The mansion that merchant boss Marcos arranged for Kaelen’s delegation was located at the most prime location midway up the Eastern hill of Silverport. Looking down from the white marble balcony of this mansion, one could take completely into sight all twelve bustling docks as well as Auction Island currently being covered by a blurry magical fog layer in the middle of the bay.

As soon as Marcos bowed excusing himself and closed the iron gate of the mansion, the polite smile on Kaelen’s face immediately disappeared without leaving a single trace.

"Inspect once thoroughly." Sane both took off his outer cloak tossing it onto the sofa, and ordered the fifty Crimson tribe warriors going along.

The White Elephant clan escort captain immediately nodded, taking out from his space pocket a small-sized energy wave detector device personally crafted by Ignis’s own hands back home.

Within less than ten minutes, the Crimson warriors had pulled out from under table bottoms, inside flower vases, behind picture frames and even under the water trough in the horse stable a total of twenty-eight magic stone bugs as large as black beans!

These were all one-way audio transmission magical tools that the Merchant Boss Council pre-installed in all mansions reserved for distinguished guests, used to eavesdrop seeing how much gold money the customers brought along, targeting which items, or having any conspiracy causing disadvantage for Silverport or not.

Sane looked at the stone bug pile currently stacked into a small pile on the tea table surface, his mouth corners curving up into a disdainful smile.

He did not crush them immediately, but flicked an extremely tiny Purple Lightning streak transforming into a simulated magnetic field ring covering over the stone bug pile. Under the effect of this magnetic field ring, the crowd currently wearing earpieces at the other end could only hear completely normal laughing and discussing sounds about good wine and beautiful girls, absolutely not hearing half a word of the real story currently happening in the living room.

Finishing doing all matters completely, Kaelen finally put the leopard cub Finnick from his shoulder down onto the round table in the middle of the room, asking with a serious face:

"Finnick, what is the matter about the parasitic insect in old man Marcos’s belly that you said out at the dock earlier? Did you see clearly its structure?"

The leopard cub sat properly on the stone tabletop, its long tail gently wrapped around its two hind legs, its calm voice ringing out:

"I saw very clearly. That insect is raised large by exactly the life force in the Elf clan’s blood combined with the resentment aura of the blood-drawn people before dying. The stupid mortal crowd on this continent kept thinking drinking the Immortality Potion into their bodies then they can rob the lifespan of the Elf clan to stay young forever. But actually, the thing helping old man Marcos’s skin stay taut and smooth like a young man’s is not the life force of Elf blood, but the fluid secreted by the God of Decay’s parasitic insect to preserve the host body!"

The girl Ivy currently standing beside pouring tea hearing that her hands trembled once:

"Preserve... preserving the host body means what, Sir?"

"Like the wasp species injecting venom into the spider’s body so the spider does not die yet still preserves fresh meat for the larva to eat gradually." Finnick coldly explained:

"Whoever drinks more Immortality Potion, the parasitic insect inside that person’s body is plumper and roots deeper all the way into their soul. Normally they will have the feeling of a healthy body, staying young and living longer than ordinary people by a whole hundred years. But once the God of Decay at the other end needs to harvest energy, or when the parasitic insect matures completely, it will swallow cleanly entirely the flesh, blood, life and soul of the host body within exactly one night!"

Hearing to this point, both Godfrey and Ivy could not help but suck in a breath of cold air, goosebumps rising all over their two arms.

Kaelen then immediately strung back entirely all matters from the time in the Cathalan Royal Capital all the way to now.

"No wonder!" Kaelen’s green eyes flashed a freezing cold light ray: "No wonder the old Pope in the Royal Capital just having the white fire source under the basement cut off then in just one night had turned into a one-hundred-and-twelve-year-old dried corpse! Turned out the God of Decay uses the exact same trick everywhere.

With the Church monk crowd then he uses the fake faith flame to bait, while with the wealthy merchant boss crowd and aristocrats not believing in Gods and Buddhas across the kingdoms then he uses the Immortality Potion to turn the entire ruling class of the Great World into mobile insect-raising jars for him!"

Sane leaned back onto the sofa, his two hands intertwined placed before his chest, sneering once:

"For the past hundred years, not knowing how many aristocrats, kings, and grand merchant bosses across this continent have spent tons of money buying that poison bringing back drinking into their bellies already. No wonder its parasitic underground vein network is so solid like that. Turned out every single rich guy drinking the Immortality Potion is a living stake helping it lock tightly the Life and Destiny links of this world."

"Since having clearly known their conspiracy, then we even more cannot let the Blood Moon Auction session two days from now take place exactly according to their wishes."

The leopard cub Finnick sprang up standing on the tabletop, his dark green eyes looking straight out the window toward Auction Island currently sinking gradually into the darkness of dusk:

"Papa, Daddy, tonight I want to go up to Auction Island first for a trip."

"Tonight huh?" Kaelen frowned slightly worried: "Currently your Divine Energy is sealed losing nine-tenths, and even being in this leopard cub form. On that island there are up to dozens of defensive arrays and not a few mercenary powerhouses guarding, you going over there alone in case any matter happens then what?"

"Exactly because I am currently in the leopard cub form so I am exactly the most suitable person to sneak in there tonight."

Finnick calmly analyzed, completely carrying the demeanor of a deity having once experienced countless battles in the ancient times:

"The defensive arrays on Auction Island are all designed to detect the intrusion of humans or strong attacking magical energy streams like Daddy’s. While Chloe and I carry pure Life and plant origins, in this small beast form, my aura can completely blend becoming one with the grass, trees, moss, and roots under the island’s ground.

As long as Daddy uses spatial power sending me crossing the sea surface arriving close to the Northern cliff of the island, I can personally burrow following the underground veins down to the prison basement bottom to find meeting Grand Elder Sylphie and neutralize all their self-destruct arrays before the auction session begins!"

Sane looked at his third son currently standing properly before him, pondered calculating for a few seconds then nodded:

"This plan is feasible indeed. Letting you go defusing the detonator under the prison basement first, two days from now when all Twelve Merchant Bosses of Silverport along with the wealthy customer crowd from everywhere gather fully on Auction Island, we will close the doors catching the entire den in one turn!"

Kaelen seeing the father and son had finished deciding completely then also did not stop them anymore. He only carefully took out three Star Iron protective amulet leaves personally refined by his and Sane’s own hands attaching them into the soft fur layer behind the leopard cub’s neck, repeatedly reminding:

"Your mission tonight is only defusing the self-destruct arrays and stabilizing the life force for Grand Elder Sylphie only you know, absolutely not allowed to act rashly fighting with the guard crowd on the island. Finishing the job then must emit a signal for Daddy to pick up returning immediately, heard clearly yet?"

Finnick felt the warmth from his Papa’s hand currently stroking on his head, this time he completely did not dodge anymore but obediently nuzzled his small head lightly into Kaelen’s palm once, answering softly:

"Yes, Papa rest assured. I go then will return before the sky turns bright."
