Chapter 821: 821. Sky Demoness meets Tyler

A year had passed since the opening of the Pink Entertainment Hub.

During that single year, its reputation had spread throughout the entire region. What had initially been regarded as an extravagant project of the White Merchant Group had quickly become one of the most prosperous entertainment establishments in existence. Countless cultivators, merchants, nobles, and ordinary mortals visited the Pink Entertainment Hub every day. The profits it generated were enough to make even some ancient sects envious.

Naturally, where there was profit, there would also be imitators.

After seeing the success of the Pink Entertainment Hub, many cities began constructing their own entertainment districts. Some merchants even attempted to copy the White Merchant Group’s designs and magical formations. However, despite their efforts, none could truly reproduce the original.

The reason was simple.

The White Merchant Group possessed resources that ordinary merchants could not even imagine.

Tyler had already dispatched people throughout various cities to purchase suitable plots of land. Surprisingly, many city lords did not even demand payment. Instead, they eagerly offered land for free, provided that the White Merchant Group constructed one of its famous Sky Towers.

Everyone understood the reason.

Wherever a Sky Tower appeared, merchants gathered. Restaurants opened, inns prospered, transportation routes expanded, and countless cultivators arrived. The surrounding land quickly became valuable.

Thus, some city lords considered giving land to the White Merchant Group an investment rather than a loss.

At the same time, the White Merchant Group’s flying boats and flying clouds had completely disrupted the transportation market.

Traveling between cities had become faster, safer, and far more convenient. Even cultivators who once relied on expensive teleportation formations began considering the White Merchant Group’s transportation services.

Naturally, this success also attracted enemies.

Rumors spread that several powerful forces had secretly placed enormous bounties on Tyler White’s head. Some assassins had even been hired to kill him.

Unfortunately for them, finding the real Tyler White was almost impossible.

Very few people knew what he actually looked like.

The White Merchant Group had dozens of important figures who represented Tyler in different places, and many of them used the name Tyler White when dealing with outsiders. To the outside world, it was impossible to determine which Tyler was the genuine one.

As a result, several assassins had already made the mistake of attacking one of his substitutes.

None had ended well.

Far from the Pink Entertainment Hub, a magnificent flying vessel slowly approached the enormous tower.

A beautiful woman sat lazily within the vessel, surrounded by several equally stunning women.

She was known throughout the region by two titles.

The Demoness of the Sky.

Or, more commonly, the Sky Demoness.

At this moment, even she could not hide the astonishment in her eyes.

"Wow..."

The Sky Demoness leaned forward and stared through the transparent window.

The enormous Pink Entertainment Hub towered above the surrounding city like a mountain reaching into the heavens. Pink spiritual lights traced its edges, making the entire structure shine brilliantly beneath the sunlight.

"The man we’re going to meet is temporarily the Boss of this place?"

Her beautiful eyes narrowed slightly.

"This building is enormous."

The flying vessel slowly descended and landed in the designated parking area.

The Sky Demoness stepped out and sat upon a specially designed flying platform. Four beautiful women followed behind her, each carrying an elegant appearance and powerful aura.

They entered the tower.

A moment later, they were escorted upward.

Rather than using the ordinary transportation clouds, they were guided by a golden cloud reserved for distinguished guests. It carried them through the enormous tower and eventually reached the residential area near the summit.

The higher they went, the more luxurious everything became.

The Sky Demoness looked around with growing astonishment.

"This place alone is wealthier than many cities and sects."

Soon, the golden cloud arrived at the highest two floors.

The moment they stepped down, three identical young women approached them.

Lala, Momo, and Nana.

Behind them stood rows of beautiful maids who immediately bowed respectfully.

The Sky Demoness glanced at the three sisters before looking at the maids behind them.

Her eyes sparkled.

"So this is how the Boss lives..."

She smiled knowingly.

"He really knows how to enjoy himself."

The three sisters remained calm and quickly guided their guests toward the laboratory.

The moment the Sky Demoness entered, however, her expression changed again.

The laboratory was enormous.

It was practically as large as a mansion.

Various strange artifacts, formations, spiritual devices, and experimental equipment filled the vast space. Even someone as experienced as the Sky Demoness found herself curious about several of the things she saw.

She turned toward the triplets.

"What are your names, ladies?"

Lala politely smiled.

"I’m sorry, but we can only discuss personal matters after receiving our master’s permission."

Momo and Nana nodded in agreement.

The Sky Demoness raised an eyebrow.

"Oh?"

A playful smile appeared on her face.

"Then I’ll simply buy you from your master."

The three sisters looked at one another.

Then they chuckled.

The Sky Demoness’s smile immediately disappeared.

For some reason, that laughter felt strangely insulting.

It was almost as though the three sisters were saying—

You can’t afford us.

A spark of competitiveness appeared within the Sky Demoness’s eyes.

"Interesting."

She stepped forward.

"Then let’s see what kind of master you have."

With that, she entered the laboratory.

Behind her, the three Sinclair sisters exchanged amused glances before following.

None of them seemed worried.

After all, the person the Sky Demoness had come to meet was waiting somewhere inside. And once she met Tyler White, she would finally understand why the three sisters had laughed.

---

Tyler looked utterly exhausted as he lay helplessly embedded in a large piece of floating rock. The stone drifted slowly above the ground, carrying him around the enormous laboratory like a cultivator who had completely given up on life. His hair was messy, his clothes were slightly disordered, and even his eyes seemed to have lost their usual brightness.

At that moment, the laboratory doors opened.

A beautiful woman dressed in an elegant robe slowly walked inside. Her every movement carried a natural grace, and her eyes swept across the enormous laboratory with curiosity. She had originally come here for an entirely different reason, but after seeing Tyler in such a sorry state, she immediately understood that something was wrong.

Tyler raised his head.

"Ah... are you the new helper I requested?"

The Sky Demoness was stunned for a moment.

Then the corners of her lips curled upward.

She had already left her guards outside the laboratory. However, that did not mean she was worried about Tyler. With her cultivation and abilities, even if things suddenly became unpleasant, she was confident that she could handle the situation.

Since Tyler had mistaken her identity, there was no reason to correct him immediately.

She smiled and nodded.

"Yes, Boss."

"Good." Tyler’s eyes brightened slightly. "You know alchemy, right?"

The Sky Demoness nodded.

Although she was famous for many things, alchemy was one of her strongest fields. Her attainments were far from ordinary, and among the younger generation, there were very few who could compare with her.

"Come here. Help me with this."

Tyler slowly floated toward an enormous cauldron.

The Sky Demoness followed him.

The moment she saw what was inside, her expression froze.

The enormous cauldron was filled with a thick purple substance that bubbled continuously. Strange spiritual energy leaked from it, mixing with the bitter fragrance of countless medicinal herbs.

The Sky Demoness’s nose twitched.

She sniffed the air once.

Then again.

Her expression suddenly changed.

"This... this...!"

Her voice rose several levels.

"You ruined this many high-grade medicinal herbs?!"

The Sky Demoness almost shouted instinctively.

She had originally intended to casually play along with Tyler’s misunderstanding. Yet after seeing the contents of the cauldron, her heart ached.

Those were not ordinary herbs.

Even a powerful sect would carefully preserve such ingredients. Some of them were incredibly difficult to find, while others required years or even decades to mature.

And Tyler had thrown them all into a cauldron and turned them into purple goo.

Tyler, however, looked completely unfazed.

He simply floated back to his stone and lay down again.

"Yeah. That’s why I asked for an alchemist."

The Sky Demoness stared at him.

Tyler continued lazily, "Don’t worry about the payment. Once you successfully refine the pill, you can take an entire batch of the same ingredients for yourself."

Her expression changed slightly.

"An entire batch?"

"Yeah."

Tyler waved his hand dismissively. "We have plenty of herbs. You don’t need to worry about failure either. If you ruin this batch, just make another one."

The Sky Demoness’s lips twitched.

Plenty?

She suddenly wondered what kind of terrifying organization the White Merchant Group actually was.

Tyler pointed toward a small house located at the far end of the laboratory.

"I’ll be resting over there. If you need anything, just come find me."

With that, he turned over on the floating stone and closed his eyes.

The Sky Demoness stood motionless.

She had not come here to become Tyler’s temporary alchemist.

She had come with another purpose entirely.

She was even about to reveal her true identity and question him about certain matters.

But then her eyes landed on the pill recipe beside the cauldron.

Her gaze froze.

She slowly picked it up.

At first, she merely glanced at the contents.

Then her breathing became heavier.

Her expression gradually became serious.

She read the recipe again.

And again.

"This..."

Her fingers tightened around the paper.

She had initially thought that doing a little work for Tyler would be nothing more than an amusing experience. But now, the words she had been about to say disappeared completely from her mind.

The recipe in her hands was not some ordinary pill formula.

It was an ancient and extremely precious recipe.

Flawless Golden Core Pill.

Even the Sky Demoness had only heard rumors about it.

A pill capable of purifying one’s foundation, strengthening the golden core, and eliminating impurities within the body was already extraordinarily valuable. But the Flawless Golden Core Pill was said to be on an entirely different level.

Its refinement method had been lost for countless years.

And now...

Tyler had casually thrown the recipe beside a cauldron as though it were an ordinary piece of paper.

The Sky Demoness slowly looked toward the floating stone where Tyler was sleeping.

Her eyes became complicated.

Who exactly is this man?

After a long silence, she took a deep breath and rolled up her sleeves.

"Since I’m already here..."

A faint smile appeared on her lips.

"Refining one batch shouldn’t hurt."

She approached the enormous cauldron and began preparing the herbs.

At that moment, she no longer cared about playing along with Tyler’s misunderstanding.

She wanted to see whether this legendary pill could truly be refined.

And more importantly, she wanted to know what kind of secrets were hidden behind this group.
