The Shining Star Above The Heaven

Chapter 1322: I Will Kill All of You

  • Next Chapter

All the Immortal Saints heard the shout and instinctively stopped their attacks. They looked toward the direction of the group that had come from the Higher Heavens.

The flow of reinforcements was still coming from the pillar of light, and all of them had already spread out, surrounding Aldrian’s position from hundreds of kilometres away.

The spatial storm from the spatial crack that covered Aldrian’s figure slowly receded as the crack gradually recovered.

All the cultivators who saw it silently waited for Aldrian’s figure to appear again after the crack disappeared.

After waiting for a few seconds, the spatial crack finally completely closed, and Aldrian’s figure became clear for everyone to see.

At this moment, there were already more than four hundred Immortal Saints, with the average among them being at the Middle Immortal Saint stage.

All of them wore various expressions. Most of them looked solemn, while the others felt confused, tense, and even fearful. Even after all of those combined attacks, Aldrian did not suffer any injury because of his absurdly strong barrier.

Just how could he have that kind of strong defense?

Many thought that it might be an artifact, but they wondered if there was an artifact that could withstand the continuous attacks of hundreds of Immortal Saints.

Although Aldrian was only floating there silently without doing anything, many of them felt tense without knowing why.

Aldrian’s presence itself made them feel that way, which was already a huge red flag for some of them. If their souls’ natural reaction was like this despite having trained for hundreds of thousands of years, then they knew that the being in front of them was bad news.

There was only silence, and the sounds they could hear were the breaths of some of them, as well as the flow of Immortal Saint cultivators that kept coming from all directions.

All of them had completely surrounded Aldrian without leaving him a gap to escape.

After a few moments of silence, the leader of the first group from the Higher Heavens spoke.

“I don’t know who you are, but as you can see, there is no way you can escape, and there is no way you can face all of us. Just surrender yourself to me.”

Aldrian’s calm expression did not change. He swept his gaze across all the cultivators surrounding him and closed his eyes.

“Are all of your gods already so desperate that they have to send a combined force from different factions? They truly think highly of me. I wonder if they will descend later to face me,” he said in a calm voice, but his voice could be heard across the entire space.

All of the cultivators around Aldrian instantly felt offended, with many of their expressions contorting with fury.

“You… don’t talk about our god as if you are someone worthy of speaking about him in such a way! You are not even worthy of his dust!”

“Blasphemous bastard! How dare you talk about our god as if he is on the same level as you! You are not even worthy of feeling his might!”

“What an arrogant fucker! Don’t ever think you can stay alive after speaking about our god like that!”

Various slurs and curses were hurled at Aldrian. Their fear was replaced by anger at the way Aldrian treated their god, as if they were already desperate, as if they were mere mortals.

Aldrian lightly smiled when he heard all of their angry remarks. Now, the situation even more interesting after seeing their anger triggered, and they no longer felt hesitant because of their fear or doubt.

He did not know if they would still have the same spirit once he made his move, but at least, he could give them a push to attack more earnestly.

He wanted them to taste despair.

He wanted them to unleash everything they had, only to find out that they could not do anything to him.

They were ants!

Aldrian saw that the ones who were the most angry were those who came from the Higher Heavens. They looked like they were ready to kill him, and they could not wait to do so.

The leader of the first group was already holding back his anger. Although he did not show much emotion in his expression, his eyes were glistening, and his face had darkened.

“To think that someone at Immortal Overlord stage dares to speak impolitely about our god. I don’t know who you are, but you are already dead. And you will die a painful death.”

His aura leaked out as he continued trying to keep his fury in check. Despite the fury raging inside his heart, he still did not lash out and blindly attack.

“Fuck, I cannot hold it anymore!”

One of the dragons shouted, and his body transformed into a huge dragon!

He was a kind of Western dragon with a long neck, a huge main body, a long tail, and a wide wingspan.

His size was enough to cover a quarter of the Barisan Continent, with his wingspan alone reaching half of the continent.

The dragon prepared to attack as his mouth began unleashing extreme heat. Sparks of flame appeared from the dragon’s mouth, and Aldrian felt the space around him become sealed.

An invisible spatial barrier trapped him in place, while the surrounding space also prevented him from using the Space Laws.

Many other cultivators also began preparing to unleash their attacks.

All of it happened in a mere second.

Aldrian glanced at the dragon for a split second before looking back at the man who was the leader of the first group.

“You said that I couldn’t escape earlier. But you misunderstood me. I don’t have to escape from all of you…”

Suddenly, a powerful pressure descended from the heaven.

The leader of the first group widened his eyes as his heart trembled and his soul shook.

The pressure itself was as if the heaven were displaying their might, a power so overwhelming that even Transcendence Realm cultivators would have to tremble beneath it.

The fury that many cultivators had felt just moments ago instantly vanished, replaced by the shock.

Aldrian’s aura burst forth in all its glory, making his entire being appear so majestic. At this moment, he was the true ruler of the world.

He was a god of the First Heaven.

And he would return to become the god of this universe.

His body floated higher as he took out the Sword of the End and unsheathed it. The moment the sword revealed its true form, its aura spread throughout the surroundings, adding to the overwhelming pressure of the heavens.

“I will kill all of you,” Aldrian declared one last time as his body suddenly crackled with heavenly lightning, causing the space across millions of kilometres to tremble.

The hundreds of cultivators who witnessed the change in Aldrian and felt his aura, combined with the heavenly lightning surrounding him, all felt goosebumps rise across their bodies.

‘Heavenly lightning? How can he control heavenly lightning?! How can an Immortal realm cultivator wield such power?!’

That was what many of them thought at that moment. However, this realization also made them understand that they would truly die if they continued to hesitate.

“Attack him with everything you’ve got!” the leader of the first group shouted.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Various attacks were unleashed toward Aldrian. The dragons and phoenixes transformed into their true forms and unleashed their attacks as well.

The dragons unleashed blue flames, while the phoenixes unleashed dark red flames. There were also other spiritual beast races following behind them, such as the Great Peng, Vermilion Birds, griffins, and several others.

Aldrian, who saw hundreds of attacks coming toward him, felt as if time were moving slowly. The movements of the incoming attacks appeared slower to him, and everything around him seemed to become slower.

He felt his body trembling as he channeled fifty percent of his entire domain’s power into his body. He moved his sword to the side before finally—

Slash of Vanguard!

Aldrian performed an unusual variation of Slash of Vanguard. He spun his body 360 degrees while unleashing a horizontal slash.

The moment the Slash of Vanguard left his sword, the entire space seemed to lose its color for a split second before—

Whoosh! Rumble!

The space surrounding him instantly collapsed, revealing the void beyond it, and all the attacks coming toward him were swept away by the powerful burst of force released by his slash.

Brute force met brute force. In the end, the strongest would be the one to prevail, and that was exactly what happened.

The combined attacks of hundreds of Immortal Saint cultivators from different races were destroyed by Aldrian, who wielded the power of the First Heaven.

The collapsing space once again created a powerful spatial storm, making the already chaotic situation even more chaotic.

All the cultivators from the Higher Heavens widened their eyes in shock, not only because Aldrian had destroyed all of their combined attacks, but also because of the terrifying power behind the attack unleashed by Aldrian himself!

They got goosebumps when the power of a Transcendence Realm attack spread toward them!

Aldrian’s attack had not lost its momentum even after destroying hundreds of incoming attacks, and the arc of sword energy continued rushing toward them.

No one had time to warn the others. No one said anything except that they needed to move fast!

The group from the Higher Heavens dodged the incoming sword energy, but unfortunately, the cultivators closest to Aldrian did not have enough time to evade it.

Slash!

Tens of Immortal Saints had their bodies cut apart in that instant. They still did not realize what had happened to them, as everything had occurred far too quickly for them to comprehend.

Bzzt! Bzzt! Rumble! Rumble!

Not yet recovered from the terror caused by the powerful slash, they then heard the rumbling of lightning. At that moment, they saw Aldrian’s figure already completely bathed in heavenly lightning.

Once again, they felt terror as they realized that the lightning possessed enough power to instantly obliterate them if they came into contact with it!

“Spread out!” the leader of the first group roared, but before he could even move—

Whoosh!

Something passed through his body, and his consciousness turned dark.
