Chapter 115: 115 overwhelming force

115 overwhelming force

Kaelia fell onto one knee, her chest rising and falling rapidly, her left arm trembling.

Her injured shoulder had begun bleeding again, so she reached for the small pouch attached to her waist and took out a pill.

Nysara watched as Kaelia placed the pill into her mouth and swallowed it. A warm energy immediately exploded inside her body.

The pill’s spiritual energy coursed through her meridians, and the ruptured vessels began recovering rapidly.

The wound on her shoulder slowly closed, the bleeding stopped, and her breathing stabilized.

At the same time, Nysara took out a similar pill and swallowed it. A wave of spiritual energy swept through her body, the pain diminished, and her more serious injuries began to heal.

Kareth frowned in disbelief.

"Recovery pills..."

Her expression changed dramatically.

"What kind of miraculous recovery pills are these?"

Nysara clenched her fingers.

"You should have killed us before. Now that we’ve recovered to a certain extent, you have no chance against us."

She disappeared at high speed, leaving only her words and afterimages behind.

Kareth raised her sword, but unfortunately, she was too slow. Nysara appeared behind her in the blink of an eye.

Spiritual energy concentrated in the Elder’s palm. In a violent strike, her hand pierced through Kareth’s spiritual defense and struck directly against her chest.

Kareth was thrown forward, her armor cracking. Nysara, however, appeared in front of her again, and a second palm struck her abdomen.

BOOM!

Then a third.

BOOM!

Kareth staggered, her sword almost falling from her hand. Even so, she tried to raise the weapon one last time.

Nysara gracefully spun her body, her leg striking the Lizardwoman’s head and crushing her skull.

CRACK!

Kareth fell. Her sword slipped from her fingers, and the spiritual energy surrounding her body slowly disappeared.

Kareth was dead.

For several seconds, the nearby enemy soldiers remained motionless, unable to believe what their eyes were showing them.

The commander leading that part of the army had fallen.

Drazek roared in rage.

"COMMANDER!"

The Lizardman charged like an uncontrolled wild beast, his spear covered in a thick layer of spiritual energy as he launched a frantic and brutal attack.

Kaelia blocked the attack, channeling her spiritual energy to its maximum.

CLANG!

The impact caused her feet to sink into the ground. Drazek advanced again, his spear spinning furiously.

Kaelia dodged with incredible agility, but at that moment, the tip of the weapon shattered a stone behind her.

She spun her body and jumped backward as if dancing, simultaneously reversing her movement and causing her fist to strike the Lizardman’s face.

Drazek staggered backward. Kaelia did not stop there. She advanced at the same time that Nyra appeared behind her.

The sword cut across her back, and blood sprayed through the air as Kaelia fell forward.

Nysara immediately appeared between the two.

CLANG!

Nyra’s sword struck her defense. The Elder spun her hand, channeling the spiritual energy that exploded from her palm.

Nyra was launched into the air at the perfect moment. Kaelia took advantage of the opening and jumped.

Her knee struck the commander’s abdomen in midair.

Nyra lost her breath.

Kaelia grabbed her neck with all the strength she could gather, spiritual energy concentrating in her arms.

She twisted her own body to give even more power to her grip.

CRASH!

Nyra was smashed against a wall, which collapsed on top of her. Stones fell in every direction.

Kaelia landed.

For several seconds, there was no movement.

Then a hand appeared among the rubble.

Nyra was still alive.

She tried to stand.

Blood flowed from her mouth and from several other wounds. Her left arm was broken.

Even so, her eyes were still filled with hatred.

"I..."

She tried to raise her sword.

"I still..."

Kaelia appeared before her. The young Medusa hesitated for a moment.

Nyra attempted to attack.

Kaelia concentrated spiritual energy into her fist.

BOOM!

The blow struck her unarmored chest, and the energy passed through her entire body, shattering her bones.

Nyra lost her strength.

Her body fell among the stones again, but this time, she did not rise again. Her heart and many of her internal organs had been completely destroyed.

Kaelia took a deep breath as she looked at the rubble.

"Two are already dead."

Nysara did not answer. Her eyes were fixed on Veyra. The commander had stood up.

Her face was covered in blood, and part of her armor had disappeared.

But she was still holding her sword.

"You killed Kareth and Nyra."

She raised her blade. ℴℴ𝘮

"Then I will kill both of you slowly and painfully."

Veyra charged.

Nysara advanced at the same time.

The two disappeared.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

The strikes happened so quickly that the nearby soldiers could only hear the impacts.

Veyra channeled spiritual energy into every strike and movement. Her sword left glowing trails in the air.

Nysara dodged by mere centimeters thanks to her incredible agility. The blade cut through a strand of her hair.

She spun.

Her palm struck Veyra’s arm, and the commander retreated.

Kaelia appeared behind her.

Her fist struck Veyra’s back.

BOOM!

The commander fell to her knees.

Nysara did not waste the opportunity.

Her spiritual energy concentrated in her hand and struck Veyra directly in the chest.

The commander’s spiritual defense resisted for only an instant before cracking.

The energy pierced through the defense and struck her core. Veyra’s eyes widened. Blood came out of her mouth.

Her body trembled.

Nysara withdrew her hand.

Veyra looked at her in terror and then at Kaelia.

Her sword fell, and she slowly collapsed.

Dead.

Drazek remained motionless.

Three generals had fallen, and all of them were at the tenth level of the Profound Nascence Realm.

Kareth.

Nyra.

Veyra.

The battlefield changed completely. The enemy soldiers who had previously advanced without hesitation began looking backward.

The Medusas noticed their enemies’ hesitation. Some wounded warriors raised their weapons again.

A small cry rose among them.

"THE ELDERS KILLED THE GENERALS!"

Others responded with the same euphoria, and for several seconds, the defensive line recovered its morale and strength.

As the only remaining general, Drazek did not retreat. He simply looked at Nysara and Kaelia, then at the corpses of his fallen companions, unable to believe what he was seeing.
