Li Yang turned his head and couldn’t help but laugh. The silly dog was still following his command, ramming into the tree with gusto. It was already on the verge of collapsing, swaying back and forth like a drunk.

Shen Xu’s mouth twitched. ’You stupid dog, this guy is messing you up!’

"It’s you!" Qin Susu wasn’t stupid either. She pointed at Li Yang and said, "It was definitely you! You told Dahuang to ram the tree, didn’t you? You inhuman bastard!"

Qin Susu had originally been a little grateful to Li Yang, since he had saved her dog.

But seeing how Li Yang was treating Dahuang, she became furious and gritted her teeth.

Li Yang chuckled. "This dog insists on thanking me by performing a magic trick. And I gotta say, this dog knows more about gratitude than some people!"

"You!" Qin Susu was so furious she could have spit blood.

This was a real eye-opener for Han Qiuyue.

After speaking, she glanced at Qin Susu.

"Cousin, I’m not going to thank him!" Qin Susu said immediately. "He bullied me."

Han Qiuyue ignored her. "Don’t mind her. Thank you."

"You’re too kind, Sister Han!" Li Yang smiled and walked back to his truck. He took out the medicine he had prepared and placed it in Han Qiuyue’s hand. "Here, this is the medicine I prepared for you. I almost forgot with all this commotion. Take it home and brew it according to the instructions I wrote. It should completely cure your illness in a week at most."

"Okay!" Han Qiuyue was overjoyed.

"Well, I’m heading off then!" Li Yang got into the truck and waved at them.

Han Qiuyue nodded.

"C’mon, boy, follow me!" Li Yang started the truck, stepped on the gas, and gestured to Dahuang as he drove off.

The moment Dahuang saw this, it abandoned Qin Susu and took off, tongue lolling as it chased after the pickup truck.

"You dog-napper..." Qin Susu stomped her foot in anger. "Dahuang, stop chasing him... Come back! That scoundrel is just messing with you!"

The policewoman facepalmed. ’What is with these people?’

’Pissing off Qin Susu again felt so refreshing!’

’Wait, I came out to buy milk powder for Xiaomu. What am I doing going home? I need to get to a store and buy it.’

The place wasn’t large, but its selection was quite complete.

Li Yang went inside and saw that the shop owner was a beautiful young woman in her thirties, currently breastfeeding a child who looked about a year old.

"Ma’am, do you have any milk powder suitable for a one-and-a-half-year-old?" Li Yang asked.

The owner glanced at him. ’Not bad. He’s actually quite easy on the eyes.’

"Yes, all of these are. Which kind do you want?" the owner said, pointing at a row of them.

"This expensive?" Li Yang went over for a look and found that the cans of milk powder were easily two or three hundred a can.

’That’s way too expensive!’

"Sir, all milk powder is this price these days. We don’t even make much of a profit!" the owner retorted. "Would you dare to drink milk powder that costs a hundred?"

"I wouldn’t dare..." Li Yang shook his head, his eyes fixed on the child who was suckling away eagerly. "I don’t drink milk powder, but if it’s real milk... I’d be willing to have some."

Li Yang couldn’t help but glance at the owner’s figure.

’She’s stacked, totally explosive. A big drink of that would probably get me drunk.’

The owner couldn’t help but laugh. ’This young punk who hasn’t even finished puberty dares to flirt with me.’

She quickly placed the child, who had fallen asleep after feeding, into a stroller nearby. "Want a drink?"

Li Yang’s expression turned awkward. ’Ma’am, I was just joking with you! Don’t take it seriously.’

The owner’s face twitched. ’This guy’s a real piece of work.’

"This is the price I sell it for..." the owner insisted, not budging.

A flash went through Li Yang’s eyes. He saw a patch of blood stasis in the owner’s abdomen.

He looked through his jade thumb ring and saw it even more clearly.

’Turns out the owner had a C-section. There’s a scar on her abdomen, clearly from the surgery.’

’The blood stasis in her abdomen might be from it not being fully cleared out at the time.’

"Ma’am, if I can tell you something important about your condition, can you give me a discount?" Li Yang asked.

"That depends on what you have to say!" The shop was probably empty, and seeing as Li Yang wasn’t bad-looking, the owner was willing to banter with him.

"You had your child by C-section, right? And you didn’t go for an ultrasound after giving birth, did you?" Li Yang asked.

The owner was taken aback. "I did have a C-section. As for the ultrasound, my shop got busy, so I never went. After that period passed, I just forgot about it."

"Then have you been feeling any discomfort in your abdomen? Especially recently!"

"I have!" The owner grew a little nervous when she heard this. "How did you know?"

"The blood stasis in your abdomen was never fully cleared out!" Li Yang told her frankly. "If you don’t clear it out soon, you’ll probably start having regular stomach discomfort."

"Really?" The owner couldn’t sit still any longer and shot to her feet. "Young man, how do you know all this? What should I do? I need to go to the hospital..."
