Chapter 352: Going Out on Business

Li Yang’s eyes lit up. “Expanding already? Where are you thinking of expanding to?”

“Ningzhou!” Zhao Xuechu said. “I’ve already thought it through. First, we need to target the market in the southern part of the province. Once we’ve secured the market here, our company will be strong enough. Then, we can expand toward the provincial capital.”

Li Yang smiled and nodded. “Sounds good. Do as you see fit. I don’t handle this stuff anyway, so you can just take care of it.”

Zhao Xuechu smiled slightly. “That’s a relief.”

After saying goodbye to Zhao Xuechu, Li Yang went to the manor site.

The manor was already more than halfway complete and was looking quite good.

The main buildings were already finished, with only some finishing touches left to be done.

‘The manor is going up so fast!’

Li Yang was getting excited.

The manor was built; the next problem was attracting customers.

With this in mind, Li Yang drove into the city.

Arriving at Hidden Dragon Manor, the owner, Shang Hongyun, threw herself at him the moment she saw him. “President Li, you haven’t been here in ages.”

Li Yang couldn’t help but stare, practically trembling at the sight. ‘This woman… is so fucking alluring.’

“Boss Shang, I’m here to pick your brain!” Li Yang said seriously.

“Pick my brain?” Shang Hongyun giggled. “I’d like to pick… something else of yours.”

‘Damn!’

Li Yang felt a fire ignite within him. ‘This woman… she’s fucking doing this on purpose, isn’t she?’

Seeing Li Yang’s reaction, Shang Hongyun’s whole body went soft. “President Li, come on, let’s go inside.”

How could Li Yang resist? He immediately led Shang Hongyun inside, and soon, low moans could be heard from within.

An unknown amount of time passed before it finally fell silent.

“So, you’re trying to attract customers to your manor…” Shang Hongyun said, finally understanding. She continued, sounding a little troubled, “Honestly, I’m not sure what to tell you. My place works because the location is great—it’s not too far from the city. People know there’s a resort here with good food, so they come. But your place…”

‘It really is a little too far!’

“There is one way!” Shang Hongyun said. “There are travel agencies in the city, right? You could partner with them.”

Li Yang’s eyes lit up.

“But… I don’t know if they’d be willing to partner with you,” Shang Hongyun added, her tone helpless. “The travel agencies in our city mostly arrange trips for locals going elsewhere. It’s unlikely they would create a dedicated local route. You know as well as I do, there’s nothing in Ruizhou. We don’t have any tourist attractions. So it’s going to be tough.”

‘It’s difficult, but it’s still an option.’

Li Yang chuckled. “Sister Shang, you’re still the sharpest.”

“You’re the one who’s ‘amazing’!” Shang Hongyun retorted playfully. “Like a young bull.”

“Don’t you like it?” Li Yang asked, a little speechless.

Shang Hongyun giggled. “I love it, of course I do!”

“Then let’s go again!” Li Yang suddenly mounted her.

Shang Hongyun let out a sharp cry, which was soon drowned out by other sounds.

「In the afternoon」

Li Yang left Hidden Dragon Manor and arrived in front of a travel agency.

Youth Travel Agency!

Li Yang took a look and walked inside.

“Sir, are you here to sign up for a tour group?” a bored-looking young woman sitting inside asked immediately when she saw Li Yang enter.

Li Yang smiled and shook his head. “I’m here to talk business with you.”

‘Talk business?’

The young woman was stunned. “You… what do you mean?”

“Just what I said, talk business,” Li Yang said. “I’d like to discuss a business proposal with your general manager. Please give your manager a call. I’ll wait for him here.”

The young woman sat there for a moment before she could process what he’d said.

“Sir, we don’t really…”

“Just ask,” Li Yang said with a smile. “This will really be a big help to you.”

Having no other choice, the young woman made a call.

Yun Yun, the manager of the Youth Travel Agency, was worrying.

Business for the travel agency was getting harder and harder. She had been sent to Ruizhou and told to use her skills to see if she could drum up business here.

‘But how am I supposed to do that?!’

Ruizhou was a place people traveled *from*, not *to*. The local area had no tourism industry to speak of; its only business was sending people out.

But Ruizhou wasn’t a huge metropolis. The spending power of the locals was limited. Those who could afford it were probably working all the time, and as for the remaining elderly folks… they didn’t have the spare time or money to take trips that cost several thousand yuan on a whim.

‘And then there’s the competition…’

‘Life has gotten really difficult for me!’

‘If this keeps up, my performance this year might hit rock bottom.’

Just thinking about it made her feel awful.

Just then, her phone rang.

“Manager Yun…” The voice on the other end sounded helpless. “A customer came into the office and said he wants to discuss a partnership with you. I already tried to tell him, but he insists on seeing you and won’t leave…”

“A partnership?” Yun Yun was taken aback for a second. “What kind of partnership?”

“Manager Yun…” A man’s voice on the other end chuckled. “I have a tour route that could be a big help to you. Why don’t you come and see?”
