Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Mommy~, Wait 5 More Minutes, I’ll Show You a Good Show~

At these words, the other bratty kids, who had been unconcerned until now, instantly panicked. They started throwing tantrums, their screams shaking the heavens.

"No! No! I already bragged to my big sister that I was going to eat at Dewdrop Garden!"

"Christian Sloan, you guys hurry up and get lost! You’re not wanted here. Don’t you have any self-awareness?"

The parents of these brats had come here to freeload, and the moment they heard that wasn’t happening, their expressions turned ugly. Full of spite, they glared viciously at the three children:

"Christian, it’s not that we want to kick you out, but our sons all hate the three of you! If you’re disliked by your peers, shouldn’t you do some self-reflection?"

Joseph Lowell also shouted, "My aunt said your real mom is a jinx, so you’re jinxes too! See? It’s because of you three jinxes that Dewdrop Garden doesn’t have enough seats. You should just get lost!"

Zachery’s eyes darkened, but Christian grabbed his wrist.

Christian scanned the people around him and asked pointedly, "Uncle Lowell, Aunt Foster, are you sure you want me to get lost?"

Joseph Lowell was the first to speak, full of a sense of superiority, "Duh! You three shamelessly tagged along just because you want to get into Dewdrop Garden, right? Let me tell you, the owner of this place is my Aunt Noelle! Who do you think you are?!"

"It’s better to leave on your own now than to be thrown out later. At least you’ll save yourself the embarrassment!"

When Christian heard Noelle Lockwood’s name, he understood everything.

He pulled Zachery and Mia back a step. "Alright. But Uncle Lowell, Aunt Foster, you’d better not regret this later."

Serena Foster sneered. "A little kid talking about making me regret something. How audacious. Now, get lost!"

’Rose Lowell had said it—Dewdrop Garden was Noelle’s place. By chasing off these three little jinxes, Dewdrop Garden should be thanking them!’

Joseph Lowell swaggered inside arrogantly, but he didn’t see Christian Sloan, still wearing his small backpack, nod to someone inside Dewdrop Garden.

Zachery and Mia: "..."

’They were out of luck for offending the young master!’

...

Timothy Lowell arrived at the front desk and, with the air of someone superior, arrogantly commanded, "Check for our private room."

The receptionist was about to ask for his name when she received a phone call. Her attitude immediately became respectful. "So you are Miss Lockwood’s esteemed guests! Please, right this way!"

Timothy Lowell was very pleased to hear the name "Miss Lockwood." ’Noelle is so thoughtful,’ he thought.

’Sure enough, Rose was right. Estelle Lockwood is a jinx, and Noelle is our lucky star!’

The receptionist led Timothy Lowell’s party to a massive, luxurious private room with a river view and respectfully presented the menu. "Miss Lockwood said her friends’ meal is on the house. Please, order whatever you like. We also have gifts for the children to be brought out later."

Expensive watches designed for kids were brought to the bratty children, including Joseph Lowell. They all found them novel and fun and immediately put them on.

The other parents couldn’t wait to start flattering her. "Mrs. Lowell, it’s impossible to get a reservation at Dewdrop Garden, and the food is outrageously expensive! To think you have enough influence to get the entire meal for free!"

"Mr. Lowell, I heard your niece owns this restaurant?"

"Joseph, your aunt is so incredible! To think she owns such a huge restaurant!"

Joseph Lowell puffed out his chest. "Of course! My Aunt Noelle is amazing!"

"Yes, and you all might not know this, but Noelle and Christian’s mother are actually sisters. But as for the two of them..."

Serena Foster let out a deliberate sigh. "The difference between them is like night and day! Christian’s mother is a jinx; even her own family can’t stand her. In short, you should keep your children away from Christian and his siblings. You wouldn’t want them to catch that bad luck!"

Timothy Lowell chimed in with agreement as he continued to order, not holding back at all.

Since it was free today, he ordered all the most expensive items. The kids couldn’t eat that much, but he and Joseph Lowell stuffed their faces. Even though Joseph Lowell was already a chubby boy, his parents still felt he ate too little, believing a good appetite was a blessing.

The bill quickly surpassed 500,000. Serena Foster said in a snide tone, "Joseph, if I’d known, I would have let those three classmates of yours come in to broaden their horizons."

One of the other parents chimed in with flattery, "You’re too kind, Mrs. Lowell. Those three kids, you could tell they have no upbringing. Who knows how their parents raised them!"

Hearing exactly what she wanted to, Serena Foster was overjoyed.

Just then, the door to the private room was suddenly pushed open, and a middle-aged man strode in, saying with a smile:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I’m the manager of Dewdrop Garden. If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to call for me."

The group grew even more excited. The manager of Dewdrop Garden himself! And he was here to personally serve their table! This was something they could brag about for years!

Serena Foster put on the airs of a high-society lady. "Very good. We’ll be sure to put in a good word for you."

"Thank you, Madam. It is our honor to serve Miss Lockwood’s friends—"

Halfway through his sentence, the manager scanned the room, and his expression changed drastically.

"Who are you? Where is Miss Lockwood? And where is our young master?"

Serena Foster didn’t know who this "young master" was, but then a thought struck her. ’The young master Noelle mentioned must be our Joseph!’

She quickly said, "Noelle couldn’t make it today. She must have told you to take good care of our Joseph, right? He’s the one to carry on the Lowell Family name..."

"The Lowell Family? Noelle Lockwood?!"

But before Serena Foster could finish, the manager’s brow furrowed, and his face instantly darkened. He demanded in a low voice, "Who in the world are you people?! Unscheduled riffraff are not allowed into Dewdrop Garden! Or did you sneak in?!"

The bratty kids and their parents all turned to look at Serena Foster.

Serena Foster’s face turned beet red. She was so furious she felt dizzy. ’I’ll have Noelle fire this blind fool of a manager later!’ she thought.

"Don’t you talk nonsense! My sister-in-law is Mrs. Rose Lowell of the Lockwood family!"

The manager grew even angrier. "Rose Lowell? Good. So you’re her family. No wonder you’re so shameless! Did you not know that Rose Lowell and Noelle Lockwood have been on our blacklist for a long time? Anyone associated with them is barred at the door!"

"Forget you people, even if Noelle Lockwood herself showed up, she wouldn’t be allowed in!"

The entire room fell silent. The other parents stared, wide-eyed.

One moment, Serena Foster was the honored guest; the next, she was being chewed out to her face. She trembled with rage.

"We’re customers! How dare you speak to us like that! It’s not like we’re planning to dine and dash!"

The manager sneered. "Fine. In that case, please pay your bill. Since you are the Lowells, who should have been barred entry, there is no free meal and no discount. Your total is 560,000. And the complimentary watches—we’ll be needing those back!"

Serena Foster froze when she heard the number was over 500,000.

...

When Estelle Lockwood arrived at the entrance of Dewdrop Garden, she found her three children sitting quietly on a sofa in the lobby, reading their books.

"Mommy!" Christian was the first to run up to her, looking for a pat on the head.

Estelle Lockwood breathed a sigh of relief. "Are you hungry? Let’s go eat."

"No rush, Mommy."

Christian blinked, glanced toward the private rooms, and said with mock solemnity, "Just wait five more minutes. You’re in for a good show."
