Chapter 205: Chapter 205: ’Green Tea’ Christian

Inside the private room.

Serena Foster felt a sharp pang in her heart when she heard the total. She was about to throw a tantrum.

But before she could say a word, the bratty kids and their parents started causing a scene the moment they heard the watches would be taken back.

"No way! The gifts are already in our hands. You can’t just take them back!"

"WAAAH! Mommy, I want the watch!" one of the brats wailed, their cries shaking the room.

The brat’s mother immediately said, "Mrs. Lowell, you’re so rich anyway. Why don’t you just buy the watches for us? Problem solved, right?"

Serena Foster silently cursed Rose Lowell. Noelle Lockwood had clearly been blacklisted by Dewdrop Garden, yet Rose had encouraged them to put on this show of wealth, leading to this utter humiliation!

She was already worried they couldn’t even afford the bill of over half a million, so hearing these people demand she buy the watches made her face twist in a furious scowl. She snapped at the manager, "The watches weren’t for me! Make them pay for them themselves!"

The manager chuckled and turned. "This is a high-tech custom watch. The internal price is 105,000 each. I can do you a favor and round it down. Let’s call it an even 100,000."

The parents panicked. "Serena Foster, Timothy Lowell! How could you do this? It’s so expensive! We’re not buying them!"

"Exactly! You said you were treating, that Dewdrop Garden was practically your family’s place! That’s the only reason we accepted the watches. And now you want us to pay? Do you take us for suckers?!"

"And to think I was just singing your praises. This is just my bad luck!"

The manager said coldly, "That’s fine. The bills will be sent to your phones. If you do not pay within three days, we will contact the police. Now, please leave!"

The group was kicked out, the brats’ earth-shattering wails drawing a crowd of onlookers.

Timothy Lowell and Serena Foster were dying of humiliation but didn’t dare truly offend Dewdrop Garden. Just as they were about to leave in a fuming rage, they heard a soft chuckle.

They turned to see a woman standing beside Christian Sloan.

Estelle Lockwood raised an eyebrow. "Kicked out already? A little faster than I expected."

Serena Foster and Timothy Lowell looked over. Estelle Lockwood was sitting on a sofa with her legs crossed, holding a magazine, leisurely watching their little drama unfold.

Something in Serena Foster’s mind snapped. Without a second thought, she lunged forward, directing all her pent-up fury at Estelle Lockwood!

"You jinx! Watch it, or I’ll rip your mouth off!"

After spitting out the word "jinx," it suddenly dawned on her. She pointed a trembling finger at Estelle and shrieked:

"I knew it! It must have been you! You and your son offended Dewdrop Garden! That’s why they blacklisted Noelle and our Lowell Family! It was all you!"

Timothy Lowell’s gaze darkened as he glared at her. "I knew Rose was right. You really are a jinx!"

Humiliated and out more than half a million, the two of them were overcome with rage. They charged viciously toward Estelle Lockwood, only to be blocked by two bodyguards.

Estelle remained seated comfortably in the premium lounge area, calmly observing the couple’s contorted, ferocious expressions with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"AAAHHH!" The more Serena Foster thought about it, the more unhinged she became. With a burst of strength, she actually broke through the bodyguards’ hold and lunged toward Estelle, raising her hand to deliver a vicious slap—

Estelle calmly dodged.

CRASH! A vase shattered on the floor. Serena Foster’s face went pale, and she stumbled back a step. "Estelle Lockwood, why did you dodge?! Everyone saw that! The vase only broke because she moved! It has nothing to do with me..."

"Estelle Lockwood, you’re finished! Not only did you offend Dewdrop Garden, but now you’ve broken one of their vases! You’re done for!"

Estelle tutted. ’Serena Foster and Suzi Lowell really are mother and daughter. They even think the same way.’

Noelle Lockwood had sweet-talked Suzi Lowell into a state of brainlessness, and this couple, Serena Foster and Timothy Lowell, were no better.

"Miss Lockwood, Young Master, are you alright?!"

Just then, the manager rushed over and shoved Serena Foster aside. She yelped and fell to the ground. The manager sneered.

"What does the Lockwood and Lowell families being blacklisted have to do with Miss Estelle?!"

"Dewdrop Garden is Mr. Sloan’s property! Miss Estelle is Mrs. Sloan! The young masters and young miss are Mr. Sloan’s children! As for who offended Dewdrop Garden, do I really have to spell it out for everyone and say it was Rose Lowell and Noelle Lockwood?!"

"You—"

The manager sneered again. "You fawned over people on Dewdrop Garden’s blacklist while kicking out Dewdrop Garden’s actual young master. What kind of treatment did you expect from us?"

Then, the manager turned and said to Estelle Lockwood with a smile, "Mrs. Sloan, if you wish to dine, a private room is ready for you at any time."

As his words fell, everyone was stunned.

’Wait, did we get it wrong? The so-called guest of honor wasn’t Noelle Lockwood, but Estelle Lockwood!’

Timothy Lowell and Serena Foster were in utter shock, shaking their heads frantically. "N-No, impossible... Rose clearly said Estelle was a jinx, and Noelle was the Lucky Star! How could this be..."

Estelle met Christian’s eyes and understood instantly. ’This little one arranged all of this. How can Christian be so smart and adorable!’

Christian tugged on Estelle Lockwood’s sleeve. "Mommy, let’s go eat."

Then he looked back and sighed dramatically.

"Actually, I didn’t want my classmates to come all this way for nothing. I originally wanted to treat everyone, but they all insisted on kicking me out..."

"Mommy, forget it. I’m not some sucker. Manager, please make sure they receive the bill."

The manager nodded. "Young Mr. Christian, rest assured. No one has ever dared to dine and dash at Mr. Sloan’s establishment."

He emphasized the name "Mr. Sloan."

The bratty kids and their parents were both panicked and furious.

They had been sucking up to Timothy Lowell and Serena Foster because they didn’t know who Christian Sloan was.

But now that the manager had pointed it out, who else in all of Crestfall could be called "Mr. Sloan" besides *that* man?

They had offended Mr. Sloan’s son!

"Timothy Lowell, Serena Foster, this is all your fault! Why else would we have kicked out Young Mr. Christian?!"

"You deliberately hid the young master’s identity from us! You did it on purpose, didn’t you!"

"Some jinx and Lucky Star. If you ask me, Noelle Lockwood is the real jinx! If she’s the fake young lady, she should have just kept her head down instead of dragging us into her mess!"

The manager waved his hand, and the bodyguards moved to throw Serena and her husband out. But Estelle suddenly let out a soft laugh. "Timothy Lowell."

Timothy Lowell hadn’t said much until now, letting Serena do all the screaming and shouting. But looking closely, his face was now dark and twisted with a chilling, murderous intent that made even the manager swallow nervously.

Estelle, however, was completely unafraid. Meeting the eyes of her so-called uncle, she rested her chin on her hand and smiled.

"You and Rose Lowell are brother and sister, aren’t you?"

Timothy Lowell’s menacing eyes narrowed. "Why are you asking?"

"Oh, nothing..." Estelle toyed with a lock of her hair. "I was just wondering about something."
