A dog bark rang in her ears, and Aurora Cooper quickly got up from the sofa, walked forward to greet them, and said with a smile, "Dinner is just ready, I was about to call you."

Koa Jackson and Mia Ginger exchanged greetings as the four of them chatted and laughed while walking to the dining room.

They hadn’t seen each other more than a couple of times since coming back. Knowing the two would stay overnight, Aurora was naturally overjoyed. Speaking in a gentle tone, she said a few words, drank a little wine, and then asked them with a smile, "When do you plan to have kids?"

"Cough!" Mia almost choked on her soup.

Koa quickly leaned over to help her calm down, looked at her flushed face, and said helplessly, "Take it slow, you can even choke on soup."

"My mom asked too suddenly," Mia muttered, glancing at him while sipping water.

Aiden spoke up, "Your mom is concerned about you. Koa isn’t young anymore, and you’re about to graduate, it’s time to have a child. Especially your grandfather is getting older, you should understand his feelings. You can focus on your career after having a child, it’s not too late."

"I know!" Mia nodded repeatedly, pouting, "Dad, you’re getting scarier nowadays,

"This child, how can you talk like that?" Aurora gave her a reproachful look, then glanced at Aiden and smiled, "But Mia isn’t wrong, there are indeed fewer and fewer smiles."

Aurora couldn’t help but laugh, and Aiden and Koa exchanged a glance and chuckled wryly.

The Mia before them now was different from the one they first met, less sensitive, insecure, and stubborn, and with more brightness, confidence, and cheerfulness, still making people feel tender, yet also making them fond and gratified.

The rare reunion set a wonderful atmosphere, and the four enjoyed a pleasant dinner.

It was still early, so Aiden and Koa took a little break before heading out for a run.
