"Even Jax can be like a son to Brother Jackson." Mia sighed.

"These things happen in big families. Koa isn’t having it easy either, be more understanding and supportive, okay? Don’t be so clueless all the time, letting him worry about you. Everyone has their vulnerable moments, the role of a wife is different from a girlfriend. I didn’t say much when you were in school, but now that you’re working, you’re an adult. "I quit, planning to interview for an intern position at a TV station."

Aurora smiled, "Is getting into a news channel so easy? That young man’s nice."

"Looks like the time you spent studying abroad together has fostered some feelings."

Mia smiled and sighed, "He’s quite nice, we share the same ideals, and we’d run into each other at school often. Over time, we naturally got along well. Even Bob likes him a lot."

"Does he have a girlfriend?"

"..." Mia hesitated for a moment, "Oh, are you asking because you want to set him up?"

"Margot is simple-minded, pairing her with someone outside the circle isn’t bad. Didn’t you say he’s honest and kind? I just thought..."
