Chapter 1681 - 1607: Reclaiming the Restaurant (Part 3)

The crowd saw a gentleman of refined elegance, dressed in a high-end tailored suit, with a commanding presence and a face as fair as jade, leisurely instructing his assistant, "Call Mr. Fu and tell him I’m waiting for him here."

"Okay, Mr. Stewart."

As Constantine Stewart entered, his imposing aura instantly commanded the room.

It was Ah Tan’s first time meeting Constantine Stewart, and she was struck by his exceptional appearance and understated aura. She realized that he was truly the king of the refined and elegant realm, while Caspian Yarn was at best silver class.

As for Lawyer Wei, he was already taken aback. Who in the Imperial City didn’t know of the scholarly businessman Mr. Stewart, especially with his ties to the Shaw Family having been revealed, along with his background in France? Even the prominent figures of Imperial City had to rely on his mood to meet him. What did Mr. Fu of the Imperial City Hotel count for?

No one expected that the intermediary Marcus Quinn spoke of would be Mr. Stewart. Lawyer Wei felt that Marcus Quinn was overqualified for the role. With Mr. Stewart’s connection, there was no need to set up any meeting today. Just a phone call would have Mr. Fu from the Imperial City Hotel rushing over.

Mr. Deng was almost scared silly, unlike the people from the Howard Family. The methods of Constantine Stewart were incomparable to the rule-abiding Howard family. How did Marcus Quinn manage to connect this line?

Mr. Deng was drenched in cold sweat, thinking it was over. This ungrateful son was back to seek revenge, aiming to ruin him.

"Are you Mr. Stewart?" Uncle De asked incredulously. In business, especially in the dining business, lacking any insight was unacceptable.

"Yes," Constantine Stewart replied warmly and kindly, then looked at Marcus Quinn and Ah Tan, roughly understanding they were the principals, and smiled, "I came as soon as I got the call and didn’t have time for lunch. Since we’re here to discuss issues and this is a restaurant, we might as well talk while we eat."

"It’s truly an honor to have Mr. Stewart come," Uncle De said, his face flushed with excitement that this great figure was willing to stay for a meal. He quickly introduced, "This is our restaurant owner, Marcus Quinn, the heir of Old Mr. Qi."

"Thank you for coming over, I’ll cook lunch myself as a token of gratitude." Marcus Quinn, being a straightforward man, could only think of personally cooking as a gesture.

"Great. Had I known that Mr. Quinn would be personally cooking, I would have brought my wife along," Constantine Stewart said with a smile, showing respect and warmth to Marcus Quinn within a few words, closing the gap between them.

Constantine Stewart, with his sharp eyes, instantly recognized that the descendant of Old Mr. Qi was a sincere man, unsuitable for business, while his wife seemed intelligent. If Marcus Quinn’s culinary skills truly lived up to the legacy of Old Mr. Qi, he would certainly bring A-Chu along to enjoy a meal.

Uncle De and Marcus Quinn went to the kitchen to busy themselves with lunch preparations, while Ah Tan stayed behind. Lawyer Wei, even though experienced, felt a bit restrained in front of a big shot like Constantine Stewart. Mr. Deng was practically humbled to the ground, offering a smiling face, yet Constantine Stewart didn’t spare him a glance.

Ah Tan seized this rare opportunity to seek advice from Constantine Stewart on various matters.

"Mrs. Qi, are you planning to reopen the Fragrance Tower?" Constantine Stewart rarely meddled in others’ affairs, but he thought he’d do a good deed for the day.

"That’s right. We have a farm in the countryside where Old Mr. Qi spent his later years researching green and non-harmful agricultural products. We are growing everything from vegetables to medicinal herbs. From seeds to soil, it’s all handled by experts. Plus, with the clean mountains and water without pollution, the produce grown is top-notch. We can’t sell all the produce ourselves, so we plan to reopen the Fragrance Tower to carry on Old Mr. Qi’s hard work," Ah Tan said excitedly.

Constantine Stewart found it interesting to hear they even had a farm. Many people suffer from affluent diseases, especially in mid to late life, where they adopt a more Buddhist-style low-desire living and lean towards a healthy diet. If this couple’s farm is large enough and the produce is good enough, along with the culinary skills inherited from Old Mr. Qi, there’s a chance the Fragrance Tower could stand firm again in the culinary world within the Imperial City.

"Do you have photos of your farm? What types of vegetables and medicinal herbs are you growing?" Constantine Stewart asked.

Although there are wealthy business magnates who can’t spend all their money and establish large planting bases, like Ignatius Leclair.

Constantine Stewart, having returned to the country late, didn’t set up anything like that, but he did take advantage of Ignatius Leclair’s planting base vegetables. However, whether in the Imperial City or Nanyang, one is in the north, the other in the south, no climate, air, or soil could compare to the fertile land of South River, known as the caster of rice and fish.

Maybe there is indeed some difference.

"Yes, yes, not only do we have photos of the farm, but also of our Holiday Village," Ah Tan smiled warmly, pitching their Holiday Village. If Constantine Stewart, such a prominent figure, casually advertised for them, she and Marcus Quinn would make a fortune.
