Chapter 7: The Main Character (1)

"Now, change both of your clothes into these Academy uniforms."

The two of them had officially become students of the Academy.

"These clothes are pretty cool."

Haruki stepped out of the changing room, only to find Vila already waiting for him in her Academy uniform.

Not long after, Lukas appeared to take Haruki and Vila to their classroom.

Fortunately, Haruki and Vila had been placed in the same class.

Lukas entered the classroom together with Haruki and Vila, and all the students greeted him. Lukas then informed them that he would be their homeroom teacher.

"Alright... quickly introduce yourself, Haruki."

"I’m Honma Haruki. Just call me Haruki."

"Next, you, Vila," Lukas said.

"Ahm... m-my name is Vila Marshy... I-I look forward to working with all of you."

Lukas instructed the two of them to sit in the seats prepared for them at the back of the classroom. Haruki looked around, searching for Philip.

"I knew it. He’s always skipping class."

In the novel TWBTAT, Philip Charles was portrayed as a character who was always looking for entertainment and often skipped classes because of it.

"Vila... remember, most of the people here come from noble families. So we have to pretend and use our noble titles."

"Alright..."

The lesson began, although Haruki was still wondering where Philip was.

The students in the classroom whispered among themselves about the fight between Haruki and Lukas earlier.

Their homeroom teacher, Lukas, told everyone to remain focused on their studies, saying that it was also for Haruki’s comfort.

Then, someone entered the classroom.

A young man with slightly blue hair and matching blue eyes.It was Philip Charles.

"There’s no entertainment at all," Philip muttered.

"The class has already started, and you’re only coming in now, huh, Philip?!" Lukas exclaimed.

"Huh?! You?!"

Haruki was shocked.

At the same time, he couldn’t help but feel amazed.The character he had admired for so long was standing right in front of him.

"Oh, you’re that guy... the one who defeated that weak teacher, Lukas?"

"I’ll beat you up later, Philip," Lukas said.

Philip casually walked over to his seat.

And his seat was right beside Haruki.

"Nice to meet you..."

"Haruki. I’m Honma Haruki."

"Haruki... what a strange name."

Philip then turned his attention to the girl sitting beside Haruki.

"And hello to the beautiful girl beside Haruki~"

"I-I’m Vila... Nice to meet you..."

"Vila, huh? A sweet name, just like you."

Vila’s face turned slightly red as she shyly looked away.

Meanwhile, Haruki stared at Philip with a slightly disgusted expression.

The three of them continued their lessons until the class finally ended.

Lukas then instructed Philip to take Haruki to the boys’ dormitory, while he would take Vila to the girls’ dormitory.Haruki was assigned to the same room as Philip.

What the hell is wrong with him?!

That was the only thought running through Haruki’s mind.

"Well... this is my first time having a roommate. Hehe."

"Hehe Your ass."

"Oh, Haruki. You really didn’t bring any clothes with you?"

Haruki fell silent for a moment.

Shit. I didn’t even think about clothes.

Even though I have the System, I don’t have enough coins to buy any clothes.

Suddenly, Lukas kicked open the door to their room and handed Haruki some clothes.

"T-thank you, Lukas... What about Vila?!"

"Ah, about that... I tried to give her some

clothes, but she refused.She quickly became close with some other people, even though she’s shy. Her friends gave her some clothes instead."

Lukas then left just like that without even closing the door.Philip lay down on his bed while Haruki changed his clothes.

After changing, Haruki stood in front of the mirror.He slowly approached it and stared at his reflection.

Thank goodness my face didn’t change when I came to this world.

I thought my appearance would be different.

"What are you staring at in the mirror for, Haruki?"

"None of your business, idiot."

"Tch. You’re pretty rude."

After staring at his reflection for quite some time, Haruki finally lay down on his bed.

A notification suddenly appeared before his eyes.

[THE EFFECT OF SLOWING DOWN THE REAL WORLD HAS ENDED.]

[YOU WILL BE SENT BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL WORLD IN...]

Haruki stared at the notification.

"Guess I have to go back already?"

Haruki slowly opened his eyes.

He was back in his bed in the real world.

He still felt sleepy because of the sleeping pill he had taken the day before.

"Ugh... I have to go to school too?"
