The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2450: Nathalie Quinlan, Actually We Have No Conflict of Interest
Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t exactly unfamiliar with her, but they weren’t that close either, so she lowered her eyelids and tapped agree.
She was then pulled into a small team.
A three-person lobby opened by Nadya Tucker.
There were only two people in there when she went in.
Nadya then pulled another friend in, told her who the other person was, and counted that as an introduction.
Nathalie was outside, so she typed in the public chat to say she wasn’t convenient to turn on voice.
Nadya had been hanging around Govert Griffin for a long time and had learned most of his way of dealing with people, so she immediately said it was fine, they’d play this round with mics off.
Nathalie saw she didn’t mind, so she had no choice but to play a round with them.
They finished one round of the Game.
Nathalie checked the time; it was exactly three o’clock, so she said a word to Nadya and logged off.
She had just put the Phone on the table, her cold white hand picked up the glass cup and took a sip of Tea, and when she lifted her head she saw a familiar figure walk into the restaurant.
"Nathalie Quinlan, long time no see."
Zevaney Kingsley was wearing a goose-yellow suit skirt today; she looked dignified and capable, in good spirits, the whole person much more energized than when she’d been down and out before.
Confidence showed in the corners of her eyes and brows; she pulled out a chair and Sit down, casually beckoned the waiter over and ordered a cup of Coffee.
Then she placed her handbag on the seat beside her and took the initiative to say to the Girl, "I didn’t expect you to come this early."
Nathalie had already stood up, speaking with clear impatience: "Oh, if I’d known you were the one who sent the Text message, I probably wouldn’t have come."
"Enjoy yourself."
She finished and was about to leave.
Zevaney’s expression changed slightly; she reached out to stop her. "Nathalie Quinlan, I have something to discuss with you."
"No time." The Girl really didn’t give her any face, grabbed her Single shoulder bag and was about to go.
This time Zevaney couldn’t hold it together; ignoring her image, she stepped in front of the Girl to block her, reined in the arrogance in her beautiful eyes, pressed her lips together and said, "I’m serious. Nathalie Quinlan, I hope we can have Cooperation and win-win!"
The Girl shoved her hands into her pockets, half-squinted her eyes, as if amused by that line; for once, there wasn’t the usual sharpness in her gaze.
Zevaney let out a breath, her expression easing; standing in front of the Girl, she smiled slightly and said, "I have a laboratory in hand, and I hope you can join. The condition is that you help me complete a few projects. Of course there are benefits..."
"What are the benefits?" Nathalie roughly guessed what benefit she was about to bring up.
Zevaney narrowed her eyes slightly at her, looking as if she had everything under control. "I can introduce you to people from the Hidden Family."
As expected...
Nathalie wasn’t surprised she would say that, and was still getting ready to leave.
Zevaney hadn’t expected that even after she brought up the Hidden Family, the other side would stay unmoved.
She didn’t know whether Nathalie was pretending not to care or truly didn’t care. She took another step forward to block the Girl, gritted her teeth, and simply put it even more bluntly: "Martin, who has a good relationship with the dean, has already been summoned back... Now the Hidden Family is all under Mr. Isadora’s say. Without going through me, you have no way to meet him at all!"
Nathalie clicked her tongue and raised an eyebrow. "Without going through you, I have no way to meet him?"
Zevaney ignored her and continued.
"You should have heard from the dean about the strength of the Hidden Family. In the future, the Institute will also have to rely on the Hidden Family for support... Building a good relationship with Mr. Isadora now will be good for yourself."
"I hope we can reach Cooperation."
"Didn’t you refuse to return to the Kingsleys Family? I want the Kingsleys Family, you want the Institute. We don’t have any conflict of interest to begin with; there’s no need to treat each other as enemies."
What she said was reasonable and well-founded, every line full of temptation.
It looked like she’d thought this over for a long time in private.
