The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2500: Nathalie: Please Wrap This Up for Me
The girl didn’t talk much throughout, quietly listening to him while casually glancing at the nearby counters as she followed behind him.
Felix Kingsley thought she was there to buy clothes or something like that, so he offered proactively, "Ms. Quinlan, women’s clothing is on the third floor; let me take you up there."
"No need, I’m not buying clothes." Nathalie Quinlan had already spotted the counter she was looking for and walked briskly towards it, "I’m buying that."
Felix Kingsley looked in the direction she was heading and saw it was the counter of SEVEN, a high-end fashion brand that’s been popular lately.
Though he wasn’t particularly interested in jewelry as a man, he was somewhat familiar with the brand because he was always around women.
Seeing Nathalie Quinlan heading there, he knew the items inside were not cheap.
He calculated in Heart the amount of money this trip would cost, and still followed along confidently.
...
"Welcome."
The SEVEN counter primarily featured a minimalist black and white style, with equally minimalistic lighting that accentuated the dazzling diamonds and highlighted the jewelry’s inherent grandeur.
The saleswoman approached with unaltered politeness when she saw customers enter, without showing any disdain or neglect due to Nathalie Quinlan’s unassuming attire and young age, maintaining a polite smile at the corners of her mouth, "Ma’am, can I help you with anything?"
Nathalie Quinlan walked in slowly, strolled around the counter, spotted a black diamond cat brooch in the glass display, pointed at it, and said to her, "Hi, could you take this out for me to see?"
Felix Kingsley entered a step behind, immediately noticed that Nathalie Quinlan had selected a showcase level piece of jewelry, and the saleswoman was carefully taking out the brooch with gloved hands and placing it on a velvet tray for display.
He accidentally glanced at the price again.
Felix Kingsley discovered the display case holding the brooch didn’t have a price tag.
Such rank of counters generally don’t label the price because... they’re antique level jewelry.
The price is at least eight figures.
Felix Kingsley had already considered whether the budget from his wallet was enough and thought about whether his card limit was sufficient for swipe, stepped closer to view the brooch, which was indeed beautiful, sparkling under the light like something a Child would wear.
"Ms. Quinlan likes this style?"
His expression became indescribable, stealing a glance at the girl.
Nathalie Quinlan was still wearing a hoodie with a Duckbill Cap, with an overall style that was pretty tough and quite a cool girl. Felix Kingsley thought she didn’t seem like someone who’d like cartoon pets.
But with girls, who’s to say they don’t have a girlish heart?
Felix Kingsley instinctively categorized her as outwardly tough, but privately having a girlish heart, pointed at the brooch in the tray, and looked up to ask the saleswoman, "How much is this?"
The saleswoman remained as gentle and polite as ever, "This is a piece of our brand’s antique jewelry and requires our VIP clients for purchase."
Felix Kingsley looked at Nathalie Quinlan again.
Nathalie Quinlan was still looking at the brooch, with lowered eyelashes shading the emotion in her eyes, seemingly focused.
He could only further inquire from the saleswoman, "...if I’m not one of your VIPs and want to buy this, how could I become one of your VIPs?"
"Well..." The saleswoman looked troubled, indicating that without VIP status, the purchase was impossible, and the rules for becoming a brand VIP were strict.
Just then.
The girl who had been scrutinizing the black diamond cat brooch in the tray raised her head, casually pulled out a card from her pocket, handed it to the saleswoman, and without even asking the price, spoke in a light, calm, and very suave tone: "Please wrap it up for me."
