The Villainess Is My Cute Daughter
Chapter 478: New Tribe
After he said this, he thought to himself.
’Well, I am not in the mood right now to give you a long lecture about how eating carnivorous meat can cause massive bioaccumulation of toxic metals and parasites that can completely ruin your body. So I am sorry, I am just not in the mood to explain, and I don’t think you will understand everything even if I do explain the biology. Well, you probably will.... you guys are actually pretty smart.’
The group just continued walking through the dense jungle until it was almost evening.
Finally, they emerged into a clearing and found another tribe.
This time, Adrian saw a massive group of heavily scarred people walking around the camp with huge, mutated boar carcasses on their shoulders. The tribe looked small, boasting just around thirty people in total. But just those thirty people had completely dragged back six massive boars.
Two of the returning tribesmen had incredibly deep gashes all over their bodies. One of the men had a deep, long claw gash that had torn open his thigh. The other warrior was just sitting on the ground, staring at his own leg as he bit his lower lip in pure agony.
The leg that he was looking at was basically completely broken. His shin bone had cracked, and the sharp white bone pierced straight out of his flesh. It did not look pleasing at all.
One of the guards standing near the edge of the camp saw Adrian stepping out of the tree line.
"Intruder! Intruder!"
Immediately, every single person in the entire tribe, be it an adult man, a woman, or even the small kids; took out their crude weapons. Some drew their bows and arrows, some raised jagged spears, and some raised heavy stone axes.
Adrian calmly raised his empty hands into the air.
"I am here to help. I am here to peacefully exchange. No fighting! I am not here to fight."
The tense tribesmen, seeing that he did not have any weapons in his hands, slowly lowered their weapons slightly.
But then they looked past him. They saw that Octavia and Vance had their weapons drawn, and they were fully equipped in high-quality armor. The kind of armor that they had never seen their entire lives.
Seeing them, the tribesmen immediately went right back into looking incredibly alert.
Sensing the change in their behavior, Adrian kept his hands raised and his eyes completely locked onto the tribesmen. He spoke without looking back.
"You two. Don’t send your armor or back into your spatial rings. Keep them all on."
He spoke louder to address the tribe.
"These two are my bodyguards. They are here to safely make sure that no one harms me. They will not attack you as long as you do not attack us."
One of the younger tribal men, who looked like he was in his late twenties, slowly walked over to Adrian with his spear slightly lowered.
"What do you have for exchange?"
Adrian smiled warmly.
"Well, I have medicine, which will help with those wounds you have. I also have top-tier weapons. I have safe food, which will last you for months. I have clean grains, and also fresh fruit."
As he said that he had all of those things, he casually snapped his fingers.
He took a massive wooden table out of thin air using his spatial ring.
This sudden display of spatial magic startled the tribesmen. Their leader aggressively jumped back, looking alert as he pointed his crude iron tipped spear right at Adrian’s throat.
But Adrian ignored the threat. He just took out a bunch of clean steel weapons, heavy steel armor, thick tower shields, and a large bunch of potion vials. He also stacked massive piles of dried jerky and thick sausages right on top of the table.
As the steel weapons and everything else dropped loudly onto the table with a clatter, he looked directly at the tribal leader.
"Why are you pointing your spear at me?"
The leader didn’t really look embarrassed. He just slowly lowered his weapon and stared at the shiny steel weapons and armors. He looked closely at the steel spear, the perfectly straight steel sword, the steel armor, and everything else sitting on the table.
"These are good weapons?" he asked suspiciously.
Adrian nodded confidently.
"Well, yeah. They are top-tier weapons. In fact," he said as he confidently pointed at one of the steel spears on the table, "these weapons are massively better than yours. If you want, you can freely test it right now."
He casually grabbed the steel spear from the table and tossed it straight toward the leader of the tribe.
The leader caught it smoothly and started to inspect the steel spear. He ran his calloused finger along the edge of the blade, but the blade didn’t exactly cut his skin.
The spear wasn’t exactly made to cleanly slice people. It wasn’t a sharp katana. Its entire hardness and structural malleability was perfectly balanced in a way where it did exceptionally great for piercing purposes. It was forged using a specific steel alloy specifically made just to perfectly suit it’s role of being a piercing weapon.
And compared to the incredibly crude iron spear the leader was holding, this was on a completely different level of lethality.
The leader of the tribe could easily tell that it was massively better just from a few experimental swings and testing out the balance.
After doing all of that, he turned to look at Adrian.
"Can I use it on something?"
Adrian smiled. "Sure."
The tribal leader didn’t wait. He just tossed his own crude spear on the ground. He grabbed the steel spear in a throwing grip.
He took one large, explosive step forward, planted his bare foot straight into the mud, and violently launched the spear straight forward.
The steel spear flew perfectly straight and pierced flawlessly into a huge, thick tree trunk with a massive thud.
