"It depends on how much they drink. The more they drink, the stronger they become."

Adrian frowned as he thoguht about it. "Well, if that’s the case, isn’t it better to make them drink when they grow up? Because when they’re bigger, their stomach capacity is also way higher. They can hold more water, right?"

Tiger just shrugged.

"I don’t know," he said bluntly. "Our ancestors did it like this, so we do it like this. We are not going to risk one child’s future just to check whether one method works better than the other. It has been working for us, and our tribe is strong. We have no reason to risk anyone’s future and we do not have the right to risk anyone’s future either."

Adrian fell completely silent.

He just stared at the man and he felt a massive wave of respect wash over him. A man like this was incredibly hard to find. He was a leader who put the guaranteed safety of his people over the optimization of power. It was a completely different mindset compared to the garbage nobles back on the main continent who would sacrifice a hundred peasants just to get a "hero". Forget heroes, they treated many like garbage.

And Adrian didn’t find himself much different from them either.

’I look at everyone like a potential money bag... and money bags gotta be protected and taken care of. This man is one is a million...’ he thought and finally smiled.

"I wish I was as pure as you are," Adrian said. "Your tribe is lucky to have a leader like you."

He turned to glance at Octavia and Vance who were walking quitely behind him.

"Right," Adrian said as he looked back at Tiger. "Is there a place for us to stay for the night?"

Tiger scratched his neck. "Well, not really. But if you want, we can build you a temporary place to stay. Or you can share a hut with any of the tribesmen here. I am pretty sure that they will be willing to give you some space, considering the fact that you gave us so much for free."

Adrian thought about it for a few seconds.

"Oh, there is no need for that," Adrian said. "I don’t want to inconvenience any of you. I will set up my own tent, so there is no need to worry about that."

He did not wait for Tiger to argue. Adrian just raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

In an instant, multiple planks appeared out of thin air. They started to appear one by one and they were basically just bamboo logs that had been processed in his dungeon to form clean, flat boards. Each piece was exactly twenty kilograms.

Adrian used his telekinesis to drag them into place while Vance and Octavia instantly stepped in to help. They grabbed the planks and shoved the pieces together. They built a solid, enclosed wooden hut right there on the ground in a matter of minutes.

It was a tight fit and it had just enough space for the three of them to sleep comfortably.

By the time the building was done, the sky had turned dark.

Adrian did not bother going out and socializing with the tribesmen anymore. He was mentally exhausted and also stressed, so he just walked inside the bamboo room with Vance and Octavia and shut the door.

He sat down on the floor in the corner of the dark room. He closed his eyes and opened his system screen.

’System,’ he thought. ’Set up a small area. Separate a small area from the huge plot that we have in the dungeon, and make a replica of this outside area using the unique biomes skill. This is the best way to recreate the map without having to use much mana.’

[Affirmative.]

Adrian sat there in the dark for a few minutes while the system followed the command. He eventually opened his eyes and looked at the screen hovering in front of his face. It showed him an exact physical replica of the area around the native tribe. It perfectly mapped a radius of two kilometers from the center of the village.

It wasn’t a huge map, but it would suit his needs. It was enough to do the thing that he had in mind.

Once the map was saved, he finally took a deep, heavy breath. He swiped the map away and shifted the view to a certain spot in the empty grassy land.

The view on the screen changed and it showed Aria, Claire, and Serena.

They were silently lying on the lush grass of the dungeon floor. They just stared up at the artificial sky of the dungeon ceiling.

Adrian could see the wet streaks of tears on Aria’s face. While Serena didn’t have streaks of salt on her face, she did look pretty sad. As for Claire, she looked pretty much calm from this angle. He couldn’t really see any streaks of dried tears on her face.

But he had a terrible, uneasy feeling in his gut.

No matter who he looked at, they looked... off.

He took another deep breath and looked at the backlog of notifications that the system had shown him a long time ago. The alerts confirmed that Aria had finished explaining everything to them. She had already spilled the secret about his transmigration.

He just did not have the courage to look at the result when it happened.

But he couldn’t hide from this forever. He steeled his heart and exhaled a long breath.

’Okay,’ he thought to the dungeon. ’Show me the result.’

The screen flickered and the system pulled up the recorded memory from a few hours ago.

A few hours ago, Claire and Serena were standing on the grassy lands. They looked at each other with an expression that just said they were completely lost. They had a deeply lost expression on their faces. Their minds were struggling to process the reality-breaking information they had just been fed.
