Chapter 927 - 927: Demon Queen.
"That 'Kid' is an immortal monster, the first ever to be born with the Spatial Attribute on Earth. One that has awakened Aura much like his master, and possesses an enormous amount of mana we can't ever compare to. His body is as tough as steel, and do I need to mention his supposed 'regeneration'?
Sure, it may have limits, but in the end, Alan Peccator is a Dragon, the strongest pure dragon on Earth. Even the entire Obelisk might not be enough to bring him down. Furthermore, reports say that his 'Jade Palace' is a fortress with an army. And this isn't even mentioning the plethora of abilities we don't even know about."
Morgana stood up and walked over to the door.
"Who cares if it's excessive or not? To bring down a Prime, one must always put one's all. I'm willing to take care of the entire Association, not because I'm confident, but because I don't want to fight the one being that is my mortal enemy. That's why I'm leaving it to all of you."
Biokinesis, her identity, would be difficult to employ against Alan Peccator; not only did he have an enormous amount of mana that Morgana would find difficult to match, but he would hardly even give her the chance to employ it.
Alan Peccator was aware of her Unique Skill and would avoid physical combat with Morgana as much as he could. Even if deprived of his teleportation, he was easily capable of being as fast as a modern fighter jet. Furthermore, he could maintain this speed for as long as he wanted, while unleashing a plethora of powerful magic spells that would devastate Morgana.
And he was scary accurate with his magic, too. Morgana could try as much as she wanted, but getting close enough to Alan Peccator in order to utilize Biokinesis was a pipe dream. And even if she could get close enough.
Would she be able to utilize Biokinesis effectively? Absolutely not. Biokinesis required the user to understand the victim's biology to a large degree. Morgana could use it on Humans instantly, but what about a Dragon?
Furthermore, Alan's bloodline would be effectively stopping and regenerating any damage done to his cells. Even if she managed to understand Alan's biology, her chances of fooling a bloodline descending from a Primordial Being were scarce.
And this was merely what Morgana had speculated from all the available information. She was unaware Alan was a Hybrid of the Three Prime Species; his biology was quite literally one in one. She could spend hours and hours studying him, but she wouldn't be able to uncover much.
She knew a human's biology down to the most minute detail, making her capable of using Biokinesis in an instant on a human being, doing whatever she wanted to them. But against someone well aware of her Unique skill due to his master, one capable of insane speeds, as well as a dragon that could cast magic and recover that mana faster than she could recover hers, with a bloodline that would desperately try to resist her to the very end?
She wasn't confident. Not even against other Dragons, someone extremely competent in magic and capable of keeping their distance was her natural enemy. Letting the entire Obelisk deal with him was much better, and if an opportunity arose, she could reap some benefit.
Besides, she wished to deal with the Association as well, or more importantly, Harrison, her schoolmate. She was more suited for that as well, since she had been preparing for it for a long time as well.
"Oh, don't worry too much. I'll be lending you my masterpiece, one I've modified just for him, as well as a thousand Flesh Amalgamations. If need be, you can also activate summoning circles for Duke Varti, Duke Sibual, and especially Marquis Venreti; he has a vendetta against Alan Peccator."
The Three Demons were those closely related to the association. Duke Varti and Duke Sibual remained at the heart of Terra Damnum, close to the Abyssal Portal. They were assigned this position by the Martial Star. Duke Varti was the advisor of the Martial Star, who had unfortunately gotten stuck because of the rules, whilst Duke Sibual was a demon who had just advanced into the rank of SSS in the last five years.
Marquis Venreti was one whose plan had been foiled by Alan Peccator and company, back at the city of Aror.
Since then, when he had recovered, he had arrived in Terra Damnum, leaving the Abyssal Layer, moments before the rules had been implemented. He was stuck here, but the Marquis didn't mind it, itching for the moment he could exact his revenge.
Furthermore, during his short clash with Alan Peccator, Marquis Venreti had discovered that Alan Peccator had demonic blood within him, or at least, an affinity to Chaos! That was an important piece of information to the Obelisk, one they could use to spread propaganda.
Morgana turned to the Demonic Humans at the conference, offered a smile, and said.
"Well then, I have to go, discuss it among yourselves. Oh, and I think you all know what will happen if this information leaks. Bye!"
She closed the door and strode towards her laboratory. The Demonic Humans in the room began to discuss the plan. Keith, however, chose to leave.
"Morgana."
He called out to her. Morgana rolled her eyes, sighing in defeat as she turned around, only to see Keith pointing at another conference room, before entering it. She followed him.
Closing the door behind her, she saw the odd-looking man take a seat, wrapping his odd tail around his waist, and ask.
"What is the little birdy you speak of?"
While the other members didn't dare ask her how she got her information, Keith wasn't as terrified of her as the others, and as the other SSS-rank of the Obelisk, he needed to know about her mysterious source of information.
"Oh, come on, Keith, will you seriously bother me with this? Why not just trust me like every other time?"
"Because this time, we are using everything we have. The Association has been our enemy for the longest time. I want to know why you're so confident that Askolt won't have any powerhouses protecting it."
Askolt was the second most populous city in the world, formerly known as New York. The headquarters of the Association were located there, as well as the headquarters of Twilight; furthermore... Askolt had Shield.
Shield was the top academy in the world; not only did it have promising elite students, but it also had a famous faculty that was full of retired awakened officers, as well as other prominent awakened that were loyal to the greatest threat, The Sage.
Askolt was important because it had The Sage, Oliver Olsfer, one of the few first-generation awakened that still lived, and he who stood at the pinnacle of human magic. Askolt was a fortress simply because that man lived there. But nowadays, another major threat existed there as well, the Sword Saint!
Oliver had chosen a life of peace after the invasions and chose to seclude himself in his little academy, leading newer generations of awakened and demonic humans alike to forget about him, but not the Sword Saint. He was still a living legend who had stories told about him to this very day!
Before Ragnar advanced into an Epic being, Askolt was much safer than the Capitol, the heart of humanity. The Association, Twilight, and most importantly, The Sage, and the Bane of Demons were present there.
Keith, someone from the same generation as those two, was well aware of the power they possessed. In a sense, he would be more ready to attack the Capitol than Askolt!
Even if the Association and Twilight could be ignored... that crazy duo could never be ignored. Keith wanted to know why Morgana was so confident they wouldn't be present.
"Arken and Oliver are the two greatest threats. How are you so confident they won't be there? What is your source of information? Who exactly?"
Keith was all in for the plan, only if Arken and Oliver weren't present. Both had to be away for him to actually be involved.
Morgana stared at the man and clicked her tongue. A tinge of scarlet mana escaped from her body. Keith raised his guard, prepared for any 'outburst'. But the mana served another purpose.
'Chirp!'
The flesh on Morgana's shoulder changed; it wriggled and squirmed to form a little red bird. It was grotesque, but at the same time, strangely beautiful. Keith narrowed his eyes.
"I have two sources of information, which one would you like to know of first?"
Morgana asked, as the little bird on her shoulder chirped once more. It disappeared back into her shoulder. Keith held back the urge to vomit and inquired.
"... The one you believe in more."
Morgana took a seat and revealed her mysterious source of info.
"It's my Unique Skill. My most trusted source of information is my Unique skill. Biokinesis."
"But how?"
