The Poisonous Water Head Child even instinctively sprayed its emerald-green venom on his face, but to no effect. The man simply wiped it away with his massive hand, then chewed on the creature with a smack of his lips and swallowed it.

The internal venom of a Poisonous Water Head Child was potent enough to kill a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice instantly.

"This little green frog still packs a punch. It just likes to piss everywhere, so it stinks a bit," the brawny, bald man said, spitting with a look of disgust.

The corner of the Illusory Dream Wizard’s mouth twitched. No matter how many times he saw it, he still couldn’t stomach the man’s personality and habits.

Looking at the man’s frame, which strained his Golden Wizard Robe to the bursting point, the Illusory Dream Wizard said with a faint smile, "You can go find a disciple like that for yourself, but don’t even think about getting any ideas about mine."

The Divine Blood Wizard pursed his lips. "Who’d want your disciple? He’s not manly at all, not good-looking in the slightest. Just like that face under your mask—ugly as sin."

"He looks so frail. I bet a strong gust of wind would knock him right over."

"The disciple I’m looking for must be just like me: solid muscles, a huge frame, and a love for eating, drinking, fighting, and working."

As he spoke, the Divine Blood Wizard ripped the fabric from his arm and forcefully flexed, his muscles bulging with a golden sheen. He grinned and boomed, "Look at these! Such full muscles! This powerful physique! This is true beauty, true power!"

"It’s best not to have so much hair on your face and head. You need to be more vigorous and masculine, have some manly spirit!" The Divine Blood Wizard rubbed his stubbled cheeks, a simple, hearty smile on his face.

The Illusory Dream Wizard was utterly speechless. ’Muscles, my ass,’ he thought. ’Under that skin, it’s nothing but incredibly hard mechanical structures. I’d be shocked if you could find even ten percent flesh and blood on his entire body.’

"Can we get to the real business now? Maintaining your true form in the Illusory Dream Garden is no small drain on my power," the Illusory Dream Wizard said flatly.

"I need you to do me a favor." The Divine Blood Wizard’s tone became serious. "My disciple, Tota, is preparing to advance to Official Wizard."

"Fine, I agree." The Illusory Dream Wizard already knew what the man was going to ask.

In the entire Dark Land, he was the only one with the ability to provide assistance on a conscious level during the advancement process.

However, this could also have negative consequences. An advancement interfered with by an outsider was an incomplete one. Even if successful, the new Wizard’s power would be at the very bottom of the ranks of Official Wizards.

It would also be difficult for them to progress any further on their Wizard Path.

Generally speaking, Extreme Wizard Apprentices would never choose such a method. They all had their pride.

The Wizard Path was meant to be walked alone, not with the help of others.

Even if the advancement failed, it was a test of their own path, and they would have no regrets.

The Illusory Dream Wizard pictured a brawny Wizard, one who bore many similarities to the Divine Blood Wizard and followed the same path he had walked. ’It seems the Divine Blood Wizard doesn’t have much hope in that Extreme Wizard Apprentice, Tota, advancing on his own. That must be why he’s come to me.’

"But you should know the consequences of an outsider interfering during the advancement. The chance of failure is still significant."

"I’m aware of that. Just do your best."

The Divine Blood Wizard sighed. "I’ll owe you one."

"Your disciple doesn’t have a suitable Extraordinary Witchcraft Artifact, does he? You can have him come find me at the Divine Blood Tower. I’ll custom-make one for him."

The Illusory Dream Wizard’s lips curved into a smile beneath his doodled mask with its wooden eyes.

"Deal!"

"When will he begin the advancement?"

"In three months!"
