The Wizard's Pursuit of Truth
Chapter 302: Open the Black Sun Ruins, Infect and Replace Komore
Komore was utterly shocked. He had never imagined his Ten Thousand Tribulations Particle Energy could be blocked in such a way by a Wizard of the same Level.
The tips of their blades collided. No matter how the Ten Thousand Tribulations Particle Energy tried to corrode it, the seemingly tattered longsword remained unchanged, at most spluttering with a few sparks.
The wrist holding the Thousand Flower Sword began to strain.
Komore looked at his opponent, as if trying to see through the White Lotus Mask and get a clear look at Wang Ya’s face.
“How in the world did you do that?!”
A drop of cold sweat trickled from his forehead, only to be vaporized by the extreme heat.
Komore received no answer. He took a deep breath and suddenly disengaged. As his opponent’s sword slashed down, Komore’s figure vanished.
Wang Ya’s figure vanished along with him.
CLANG!
Komore was sent flying backward by the force, his Thousand Flower Sword blocking his opponent’s strike.
He had just managed to stabilize himself when he saw the black-robed figure step through the Void, swinging his blade for a decapitating strike.
‘Damn it!’
Komore’s brow furrowed. ‘This guy is a handful.’
‘Does he think he can beat me like this?
What a joke.’
Komore’s heart of a warrior, dormant for one hundred and twenty years, began to burn once more.
Fighting spirit flared in his eyes, and his grip on the Thousand Flower Sword tightened.
He met the attack head-on.
The sound of clashing metal rang out once more.
The resulting force blasted into the surrounding void, causing a massive sonic boom and shockwave.
Komore could no longer see his opponent’s figure with his naked eye, but his Extraordinary Spiritual Power could sense the direction of the attacks.
Relying on his combat instincts, Komore was still able to react.
The Thousand Flower Sword and his opponent’s scorched-black long blade clashed continuously. The two figures weaved past each other again and again, and the spray of sparks grew from a few glints to fill the entire sky above Licorice Camp.
Below were burning flames, ruined debris, the sounds of fleeing Wizards, and the constant roars of beasts… The fluctuations of Energy Particles from the battles raging elsewhere were even more powerful and intense than their own aerial battlefield.
The more Komore fought, the more alarmed he became. His opponent’s Power had actually reached such a level.
His Particle Energy was comparable to his own, but his combat instincts, experience, and even his control over the battle’s rhythm were all terrifyingly strong.
This was a terrifyingly powerful rival.
Komore let out a long breath. His energy wings vibrated slightly, and he paused mid-air, his gaze fixed on the black-robed figure who was also standing in the Void.
Both sides stopped in unison, but this did not mean their battle was over.
Instead, they were adjusting their State, stabilizing the Particle Energy within their bodies while also contemplating their next move.
Their Biological Force Fields were already released, vying for a geographical advantage in an attempt to gain even a slight edge in the battle’s rhythm.
This was a situation that could only occur between two evenly matched Wizards where the outcome was difficult to determine.
The instinctual desire for battle within Komore was thoroughly ignited by such a high-intensity fight, and a look of exhilaration appeared on his face.
“I don’t know what method you used to block my Ten Thousand Tribulations Particle Energy, but I can’t deny it—you’ve earned my respect.”
“It’s truly rare to find a Wizard of our Level in the Outer Zone. Even in the Black Tower, your Power would place you in the top ten among Level 3 Wizard Apprentices.”
Komore ripped off his tattered Wizard Robe, revealing powerful, muscular shoulders. His golden hair fell loosely, and his sharp, spirited eyes blazed with fighting intent.
“But that’s as far as it goes. I’ll show you the Power of the strongest Level 3 Wizard Apprentice from the Black Tower.”
Though Komore’s words were arrogant, his expression was serious. It was clear he was taking Wang Ya very seriously.
‘His Particle Energy is just ordinary, yet it can resist my Ten Thousand Tribulations Particle Energy. That in itself is no simple feat.’
Komore’s gaze fixed on the blade of the Shadow Slayer Blade. ‘The problem is that sword. Its temperature is high, but it’s actually not as hot as some Fire Element Witchcraft.’
‘And the temperature seems to be directed into the blade itself; it’s absorbing heat.’
‘He’s pouring all his Particle Energy into that blade and using some special method to make the Particle Energy stack.’
‘Fire Elemental Particles are extremely volatile by nature. Stacking them would lead to violent, chaotic reactions… This kind of power is terrifying, and the longer it’s sustained, the greater the kinetic energy and impulse it generates.’
Komore could grasp some of the principles, but he still couldn’t understand how his opponent managed to stabilize the violent reaction of the Fire Element Particle Energy.
‘Or rather, how he controls that power. If anything goes wrong, a massive explosion would occur, and the resulting Witchcraft Level would be powerful enough to kill the Caster instantly.’
“Burning Fire Attachment,” Wang Ya said, his eyes on the blade of his Shadow Slayer Blade.
‘As expected of a Wizard from the Black Tower,’ Wang Ya thought. ‘His insight is terrifying. Even though he’s not a Fire Element Wizard, he was able to figure out the principles and patterns of my Witchcraft.’
‘But he only got it half-right.’
What Wang Ya was doing was far more radical and exaggerated than his opponent imagined.
The Super High-Temperature Cluster Particle Wave Witchcraft could instantly release a Fire Element Bundle Beam with a temperature of 500,000.
His Combined Witchcraft, the Wheel of Cause and Effect, could reach a temperature of around two million, with an even more terrifying Witchcraft Level.
What if such a terrifying temperature were concentrated onto the blade of a sword?
What kind of horrifying result would that bring?
What kind of power would it display?
Based on this insane idea, Wang Ya had created such a High-tier Witchcraft.
