The Wizard's Pursuit of Truth
Chapter 332 Duoguyin's Shock, Wang Ya Is Comparable to a Legendary Great Wizard
Wang Ya’s eyes held an unprecedented fighting spirit.
All his years of accumulation and hardship… this was a battle to validate his Wizard Path.
At the same time, this was also a probe for Wang Ya. Ever since discovering the problem with the Law Enforcement Wizard Robe through his Eye of Truth, he had started connecting the dots on many things.
There was no doubt that a major problem had occurred within the Dark Land.
‘He even suspected that the recent problems with long-distance teleportation might be related to this as well.’
The mission itself had now become secondary.
Whoever was capable of this must have made thorough preparations long before any of this happened.
‘White Lake Wizard City is doomed to fall… Every member of the Dark Hand has been tricked. What does that even mean?’ Recalling it now, Wang Ya felt a suffocating pressure, his heart pounding in his chest.
‘There’s a mole among the high-ranking members at headquarters!’
From now on, the main priority was to survive within White Lake Wizard City, or to escape it.
Alternatively, his only hope was to wait for reinforcements from the Dark Hand.
Of course, validating his Wizard Path was also part of his goal.
Wang Ya’s gaze passed through the holes of his Black Lotus Mask, landing on Duoguyin, who stood at the center of the Biological Force Field.
‘She is the perfect touchstone.’
She would allow Wang Ya to gain a more accurate assessment of his current Power.
….
The Biological Force Field Duoguyin unleashed was terrifying, fully demonstrating the Power of an Extreme Wizard Apprentice. Infused with over forty points of Extraordinary Spiritual Power, it granted the field the Ability to influence reality and destroy matter and Energy.
A Level 3 Wizard Apprentice could already form Spiritual Telekinesis to distort and control their surroundings.
Right now, Duoguyin was dozens of times more terrifying than Rilis.
The Biological Force Field enveloped a hundred-meter radius. Every building, wall, and lingering Witch Array Technique—even the countermeasures Wang Ya had prepared, the Dream Seeds he had planted—was utterly obliterated.
A circular area of ruin and rubble now spread out from Duoguyin’s position. Sunlight streamed down from outside, illuminating the chaotic landscape in a truly shocking scene.
“What a pointless little trick,” Duoguyin sneered. Then, as the burst from her Biological Force Field subsided, she noticed the black particle waves resuming their original piercing speed.
A flash of shock crossed her eyes. ‘You have to be kidding me! An explosion of that magnitude didn’t even nullify those dozen or so beams of black particle clusters? They could even generate their own kinetic energy to accelerate again. What the hell is this monstrous thing?’
Duoguyin was genuinely stunned. Her attack had turned everything within a hundred-meter radius to rubble; it could have completely nullified even a torrent of Witchcraft.
She couldn’t unleash another blast like that again so soon.
Her body was incredibly agile and her Speed had reached its peak, allowing her to dodge all the attacks just in time.
As a Bloodline Wizard, her physical prowess was not much inferior to that of a typical Blood Wizard.
In fact, she had supplementary training in the Extraordinary Knowledge of the Blood Wizard Path and had performed physical modifications on her entire body.
Carried by gravity and inertia, Duoguyin slowly descended onto the rubble-strewn ground.
Completely naked, she stepped barefoot onto the rubble. Some of the stones were incredibly sharp, yet they couldn’t harm her in the slightest.
Her entire field of vision switched to a state of thermal imaging, a sense that could perceive various special, hidden Realms.
“Found you, Wang Ya Harak.”
Using her special thermal vision, Duoguyin located a black-robed figure standing motionless within the Shadow Realm. He wore a Black Lotus Mask, and a blurry, bird-like shadow rested on his shoulder.
All the details matched.
A grim, murderous intent filled her eyes. She was now starting to believe Rilis’s report. Wang Ya Harak’s potential had indeed reached a level where he could threaten the Natural Ring Tower.
She reflected on how little time had passed. It had been little more than a decade since Rilis’s failed mission—barely twenty years at most.
Yet in that time, his Power had already risen to that of a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice, and he was putting this much pressure on her.
If Wang Ya Harak were given more time, it was truly impossible to estimate how powerful he would become.
Duoguyin herself didn’t even realize that she had already begun to treat Wang Ya as an equal. Her thoughts even drifted to decades in the future, to entering the Dark Secret Realm and encountering him again… ‘I have to eliminate this guy beforehand.’ Duoguyin’s killing intent soared. The Particle Energy within her body instantly activated her bloodline’s Talent Ability. Opening her small, purple-lipstick-coated mouth, she spewed a massive cloud of purple gas. The gas instantly enveloped the entire area, flooding toward Wang Ya’s position and even blanketing the sky, creating something akin to a field of miasma or poison.
Wang Ya’s eyes twitched. Beneath his Black Lotus Mask, an eerie smile crept across his face.
