Chapter 392: Chapter 188: 10 Days, 40 Million in Profit, 4000% Return

The plan was to make a tidy sum from this game, and then officially start hiring to develop the next one.

Besides, as long as the game made enough money, their 50% cut would still be a substantial amount.

"Don’t let that ad incentive money go to waste. Use all of it to keep buying more traffic."

Chen Mo nodded. Then, as if remembering something, he instructed Jiang Huiyang.

You couldn’t withdraw the ad incentive money anyway; it could only be used to buy traffic on the platform.

Even though their DAU already hit five million yesterday and was projected to reach nine million today, they still needed to buy the traffic they could.

They had to max out their exposure in the shortest time possible.

This mini-game had attracted tons of players with its unique features and highlights.

The creative leaderboard system also fired up everyone’s collective sense of pride.

But at the end of the day, it was just a tile-matching mini-game. No matter how innovative, its life cycle wouldn’t be long.

It would probably peak within a week and then start to decline.

So time was precious right now. If they had the resources to promote it, they shouldn’t waste them.

"Yes, President Chen. That’s what we were thinking too."

Jiang Huiyang nodded repeatedly in agreement.

After that, they discussed several other promotional methods in the conference room.

For instance, using the money on their books to pay some TikTok bloggers for promotion.

Once the discussion was over, Jiang Huiyang took his team and got back to work.

Chen Mo, meanwhile, returned to his office. Xu Xiyue followed him inside.

CLICK.

Xu Xiyue expertly closed the door and followed him over to his desk.

After Chen Mo sat down in his office chair, she gracefully settled onto his lap, sitting sideways.

As her sweet fragrance washed over him, Chen Mo smiled faintly and wrapped an arm gently around her slender waist.

"What is it?"

Chen Mo leaned down and planted a kiss on her exquisite cheek.

"Thank you for giving me the project."

Xu Xiyue wrapped her slender arms around Chen Mo’s neck. Her captivating, watery eyes gazed at him as she whispered in his ear, her breath as sweet as an orchid.

The project’s success was within reach, and it was a project Chen Mo had told her to invest in from the very beginning.

And if this project succeeded, she could finally prove to everyone that she wasn’t a jinx.

That her investments weren’t doomed to fail.

It was all thanks to Chen Mo.

Chen Mo hadn’t just saved her life on that rooftop; he had saved her from ruin.

She was grateful to Chen Mo from the bottom of her heart.

"Is this how you thank me?"

A playful smile curled on his lips as he grew hard. He looked at her and chuckled.

"Of course not."

A seductive glint flashed in Xu Xiyue’s eyes as she slowly rose from his lap.

CLINK.

Just then, Chen Mo ’accidentally’ dropped a pen on the floor.

"Pick up that pen for me."

Chen Mo grinned and patted her shapely bottom, giving her a knowing look.

"Mhm."

A look of understanding appeared on Xu Xiyue’s exquisite face, and she rolled her eyes at him.

Still, she obediently crouched down to pick up the pen for him.

Chen Mo glanced at the desk, which had been replaced. It now had a modesty panel in the front.

The space underneath was also quite high, so someone crouching down to pick up a pen wouldn’t bump their head.

This ensured Xu Xiyue wouldn’t bump her head while retrieving the pen, creating the perfect ’pen-retrieving’ environment for her.

...

Perhaps Xu Xiyue’s eyesight wasn’t very good. Or maybe it was because she wasn’t wearing her glasses, or the office lighting was just too dim.

In any case, she was crouched down searching for that pen for a very long time, yet she couldn’t seem to find it.

It took a very, very long time before she finally picked the pen up off the floor for Chen Mo.

"President Chen, I’ve got your pen. I’ll... head back to work now?"

Xu Xiyue placed the pen on the desk, a faint blush coloring her exquisite face.

"Yes, go on."

"Once this project becomes a massive hit, let’s have the company throw a celebration party."

Chen Mo smiled and nodded. Then, as if remembering something, he gave her a profound, knowing look.

"Okay. I understand."

Hearing this, Xu Xiyue looked at Chen Mo with her captivating eyes, her crimson lips pressed together as she gave a slight nod.

She knew what Chen Mo meant.

The night of the celebration party... that would be the night she would offer herself to him.

She wasn’t opposed to the idea. Chen Mo had given her a successful project; she would sleep with him in return.

It was a deal they had made on the rooftop.

Forget just sleeping with him—as long as her future projects were successful, she would belong to Chen Mo for life.

He could do whatever he wanted with her.

Chen Mo had saved both her life and her future. With her family gone, he was the only person she could rely on in this world.

Watching Xu Xiyue’s enchanting figure retreat from his office, Chen Mo couldn’t help but break into a smile of anticipation.

The main event wasn’t the celebration party itself, but the ’private celebration’ that would follow.

Sitting in his office, Chen Mo started scrolling through his phone.

He checked his Friends Circle and saw that many of his old classmates were sharing a link to the game.

Even Wei Luyao had sent him the link, telling him he should try the game.

She had no idea it was a game his company had invested in; she just thought it looked fun and wanted him to play it with her.

According to her, her entire law firm was obsessed with it.

He checked social media and discovered that *Fruit Fruit* was even trending!

And it had more than one trending topic, in fact.
