The frantic cries of the people running around slowly brought a smile to Grace’s face. Even though she had been unable to gain any additional powers due to constant interference, this time she was certain she would succeed. Grace was confident that her participation in handling these demonic beasts would earn her more heroine points, and soon she would be able to create a dimensional ring!

The next power she was set to receive, which would further the storyline, was the ability to "create dimensional rings." Although this power was not useful in combat, it would bring immense wealth to the Fronda family. Every family, even the Ares Kingdom, would turn their attention to them.

This was a skill no one else could master except her, even Professor Lucien would be astonished, and his interest in her would double. Prince Jason would also show her more respect. "My lady, please stay inside. The situation outside is very dangerous."

"I know, that’s why I’m coming out to help."

"What? Are you trying to stop me? Aren’t the demonic beasts rampaging? Don’t you know I have the ability to deal with them!? Do you want to see more losses?" Grace snapped irritably. She wanted to go out and follow the storyline to earn heroine points, but they were blocking her way!

This wasn’t the Ares Kingdom, where she had to be careful about everything. This was the Rhea Kingdom, in the Fronda family. Here, she could do anything, and everything had always gone smoothly. What right did they have to stop her now!?

"My lady, we know the extent of your powers, but many major families have already bought demonic beast-slaying weapons from the Setter family. There’s no need for you to take the risk," the soldiers insisted, still blocking her path despite her angry outburst.

Recently, the Fronda family’s fighters had to work hard to compensate the Ares Kingdom. Everyone knew it was because of this young lady, so while they showed her respect, there was no real fear in their demeanor. They were just performing their duties as servants. It was no surprise that when an issue arose, they didn’t value her words at all.

Grace was stunned by their response, and her anger slowly turned her face red. If it wasn’t for the fact that participating in these events would earn her points, did they think she would willingly risk her life like this!?

"Are you not listening to me?" Her voice was icy. Usually, Grace always acted wisely and intelligently, but this time was different. She knew that if she missed this opportunity, she would never be able to deal with this issue again. After that, her life would be miserable and pathetic. Because of this, she would do whatever it took!

Normally, she wasn’t a kind-hearted person. What she had shown before was just a facade. The young woman had been acting all her life, and it had become a part of her nature. However, occasionally, her true nature would surface, like when that "close friend" discovered the truth. To prevent the other party from retaliating later, Grace had to strike first.

Grace’s initial intention was to drive the other party to the point where she couldn’t continue living in this world. In a world where words could pierce like needles, that friend should have been unable to endure and ultimately taken her own life.

She had seen many news of students trying to end their lives due to pressure in the classroom, and that was Grace’s intention. The only regret was that time was too short. "Hmm? What is this? Insufficient magic power? Then what should I do?" Grace paused slightly. Although this was her first time killing someone without the other party being poisoned, she didn’t feel scared at all. Her heart was already filled with darkness...

Grace stabbed a knife into the soldier’s chest, causing his eyes to widen in shock. Confusion filled his gaze. Even though he was protecting everyone, why was the family’s young lady killing him like this!?

Several of his fellow soldiers stepped back in fear. If it were someone else, they would have dealt with the threat immediately. But this was the young lady of the family. It couldn’t be that she was poisoned by demonic toxin, as she had the power to cleanse such toxins. So, they could only watch as their comrade slowly fell to the ground, his soul being ripped out to be imprisoned forever!

"M-My lady..."

"Why? You all don’t want me to go outside, do you?" Grace smiled sweetly, looking innocent, but the scene of her killing just moments ago left them all terrified.

As Grace stepped forward, the soldiers stepped back. This continued until she realized they no longer intended to stop her. She chuckled softly and then walked away.

"Thank you for understanding. I’m not going out for myself at all; I’m going to save others." Grace’s parting words were chilling, causing the soldiers’ hair to stand on end. Some even felt that this young lady was more frightening than the demonic beasts!

Grace went outside, filled with hope. She was ready to fight the demonic beasts and make a name for herself. However, upon stepping out, she found that there were more than 10 demonic beasts causing havoc. She didn’t know what had happened, why they had suddenly appeared in such numbers. Her brows furrowed, but she wasn’t afraid. According to the storyline, her powers were enough to defeat these demonic beasts. Still, Grace didn’t want to work too hard.

Hard work was meant for laborers!

The young woman walked around, noticing that someone was indeed using weapons to kill the demonic beasts, just as the soldiers had mentioned. Grace already knew that the Setter family, where the heroine’s golden leg lived in, was highly skilled and specialized. She couldn’t remember if they could create such weapons in the story, but she knew they were expensive. So, if she could deal with the demonic beasts without them using too many weapons, wouldn’t that be better?

However, as Grace was about to turn and fight a demonic beast in front of her, she realized that things weren’t going to be as easy for the heroine as she had thought. Even though it was just a small demonic beast, it was incredibly fast, darting left and right, leaving Grace with numerous small wounds. Grace had never experienced such pain before; she had never known that these injuries could be real!

In her previous life, the world had been peaceful. At most, she had only gone to the hospital for a diarrhea and usually didn’t even need to stay overnight. She never expected her smooth, happy life to encounter something like this.

Grace was not a fighter, nor had she ever trained in combat. Even though Professor Lucien had always told her to read the manuals, who could understand such things!? She usually skimmed through books without paying much attention. Books and Grace had never gotten along, so how could she have any knowledge of combat?

"Ah!! Get away, you beasts!!" The demonic beasts, seeing that Grace was not strong, toyed with her. They inflicted many wounds on her, making her furious.

"Die already! Soul Seizure skill!! Soul Seizure skill!! Soul Seizure skill!!" She repeatedly used her black magic power, but as mentioned earlier, the demonic beasts were very fast. They could easily dodge her attacks. Grace ran towards the crowd, feeling that killing humans would be easier. Of course, that was because the humans she had killed before were in no position to fight back.

According to the storyline, Grace should have already learned a lot from Professor Lucien by now. This event was meant for her to showcase her skills from her training. Unfortunately, Grace was still too lazy to put in the effort herself. Whether it was studying, working, or anything else, she always avoided putting in the work and managed to get by. The Fronda family who were fighting were shocked to see the young lady running towards them and were momentarily stunned. However, their duty was to protect the important members of the Fronda family, so they had to fight the beasts while also protecting Lady Grace. Fortunately, the power wasn’t very strong, or maybe it was because they had more magic power. The result was that they felt a tightness in their chests and fell down, though luckily not dead.

or 4 soldiers collapsed under Grace’s hand. The demonic beasts jumped around while Grace released her power, missing them entirely and disrupting the soldiers’ combat formation.

"Stop!! Stop immediately!!" The head of the Fronda family yelled, his belly shaking with anger. If it weren’t a life-and-death situation, he would have slapped his daughter right then and there!!
