This Is What a Villain Is Like
Chapter 325 - 124: No Right to Forgive You, the Grudges Must Be Settled Tonight, a Myriad of Pains (Part 2)
As she brought her palm down, boundless Heaven and Earth Essence Qi converged. The fractured mountain peaks and the rising water vapor all seemed to spring to life.
As her palm descended, they shattered and reformed again and again, coalescing into an enormous, glistening white hand. It blotted out the heavens, materializing in the night sky. The moment it struck, she resembled a flawless, jade-boned female immortal intent on annihilating an entire world.
In the face of such an aura, forget a mere mountain range—even an entire city would have been blown apart and pulverized.
Powerful. So powerful it plunged one into despair.
At that moment, the same horrified thought arose in the minds of all the Tributors and retainers from the Prime Minister’s Mansion.
Even the expressions of the three Seventh Realm experts, who were lying in wait for an opportunity to strike, flickered with change. They couldn’t even muster the will to resist.
RRRIP...
A hazy Grand Array was torn apart in an instant. The figures seated cross-legged in the Void coughed up blood one after another and plummeted downwards. The great banners arranged in the four directions trembled, snapped with a CRACK, their surfaces obliterated as they exploded outright.
Jiang Ruxian watched this unfold, her gaze remaining utterly unchanged.
The torrential downpour was endless, falling from high above as if the celestial river had burst its banks. It formed a vast curtain of rain that plunged the entire world into pitch-black darkness.
In the vast, deep night, an occasional bolt of lightning would flash across the sky, illuminating the surroundings.
Suddenly, she seemed to notice something. Her gaze shifted, and she could seemingly see a tall, slender figure in white standing atop a distant cliff, quietly watching everything unfold.
"Ah... Lan..."
On Jiang Ruxian’s jade-like face, blurred and veiled by a hazy glow, her red lips parted gently, as if she wanted to voice those two words.
But at that moment, an indescribable, stabbing pain and sorrow emanated from her heart.
She raised a hand to her chest, as if she could see that distant figure’s indifferent gaze through the curtain of rain. The pain in her heart only intensified.
’You... really want to kill me...?’ she murmured, as if she wanted to walk toward him.
"Protect the Young Master."
Seeing this, Mr. Chu, Daoist Qingxu, and Jiang He—the three who had been holding back in the shadows—could finally restrain themselves no longer.
Their figures vanished, each unleashing their own techniques and domains to stop Jiang Ruxian.
Amidst the downpour, the light grew even more brilliant. Mr. Chu produced an Ancient Talisman that pulsed with a mysterious aura.
The entire mountain range seemed to awaken. The ground rumbled and cracked open, spewing forth crimson flames that even the torrential rain could not extinguish.
Daoist Qingxu waved his duster, channeling the Heaven and Earth Void Qi as he chanted an incantation. He then splayed his fingers, calling down true heavenly lightning. It manifested as a series of crackling, sparking purple Divine Dragons that charged toward Jiang Ruxian.
As for Jiang He, he let out a furious roar like a king of ten thousand demons. His cry was like thunder, a sound so profound it bordered on silence. Mountain after mountain shattered under the force of his roar, turning to dust.
The sight of three Seventh Realm experts attacking in unison was absolutely breathtaking.
That terrifying and boundless power would have been enough to instantly kill any Sixth Realm cultivator, causing them to explode into a bloody mist.
Yet, facing the combined assault of all three, Jiang Ruxian didn’t even turn her head. The deluge of rain seemed to part before her, held back by an invisible domain.
Their Divine Power Techniques couldn’t even get close to her, as if they had been shunted into another dimension entirely.
’Immune to All Laws...’
Daoist Qingxu’s expression changed. A shudder of horror ran through him as he finally understood why Jiang Lan had been so cautious, warning them not to underestimate her.
This mysterious woman’s power was terrifying, simply heaven-defying. She was an absolute monster.
With such a talent, she was Innately invincible. Forget about those with lower cultivation; even experts of the same realm would be utterly suppressed by her.
PUFF...
It was only then that Jiang Ruxian seemed to notice the three ambushing her from behind.
But she didn’t turn around. Her gaze remained fixed on the figure atop the distant cliff as she merely waved a sleeve behind her, as if shooing away a buzzing fly.
BOOM! A terrifying force of immeasurable weight erupted, and the Void shuddered, tearing like a sheet of paper.
"What...?"
"Impossible..."
The faces of Mr. Chu, Daoist Qingxu, and Jiang He contorted. A searing pain shot through their chests, as if they had been struck head-on by a terrifying mountain. Countless ribs shattered in an instant, their organs shifted, and they spat out mouthfuls of blood as they were sent flying.
They were utterly horrified, finding it impossible to believe.
Before Jiang Ruxian, they were no different from Sixth Realm cultivators. A single, casual blow was all it took to wound them.
BOOM!!!
The mountains trembled. The rain grew even more torrential as dark clouds rolled in, pressing down one after another. The world was plunged into a deep, profound darkness, with only occasional flashes of lightning illuminating small patches of the land.
Jiang Ruxian remembered the day her Seven-Aperture Exquisite Heart had been carved out. On that day, too, a torrential rain had fallen from the sky just like this.
In the depths of the forest, lightning had struck down and the rain had fallen hard and fast. She had been buried in the muddy earth. If that downpour hadn’t washed the soil away, she would never have been saved by that old woman...
’Is tonight’s rain, so similar to that day, a premonition of some kind?’
Her steps toward the cliff faltered for a moment, but in the next instant, they became even more resolute.
’She hadn’t yet decided how to face Jiang Lan. Over the past while, her mind had often drifted to fantasies of their reunion in this life.’
