Chapter 326: Chapter 326: hotel II

Christopher smiled faintly at her question, he removed his coat and draped it neatly over the back of an armchair. His calm demeanor never wavered, but the heat in his gray eyes burned hotter now that the door was closed behind them.

He didn’t answer with words. Instead, he crossed the space between them, his frame instantly commanding her attention. He reached out, his long fingers gently taking her coat from her hands to set it aside. Without breaking eye contact, he leaned down and captured her lips in a deep, slow kiss.

Vivienne’s breath hitched, but her body instantly reacted to him. Her hands came up to rest against his broad chest, her fingers curling into his shirt as she kissed him back, completely surrendering to the warm, intoxicating rhythm of his mouth.

Christopher broke the kiss just enough to trail his lips down to her jawline. In one fluid motion, he slipped one arm beneath her knees and the other behind her back, lifting her up into a princess carry.

Vivienne gasped softly, her arms instinctively wrapping around his neck to hold on tight. Christopher carried her effortlessly out of the sitting area and pushed open the door to the bedroom.

The plush king-sized bed sat bathed in the soft glow of the ambient lights. Christopher walked over and laid her down gently against the crisp white sheets.

He first removed her heels, then he leaned over her, his hands gathering the hem of her white sleeveless dress. Slowly, deliberately, he pulled the fabric up over her hips and waist, peeling it over her head and setting it aside.

Left in only her matching white lace bra and knickers, Vivienne felt her breath leave her in a sharp rush. Her chest heaved softly, her full breasts spilling over the delicate lace. Her waist was narrow, her skin smooth and pale under the soft lighting. She was a breathtaking sight.

Christopher stepped back for just a moment to strip off his own clothes. He unbuttoned his shirt, letting it fall to the carpet, exposing the broad, lean muscle of his chest and shoulders. When his hands moved to unbuckle his belt to slide his trousers down, Vivienne’s face burned a fiery crimson.

Overwhelmed by the sudden, blazing reality of what was happening, she instinctively raised both hands to cover her face, hiding her burning cheeks behind her palms.

A low, rich chuckle echoed from Christopher’s chest at her reaction.

"Shy?" he murmured softly.

He knelt on the mattress, crawling over her until his shadow blocked out the room. Reaching down, he gently pulled her wrists away from her face, though she still tried to squeeze her eyes shut.

With practiced ease, he unhooked her bra and pulled the delicate white straps down her arms, letting her full breasts spring free.

Her nipples were pale, delicate pink, hardening instantly in the cool air. Christopher’s breath hitched. He couldn’t resist. His large palm slid up her ribs, his fingers curving around her breast to cup its soft weight, squeezing gently before leaning down to take her peak into his mouth.

He suckled deeply, his tongue flicking over the sensitive tip in warm, wet swirls before shifting his focus to give the other side the exact same attention.

"Ah... mmm..." A soft, helpless moan escaped Vivienne’s lips. Her hands covered her face again due to some embarassment, but her back arched slightly into his touch, her hips shifting against the mattress.

Christopher drifted his hand lower, his broad palm resting against her stomach before his fingers slid beneath the elastic of her wet lace panties. He felt the slick, unmistakable heat radiating from her core.

Yet, as he stroked her, he noticed the way her body remained somewhat guarded, her face still partially hidden, her breath coming in fast, nervous hitches.

A sudden thought paused him.

Christopher slowed his movements, looking down at her flushed face. He knew she wasn’t pushing him away, and her body was clearly responding to him, but why was she acting so intensely shy? Was he taking advantage of the moment? Was she only allowing this because he was her boyfriend now and she felt obligated to yield to him? Or... was this simply her very first time, and she didn’t know how to handle the sheer intensity of it?

He wanted her desperately, but he needed to be sure.

Resting his weight on his elbows beside her head, Christopher looked down at her.

Vivienne felt him stop what he was doing that his eyes were on her.

She felt flustered still but she still moved her hands so that they were no longer covering her eyes.

Their eyes met.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?"

Vivienne swallowed. "What... is it?"

Christopher exhaled. Then softly, he asked.

"Is this your first time?"

His voice grounded and serious.

Vivienne’s eyes snapped open in complete shock. The question sent a fresh wave of embarrassment crashing over her. Oh my god, she thought, her stomach twisting with self-consciousness. He thinks I’m an innocent virgin because I’m acting like a complete mess!

She felt mortified that her intense shyness was making her look like a total novice when she wasn’t.

Panicked that he might judge her or think she was playing games, she quickly shook her head, her voice small and slightly breathless.

"No... it’s not... but I, I’m not one who just does this with whoever. I just... did this with one other person... uhm..."

She hesitated, her cheeks burning.

"Do you mind?"

She held her breath, suddenly terrified that he might care—or worse, that he’d think it was strange for her to be acting this shy when she wasn’t a virgin.

Christopher stared at her for a brief second before the tension in his shoulders visibly relaxed. It wasn’t particularly surprising to him; he knew she had been engaged to Anthony, even if it was just an arranged family agreement, so it made sense.

"It’s not my first as well," Christopher replied, his tone entirely honest and steady. "So why would I mind?"

He didn’t mind her past. If anything, realizing her shyness wasn’t out of fear or ignorance, but simply a conscious, sweet vulnerability reserved for him, made something tighten pleasantly in his chest.

That aside, what mattered to him was that she had answered him honestly.

She could have avoided the question.

Instead, she had simply told him the truth.

And he appreciated that.

He leaned down, brushing a stray lock of golden hair away from her damp forehead, his eyes searching hers with gentle certainty.

"So... are you okay with this?"

Vivienne looked up into his calm, reassuring gaze. All her lingering overthinking melted away, replaced by the deep, undeniable pulse of heat pooling between her thighs.

She gave a small, clear nod.

"Yes."

A gentle smile touched Christopher’s lips.

He could see that she was still shy, still nervous, but she also wanted this.
