Transmigrated Villianess: I am the mistress to three Beasts Lords
Chapter 62: The Dragon Bloodline.
VIVIAN
The grav ship was tilted sideways. Not slightly. Completely sideways. The wind carried some low level students down as it moved.
Vivian grabbed the wall as the entire ship groaned around her.
"AAAAAH!"
Students were screaming everywhere. Some were crawling along the walls.
Others clung desperately to the metallic pillars. It was like their end was coming.
Several students activated their abilities, creating wind barriers and clouds around themselves to keep from being blown away.
Soldiers were shouting over the chaos.
"STAY TOGETHER!"
"DO NOT LOSE YOUR PARTNERS!"
"GRAB THE HANDRAILS!"
"STAY IN YOUR TEAMS!"
Vivian looked around frantically. She couldn’t see anyone familiar.
Where is Herbert? Where is Serial? Where is Arin?
The transport ship was enormous, and the restroom was far away from the area where her team had gathered.
The wind suddenly tripled in strength.
Students holding onto the metallic pillars were ripped away instantly. The chaos had doubled. Vivian saw people’s souls leaving their bodies. She is a zero class female. How can she survive this one?
She closed her eyes tight. She wondered. "Why do I always have bad luck? Nothing good happens around me!! Am I a jinx? Or is the book Author tormenting me because I refused to die.
"AHHHHH!" A student screamed as she fell with the wind. Her body disappeared into the darkness below.
Vivian’s eyes widened as the wind carried her pushing her down with the other girl. She instantly grabbed the doorframe with both hands.
Her fingers were already slipping.
What is down there?
She looked beneath the tilted floor.
There was nothing. Just an endless darkness. It looked like a void. The wind coming from it was pulling others down.
Falling into it meant certain death.
Vivian swallowed.
So much for surviving this mission. If I survived this one I will know I am the CHOSEN ONE TO SAVE THE WORLD!!
Beeny rolled her eyes. Chosen one? Didn’t you say you weren’t?
Vivian shut her ears tight ignoring Beeny.
She had barely survived Ina.
Now the entire ship was collapsing.
She tightened her grip.
Inside her consciousness, Beeny suddenly began trembling."V...V..ivian!"
Her voice was unusually frightened. "You have to find a way to escape right now!"
Vivian gritted her teeth. "Why?"
Beeny’s voice became serious. "It’s a Zerg Beast."
Vivian’s eyes widened. "What?"
"A Zerg Beast is controlling the wind!"
Vivian stared into the darkness.
"Zerg? What the hell? Where is it? I thought Zerg are insects not beasts.? "
She almost shouted out. "Why is one of your people here?!"
"I don’t know! I just sensed it. It’s a 4S rank Zerg beast. You CAN’T fight it!."
Beeny sounded panicked. "But you have to get away!"
Vivian looked toward the students being swept away. "What do I do?"
"You can use the Lotus Root!"
Beeny quickly explained. "Throw the root into the roof of the ship!"
"It will anchor itself. Then you can climb down!"
Vivian looked upward.
The ceiling was now the floor. The Lotus Root could probably save her.
She could escape. She could survive.
But then...Vivian remembered the others.
What about everyone else?
She closed her eyes.
Arin is somewhere on this ship.
Serial is here too.
She hesitated.
And Herbert...
Her mouth twitched. I don’t even like that idiot. But he was still inside.
"What if they die?"
Beeny became silent. Then she spoke quietly. "Vivian."
"You have to learn something in this world."
"You have to save yourself first."
Vivian opened her eyes.
"Before thinking about others."
"You already don’t completely trust Arin."
"You don’t fully understand Serial’s motive in approaching you.."
"So why are you risking your life for them?"
Beeny’s voice became firm.. "Don’t forget your father."
"You still have to save Isaac."
"You cannot die here."
Vivian clenched her teeth.
She looked into the darkness again.
Then..."HELP!"
Someone grabbed her leg. Vivian looked down. A female student was clinging to her.
Tears streamed down the girl’s face. She looked so pitiful it hurt Vivian’s strong heart.
"Please!"
"Save me!"
Vivian’s heart tightened. The girl’s fingers were shaking.
What if I give her the Lotus Root?
She could hold onto it.
Maybe Vivian could save them both.
But then...
What will she think of me?
The Lotus Root didn’t exactly look normal.
It had sharp spikes and strange golden teeth-like structures.
She’ll think I’m a monster. Or even scream calling me a Zerg. Everyone’s hatred will be shifted to Me. They will even blame me for the ship wreck.
The wind howled around them. Vivian looked at the Lotus inside her consciousness. "Lotus."
The flower turned toward her. "What if we change your root?"
The Lotus blinked. She had eaten too much and couldn’t talk anymore.
Vivian continued. "Can you make it look like a normal wood-type ability?"
"Close those..."
She hesitated.
"...you know...um...teeth."
"And the spikes."
"Make it look like an ordinary wooden root."
Beeny immediately screamed. "NO!"
Vivian flinched. "What?"
"Don’t!"
Beeny sounded desperate. "Changing the root’s appearance will consume even more of your spiritual energy!"
Vivian’s expression darkened. "Then how do I save her?"
Beeny hesitated. "I could take you away in my bee form."
"But..."
She looked toward the Lotus. "I need at least three more new petals to eat.."
Vivian’s eyes widened.
"Three? Look at your mouth!! You dare request for petals? Ina and her people you took, aren’t you eating them too? "
Before they could say anything else...
GRRRRRRRR!
A horrifying growl came from the Void of darkness.
Vivian’s blood ran cold.
Slowly...something emerged from below.
Eight enormous legs appeared first.
Then a gigantic body.
A monstrous spider crawled out of the Void.
Its body was so enormous that several students screamed the moment they saw it.
Beeny’s voice shook. "That’s it!"
"That’s the Zerg Beast controlling the ship to destroy it!!"
The spider opened its mouth. A long, horrifying tongue shot outward. The tongue looked like a spider web.
It wrapped around a student.
"AHHH!"
The student was dragged toward the darkness. Another tongue shot out.
Then another. Students screamed as the monster pulled them away one after another.
Vivian’s eyes widened.
The girl holding her leg suddenly climbed higher.
Her nails dug into Vivian’s flesh.
"AH!"
Vivian looked down. "What are you doing?"
The girl continued climbing. The more she climbed, the more weight she put on Vivian.
Vivian’s body began sliding toward the edge.
"Stop!"
The girl screamed. "If you don’t let me climb up, I’ll pull you down with me!"
Vivian stared at her. "What?"
The girl’s eyes were wild. "We’ll both die together! I must not die alone.!"
Vivian stared at her for a moment.
Then she smirked. "Did you actually think I’m a nice person?"
The girl froze. Vivian raised one leg from her grip.
BAM!She kicked the girl away. The student flew backward.
"AHHHHH!"
She disappeared into the darkness below. Vivian watched her vanish.
Then sighed. "Ungrateful brat."
She shook her head.
"She actually thought threatening me would work."
Beeny was silent for two seconds.
Then..."What did I tell you?"
Vivian frowned. Beeny sighed. "Next time, use your brain!"
Vivian rolled her eyes. "You’re starting to sound like an old woman."
Before Beeny could answer....The wind suddenly reduced but never stopped.
Everything became silent.The students froze.
No screaming. No roaring sound of strong wind. Then footsteps sounded. The sounds approaching her.
Someone was walking through the wrecked upside down ship.
Vivian turned slightly. A tall male stepped through the corridor.
He wore a purple military uniform.
The strange thing was...The wind outside couldn’t touch him.
It moved around his body as though avoiding him.
Students stared. Then someone screamed.
"Sentinel Vega!"
Another student shouted, "HE’S HERE!"
"We’re saved!"
"Sentinel Vega will save us!"
Vivian stared at the newcomer. He was tall.
His long, light-green hair reached his shoulders, with strands that shimmered like silver beneath the emergency lights.
Several tiny gems were woven into his hair.
His eyes were cold and pale like ice.
He stopped. The entire ship seemed to become quieter around him.
Then...his body began changing.
Light burst from his body. His arms transformed.
His legs stretched. Scales spread across his skin.
His body grew larger. Larger and larger.
Until the man was gone. In his place stood an enormous dragon.
Its massive wings spread across the damaged ship. Its scales gleamed beneath the emergency lights.
Vivian’s mouth slowly fell open.
She stared upward.
"Is that..."
She swallowed. "A real dragon?"
The gigantic dragon lifted its head.
Vivian’s eyes widened.
The fantasy dragons I used to read about...
She stared in disbelief. They actually exist fucking?!
