Chapter 63: TALE OF A LOVER GIRL

VIVIAN

The Sentinel’s Dragon wings spread out. Flapping slowly as it flew into the air.

The terrifying wind suddenly stops completely. The ship flipped and took its normal state.

The students who had been screaming moments ago froze in confusion.

Vivian’s hair, which had been whipping wildly around her face, settled against her shoulders.

Even the loose pieces of clothing that had been flapping in the violent wind fell still.

For one brief moment, the entire broken transport ship became eerily quiet. The students watched the sentinel’s mighty dragon’s divine fight.

Then...ROAR! The thunderous dragon roar shook the entire ship.

The darkness beneath them trembled.

The enormous spider that had been crawling along the side of the ship suddenly raised its head.

Its eight eyes glowed crimson.

Its massive body twisted, preparing to attack the strange figure walking toward it.The spider created another void and started a mighty wind to pull the dragon into its Void.

The young Dragon in the purple military uniform continued forward. He didn’t hurry.

He didn’t even look frightened of the spider’s antics.

The wind simply moved around him as if it had developed a mind of its own and knew better than to touch him.

The dragon eyes became cold, its ice-like eyes remained completely emotionless.

Vivian stared. Her mouth completely opened.

Wow!!

She had seen powerful Sentinels before.

She had seen Caelan. She had seen Darius and Vincent.

She had even seen Aston.

But this was different.

A dragon. A real dragon.

Not a hologram. Not something from a children’s book.

A living, enormous beast capable of making the entire ship tremble with one roar.

Vivian’s eyes sparkled. She couldn’t help it.

There was something breathtaking about watching such overwhelming power so close to her.

The dragon spread its massive wings.

Its body transformed in a flash of silver-green light.. It looked so majestic. The Evil wind couldn’t control its glory.

The Dragon toe nails were extremely sharp and long.

They were not ordinary claws.

They were long enough to pierce armored metal.

The giant spider suddenly lunged closer hitting other students as it moved.

Its enormous mouth opened.

Its long, disgusting tongue like webs shot toward the Sentinel.

The Sentinel didn’t move.

The tongue stopped inches from his face.

His hand caught it.

The spider’s body jerked violently.

Then the Sentinel’s eyes narrowed.

He pulled. The spider slammed across the broken deck.

BOOM! The ship shook.

Several students screamed again. The spider tried to crawl away.

Too late because the Dragon had no patience, it just wanted to kill the spider instantly and leave.

The Sentinel stepped forward.

His sharp leg claws dug into the spider’s enormous body.

Then....RIP! The claws tore straight through it.

The spider was ripped apart.

One half fell toward one side of the ship. The other half fell toward the opposite side.

Blood and dark green fluid splattered across the metal floor.

The students went completely silent.

Nobody moved. Nobody breathed.

Vivian stared. Her eyes were practically glowing.

Her heart pounded. So cool!! I want to ride him. He can be my Mount!!!!!

She watched the Sentinel Dragon standing in the middle of the wreckage, and he changed to his human self. His purple uniform barely disturbed.

He had just torn apart an SSSS-Class Zerg Beast with his legs.

With his legs!!! Vivian’s lips parted slightly.

She didn’t even realize she was staring.

Inside her consciousness, Beeny slowly floated upward.

She looked at Vivian. Then at the Sentinel.

Then back at Vivian. Her tiny face became speechless.

Finally, she sighed. "Vivian ..."

Vivian didn’t respond. "VIVIAN."

Still no reply from.her.. Beeny crossed her arms. "Close your mouth."

Vivian blinked. "Huh?"

"You are drooling."

Vivian immediately wiped her mouth.

There was nothing there. She froze.

Her face turned red. "Beeny!"

The little girl burst into laughter. "Pretty sister likes the dragon!"

"I do not!"

"You do!"

"I was only admiring his strength."

Beeny nodded seriously. "Yes. With love."

Vivian’s eyes widened. "I wasn’t looking at him with love!"

Beeny pointed at her own eyes. "Your eyes were shining with love stars everywhere."

Vivian quickly turned her face away. "I was surprised! And only imagined if I could own a dragon."

"Your heart was beating very fast."

"You can hear my heartbeat?"

"Of course."

Vivian glared inwardly. This little monster needs to learn when to keep quiet.

Before Beeny could tease her again, something fell from the broken spider’s body.

THUD!

A student landed on the floor.

Then another. Then another.

The students who had been swallowed by the spider came tumbling out one after another. Their clothes were torn.

Their bodies were covered in thick, disgusting mucus. Some were unconscious.

Others coughed violently as they tried to breathe.

"Help them!"

"Get the medical team!"

"They’re alive!"

The surviving students rushed forward.

One male student rolled onto his back and immediately vomited.

Another woman began crying when she realized she was still alive.

Vivian stared at them. The spider had swallowed them whole.

She had thought they were dead. Yet they had survived. Maybe Barely.

A nearby student quickly removed his jacket and covered one of the unconscious girls who were almost naked..

"Don’t touch them too much!" someone shouted. "Their bodies are covered in the spider’s digestive fluid!"

Vivian’s expression changed. She looked at the enormous remains.

Even after death, the spider continued to twitch.

Beeny clicked her tongue. "Disgusting creature. But good for the Lotus to eat."

Vivian frowned. "Can the student survive?"

"They can but they need treatment quickly," Beeny replied. "The fluid is already damaging their skin."

Vivian looked toward the students. For once, there was no joke on her face.

She stepped forward.

But before she could reach them. A shadow fell over her.

Vivian stopped. The atmosphere changed.

The surrounding students suddenly became quiet.

She slowly lifted her head. The Sentinel was walking toward her.

His purple uniform moved gently with every step.

His sharp claws slowly retracted.

Those cold, ice-like eyes remained fixed on Vivian.

Step.. Step....Step.

Vivian’s heartbeat suddenly became louder as he came closer.

Beeny’s little face appeared inside her consciousness.

She grinned. "Pretty sister..."

Vivian swallowed. "What?"

"Your mouth is wide open."

Vivian immediately shut it. The Sentinel stopped directly in front of her.

His gaze lowered. Vivian saw his face clearly. She had a strong feeling he was actually here for her.
