The drop they got after killing the D-rank level 50 boss didn’t look that great. Of course, D-rank items were still better and more expensive than any E-rank items.

Not to mention the Echo Stones they obtained after killing the boss.

If not for directly arriving at a mine of Echo Stones, it would have still been a good haul. Not to mention the drops they got from other monsters.

Besides, there were still a few special items they obtained.

—

‘Hmm…I don’t know how effective this is.’

Soren thought while playing with a small crystal in his hand. He could feel the trace of the same mysterious energy inside it.

An item that could control D-rank monsters. Although it wasn’t a groundbreaking thing, it could be very useful at times even if he could no longer enter the D-rank dungeon anymore.

Not to mention, it wasn’t a one-time consumable item.

“Soren…are we leaving?”

Just as Soren was thinking about its uses, he heard Elise speak curiously.

After all, once they left the dungeon, Soren quickly walked towards the gate. He didn’t even allow them to rest or wander around the City of Solemere.

To be honest, Elise wanted to roam around the city with Soren after conquering the dungeon.

In fact, it was the same for others too, as it wasn’t always they could come to a floating city after all.

“Yeah, we are leaving. Sorry, I know you guys want to explore the city, but let’s do that next time. Something came up.”

Soren apologized.

For once, he still hadn’t forgotten about those assassins. Although he had already killed them, their boss was still alive.

Who knew if there were other plans or assassins waiting in the city?

So, he felt that staying in this city was more dangerous. He already got the Echo Stones he came here for anyway.

And the next thing was the issue of the Conquest Order.

That thing made his heart jump even now. He was so restless that he didn’t want to stay here any longer than necessary.

Besides, the news that their team had conquered the Howling Chasm would probably be known by everyone in a while. That would surely garner unnecessary attention, which he didn’t want.

“No…although it is a boomer to leave like this, you are probably right. Besides, I am quite tired of all the fighting, too.”

Elise quickly shook her head and smiled beautifully as if she didn’t care.

Rather, she quickly grabbed his arm and whispered, just enough for their team to hear clearly,

“But…Soren, you owe me this time. So…you must promise to go with me on a tour later, okay?”

She smiled while leaning very close, her breathing tickling Soren’s ears. She didn’t even care that she was in the middle of a public street.

Rather, she looked intently at him with a smirk before speaking in his mind,

‘Aren’t you tired too? What about we release our stress together? It has been so long since we…d-did that.’

She proposed with a faint red cheek, finding it strangely thrilling to discuss such a thing in front of others.

Even though her voice could only be heard by Soren, she couldn’t help but feel her heart beat strangely, making her tingle somewhere.

“….”

For a moment, even Soren felt her breathing hitch, making him speechless.

Although it was true that he had been neglecting her these days, wasn’t she too eager?

“Cough…okay, let’s do that. In fact, we can all go on a tour together later. For now, let’s return.”

As much as Soren wanted to accept Elise’s proposal, he could feel the gaze of the other girls on his back the moment Elise grabbed his arm.

So, he coughed lightly and took Elise off him, as she was too close.

‘Just meet me tomorrow morning.’

He didn’t forget to give a response internally to Elise though, making her smile.

Then, he finally turned to Sylvia, who was pouting, and ordered,

“Take the Ivory out. Let’s go to the academy and sell those drops. This time we will make a huge sum of money it seems.”

Well, the moment money was mentioned though, Sylvia beamed with a bright smile, forgetting everything.

“Yeah…damn, I wonder how many we will get. We killed so many monsters from the start to finish. My inventory is completely full, you know.”

Sylvia spoke with a smile before releasing the beautiful Sky Crane outside.

Now that Soren had said those words, her intention of touring around the city completely vanished into thin air.

Rather, she was thinking how many credit points she could get from this dungeon exploration.

Or specifically,

‘I don’t know how many mana bombs I can make with this wealth. Or maybe, I can make even that new thing the professor taught me before?’

She thought, finding the dungeon exploration this time extremely satisfying due to how she could bombard those monsters.

It seemed she had become addicted.
