Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1449 - 565: The Theft Plan
In the vast Dream World, the environment here is distorted by colors, with various hues splashed in the air, casually drifting and rotating, making this place appear bizarre and colorful.
In this Dream World, within the Spiritual World of intelligent beings.
Every empty space is often surrounded by areas where bubbles gather.
A certain area.
A gigantic White Mist Serpent, covering the sky, is coiled in this region of the Dream World.
The White Mist Serpent is so large that one cannot see its boundary.
The white mist on the White Mist Serpent is spreading to the surrounding area, and it’s coiled, seemingly in deep sleep.
At this moment, a small Mirror Surface Teleportation Gate appears beside the White Mist Serpent, almost imperceptible compared to its massive body.
Through the Teleportation Gate, Alka comes over.
Alka looks at the White Mist Serpent in front of him.
His location is right beside the head of the White Mist Serpent.
The giant head, appearing as though fallen from the sky like a meteorite, slowly rotates to face Alka.
"Alka?"
Upon hearing this unique form of communication of the Dream entity, Alka nods.
Looking at the giant serpent before him.
Coiled here, it is repairing the corresponding limited-time spatial rift through the dream.
Not every stitched rift is like the World Scar, large and connected to the Abyss.
The rift at the World Scar is because it was once the origin point of world destruction.
And the pain originates from various scars on the body.
The rift leading from the World Scar to the Abyss is the most exaggerated wound, crawling with carrion and bloodsucking creatures.
The other rifts are small cracks.
Dream-like mist creatures and those sovereigns are mostly repairing these cracks.
"You seem to have something to discuss with me?"
The voice of the White Mist Serpent transmits into Alka’s mind.
Alka nods, his reason for coming here was to seek out the White Mist Serpent.
"I have some doubts and require your clarification."
Alka says.
Upon hearing Alka’s words, the White Mist Serpent quietly looks at him.
Being somewhat familiar with these mist creatures, Alka starts speaking directly: "I want to know, does the world have a degree of control over the divinity within those Divine?"
If there wasn’t such control, these gods who betrayed the world wouldn’t be so eager to completely destroy the world.
Because they fear this sense of divinity that doesn’t belong to them.
Inquiring the White Mist Serpent is the best approach.
For he is the earliest being since the creation of the world, older than the natural Divine.
It was the Spiritual World that first gave rise to life, prompting the world to conceive of creating life.
"Correct." The voice of the White Mist Serpent echoes in Alka’s mind.
"But this control can be countered."
Upon hearing the explanation, Alka nods, as he was already aware, only seeking a definite answer.
Whether in the Great Library or from reviewing history, these could be known.
The rebellion of the Divine was observed by the world.
She refrains from taking action out of love for her children.
The leaked secrets once shared were about how to fully master these Treasures during the last step. That is to destroy the world, causing its divinity to completely lose control, fully belonging to these natural Divine.
Yet before this, the divinity within them ultimately belongs to an owner.
Even though they have stolen it through certain means, making it difficult for the world to retrieve unless it forces it and tears up the relationship.
And the world is unwilling to do this.
This was a point of helplessness for those Divine who guarded the world.
After all, whether they’re the Divine who guard the world or those who betray it, they are all considered the world’s children.
According to Alka’s speculation, forcibly reclaiming it might cause extremely severe damage, even leading to the total demise of these natural Divine.
The voice of the White Mist Serpent echoes once more in the mind.
"As the destruction and reconstruction of the world continue, the control over these divine attributes becomes weaker and weaker.
At most it can influence the display of these attributes, unlikely to forcibly retrieve them."
Though the White Mist Serpent doesn’t know what Alka intends to do, asking such questions is clearly no small matter, so it intentionally reminds him.
He doesn’t want this peculiar fellow to find himself in trouble.
Hearing this, Alka nods.
But he has already obtained the answer he desired; as long as this control can slightly affect the Divine, it suffices.
He merely needs a catalyst.
Then he unexpectedly asks the White Mist Serpent in front of him: "If, and I mean if, I wanted to borrow this control from the world, would she be willing to lend it to me?"
Hearing this, the White Mist Serpent looks at him quizzically.
Yet still it says, "If you have the ability to steal this control, I believe she would certainly be willing to lend it to you. Especially under the current circumstance."
Alka nods knowingly.
He naturally possesses the ability to borrow it.
Just worried that when borrowing, the world might be unwilling to hand it over to him, which would be bad, since essentially he might not be recognized as the world’s child.
