Tribunal Kingdom In A Stone Age: Blood, Lust, Gladiators and Milfs

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Two Fronts: Old Bones, New Knives!(18+)
The morning after Korr’s return, the kingdom woke to a different weight.
The proof of the Hollow Kin the marked hide, the bone necklace, the bodies left in the high pass had spread through every fire and every work line before the sun cleared the ridges.
Children were kept closer.
Watches on the northern paths were doubled and then tripled.
Fighters who had once argued over shares of meat now checked their edges in silence.
The river war had been a known enemy.
The Hollow Kin were an old fear given fresh teeth.
Vara used the fear.
She called the full Tribunal and the senior fighters of both bands into the arena at high sun.
The tribe packed the ledges.
Elka stood with Sura and Drak at the edge of the sand, her circle tighter than before.
Gron occupied his usual place, cracked face unreadable.
Vara’s voice carried without strain.
"The Hollow Kin are no longer a song.
They have walked our high trails, marked our paths, and spilled our blood.
Three of them lie dead. One of ours burns with honor.
This is not a threat that will wait for us to finish our own arguments."
She let the words settle.
"Until the northern paths are secure, every fighter answers the Tribunal as one.
The second band will take the eastern and southern watches.
The first band will hold the northern approaches with me.
Any quiet meetings, any unmarked trails, any further reaching beyond the valley without my word will be treated as open aid to the enemy above us."
Her gaze found Elka and held.
"That order includes every circle, every fire, every voice that has grown louder in recent days.
The Hollow Kin will not find a kingdom already cut in half."
A hard murmur of agreement moved through most of the crowd. Not all.
Elka’s face remained carefully neutral, but the set of her shoulders said the public binding had landed exactly where Vara intended.
Gron added his weight, voice dry.
"The old songs say the Hollow Kin take the isolated and the divided first.
We will not give them the divided.
The watches will be walked. The trails will be closed.
And the Tribunal will speak with one mouth until the high ridges are quiet again."
The gathering broke with less noise than usual. The fear was real.
So was the resentment in some eyes.
Korr spent the afternoon organizing the northern watch rotations with the first band. Bor, still limping from the pass fight, took the high overlook post.
The cut on Korr’s ribs had been cleaned again and bound tighter; it pulled with every deep breath but did not slow him.
He moved through the work with the same focused calm he brought to the pit, aware that every fighter who looked at him was also measuring the space between the Matron’s claim and Elka’s growing shadow.
Near dusk Elka found him on the path that led toward the upper caves.
Sura walked a few paces behind her, spear in hand, silent as always.
Drak was nowhere in sight.
"You brought the Hollow Kin into the light," Elka said without greeting.
"Convenient. Now every restless voice can be called a threat to the whole rather than a question about one Matron’s grip."
Korr stopped. "The Hollow Kin were already in the light. I only made sure the tribe saw the blood they left."
"And in doing so you gave Vara the perfect stone to drop on my circle."
Elka’s smile was thin. "I will keep the order. For now.
The northern paths need every strong arm, including mine. But do not mistake temporary silence for surrender.
The Hollow Kin change the timing.
They do not change the shape of what is already broken."
She stepped closer.
The resin scent of her oil cut through the evening air.
"When the high ridges are quiet again, the same questions will still be waiting.
Who the Tribunal answers to.
How loud one gladiator’s name is allowed to grow.
Which Matron’s hand rests on the center of the kingdom. You will still have a choice to make, Korr.
The Hollow Kin only delay it."
Sura’s eyes met his over Elka’s shoulder flat, assessing, already calculating the next measure of strength.
Then Elka turned and walked back toward her fire, the River woman falling in behind her.
Korr watched them go, the cut on his ribs throbbing in time with his heartbeat.
That night the council met again in the deep chamber.
Only the three of the Tribunal and Korr were present.
The marked hide and the Hollow Kin bone necklace still lay on the stone table like open accusations.
Vara spoke first.
"She will keep the order while the fear is fresh.
The moment the northern paths feel safer, she will test again. We use the time.
Pull the second band’s rotations under clearer first-band oversight.
Move the most restless of her new pieces onto the northern watches where they can be seen.
And keep the Hollow Kin proof in front of the tribe so no one forgets why the circle must stay closed."
Gron nodded.
"The Hollow Kin will not wait for our internal knives to finish.
The old songs say they strike when the lower caves are loudest with argument.
We have given them exactly that sound.
Close the arguments or be ready to bleed for them."
Vara’s hand settled on Korr’s forearm. "You will take the primary northern rotation tomorrow. Visible. Trusted men only.
If the Hollow Kin show themselves again, I want the answer to be immediate and final.
And tonight..." Her voice dropped.
"Tonight I want the claim renewed before you walk those ridges again."
Gron left without further comment.
The moment the chamber was empty of all but the two of them.
Vara closed the distance, pushed Korr back against the painted wall, and kissed him with the fierce possession that had marked every bloodletting since the first pit.
Her hands worked the loincloth free.
She stroked him until he was hard, then turned, braced both hands on the stone, and looked back over her shoulder.
"Now. While the kingdom still remembers who brought the Hollow Kin into the light."
Korr stepped in, shoved the leather up over her hips, and drove into her in one deep thrust.
She was already wet.
The sound she made was low and raw.
He set a hard, steady rhythm, one hand gripping her hip, the other braced beside hers on the wall.
Each stroke drove a sharp breath from her. The bone necklace hers swung and clicked.
"Harder," she ordered.
"Make me feel that the northern paths will still have a man who returns to these furs."
He gave her harder.
The wet slap of skin filled the chamber.
Vara pushed back to meet every thrust, silver-streaked hair falling forward.
When she came it was with a broken, open cry that the outer guards almost certainly heard.
The clench of her body pulled Korr over the edge with her.
He buried himself deep and spilled while she shuddered around him.
They stayed locked for several long breaths. Then she straightened, turned, and dragged two fingers through the mess on her thigh. She brought them to her mouth and tasted, eyes never leaving his.
"The Hollow Kin above us," she said quietly. "Elka beside us. The songs still loud around your name. Two fronts, Korr.
Walk the northern one carefully.
I will hold the one inside the caves until you return."
