Chapter 181: Chapter 181: Today, I Will Find Out What He’s Really Made Of

Zhou Wan looked at the bald security guard and said coldly, "Getting beaten up like this on your own turf. Aren’t you ashamed?"

The bald security guard hung his head in shame. Just then, Tang Bao staggered over to Zhou Wan, crying out, "Godmother, look what he did to me! You have to get revenge for me!"

Zhou Wan’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Who? Who did this?"

Tang Bao turned with difficulty, pointed at Ye Feng’s back, and snarled through gritted teeth, "It was that bastard!"

Zhou Wan chuckled. "Beating up my security guards in my own establishment, and battering my godson like this... You must have a death wish. Come on, tell me your name. Let me see what kind of big shot you are."

Without turning his head, Ye Feng pulled out a Token and tossed it behind him. The Token CLATTERED to the ground, rolled a few times, and came to a stop.

Zhou Wan glanced at it out of the corner of her eye. But when she saw the Token clearly, her face instantly turned ashen.

Tang Bao didn’t notice the change in Zhou Wan’s expression. He was still roaring arrogantly, "Who are you trying to scare with a worthless piece of wood? You really think my godmother is easily frightened? Let me tell you, she’s not! You’re not leaving here today!"

He then turned to Zhou Wan and shouted, "Godmother, call in your men! Get him!"

But what happened next made his pupils shrink. He watched as Zhou Wan stumbled behind Ye Feng and fell to her knees with a THUD, her voice trembling as she spoke:

"Zhou Wan, General Manager of the Nanjun Hundred Flowers Building, pays her respects to the Young Lord!"

Tang Bao was completely stunned. It took him a long moment to process what was happening. He rushed to Zhou Wan’s side and shrieked, "Godmother, what are you doing? Why are you kneeling to this bastard?"

"Shut your mouth!" Zhou Wan screamed, spinning around and slapping Tang Bao across the face. The blow sent him sprawling to the floor. Tang Bao was floored, stunned into silence.

At that moment, Ye Feng slowly turned around. He looked at the kneeling Zhou Wan and spoke calmly, "The security guards don’t protect their own employees. Instead, they team up with thugs to bully people from the Hundred Flowers Building. Is this how you manage things?"

Zhou Wan’s face was pale as she said, "Young Lord, I was wrong!"

Ye Feng bent down and asked, "Are you that... Tang Wen’s lover?"

Hearing this, Zhou Wan’s body instantly began to tremble.

But Tang Bao, still behind them, yelled arrogantly, "That’s right! My godmother goes to be with my dad every week—"

"You! Shut your mouth!" Like a madwoman, Zhou Wan scrambled up from the floor, rushed at Tang Bao, and began kicking and punching him relentlessly.

Tang Bao coughed up mouthfuls of blood, howling in agony.

Ye Feng looked at the bald security guard and said calmly, "Recite the first ironclad rule of the Hundred Flowers Building for me."

The bald security guard now knew Ye Feng’s identity. How could he dare to disobey? His voice trembling, he recited, "First ironclad rule of the Hundred Flowers Building: All managers of the Hundred Flowers Building must remain virgins in anticipation of the Young Lord’s favor. Anyone who dares to lose their virginity will die!"

When Zhou Wan heard this, she was so terrified her bones felt like they were melting. She turned, scurried back to Ye Feng, and fell to her knees with another THUD. She cried out, her voice shaking:

"Young Lord, I was wrong! Please, Young Lord, give me another chance! From now on, I will follow you with all my heart. I will await your call at any time and be ready to receive your favor at any moment!"

But before she could finish, Ye Feng slammed his palm onto the top of her head. With a sickening SQUELCH, Zhou Wan’s head was driven straight into her own stomach.

Zhou Wan didn’t even have time to scream before she collapsed to the ground, dead.

Ye Feng took out a tissue, wiped his hand, and tossed it onto Zhou Wan’s corpse. He spoke calmly, "You dared to defy the ironclad rules of the Hundred Flowers Building. Did you really expect to live?"

Seeing this, the bald security guard and his men were so terrified they all fell to their knees with a series of THUDS. They began kowtowing frantically to Ye Feng, shrieking, "Young Lord, spare us! Young Lord, spare our lives!"

Ye Feng didn’t even glance at them. He turned to Xu Qiqi and said nonchalantly, "Qiqi, starting today, you are the general manager of the Nanjun Hundred Flowers Building."

Xu Qiqi’s eyes lit up. She hurried before Ye Feng, knelt, and said respectfully, "Thank you, Brother Feng—oh, no, thank you, Young Lord. Qiqi will not betray your trust."

When the bald security guard and his men heard this, their faces fell. ’My God,’ they thought, ’Xu Qiqi is our boss now?’

Remembering how disrespectfully he had treated her just moments ago, the bald security guard was scared out of his wits. He immediately began kowtowing to Xu Qiqi. "Qiqi—no, General Manager! I was wrong to offend you earlier! Please forgive me! From now on, I will serve you faithfully until the day I die..."

He had barely finished speaking when Xu Qiqi snatched up a stool, rushed in front of him, and smashed it down on his head without hesitation.

With a dull THUMP, the bald security guard let out a choked cry and crumpled to the ground. He twitched a few times and then went still.

Xu Qiqi snarled through gritted teeth, "You already became a dog for the Tang family. What use do I have for you?!"

Ye Feng watched her and nodded in approval. ’She’s a ruthless and decisive woman, too!’

Just then, Tang Bao snapped out of his shock. He glared at Ye Feng and growled:

"I don’t care what the hell a ’Young Lord’ is! That title might mean something to the people in the Hundred Flowers Building, but it means nothing to me!"

"You hit me today, and you’re going to pay a heavy price for it! Just you wait!"

With that, he took out his phone and made a call.

Xu Qiqi cried out, "Young Lord, don’t let him make that call! If Tang Wen comes, things will get complicated!"

She grabbed the stool again and was about to charge, but Ye Feng raised a hand to stop her. He said calmly:

"Tang Wen? I’ll wait for him. It’s a perfect opportunity to solve this problem once and for all."

Xu Qiqi’s face turned pale. She said frantically, "Young Lord, the Tang family is one of the four great families of Nanjun! They’re huge and powerful, with deep roots in the city!"

Ye Feng sneered. "Then today, I’ll see for myself just how much the Tang family is worth."

By now, Tang Bao’s call had connected. He wailed into the phone, "Dad, it’s me, Tang Bao! I’m at the Hundred Flowers Building! I’ve been beaten to a pulp! Waaah..."

A cold voice came from the phone: "Someone dared to touch my son? They must have a death wish! Tell your godmother! Have your godmother take care of it for you!"

"My godmother... they killed her too!" Tang Bao sobbed.

"What—" A shriek came from the phone, followed by a furious roar. "Hurt my son and killed my woman?! They must have a death wish! Fine! You wait! I’m on my way right now!"

There was a loud CRACK from the phone, as if it had been smashed, followed by the BEEP-BEEP-BEEP of a disconnected line. Tang Bao lowered the phone and stared at Ye Feng, seething.

"You bastard, my dad’s coming right now! You just wait! You just wait!"

But Ye Feng didn’t spare him another glance. He turned, sat down on the sofa, and said something to Xu Qiqi that left her completely dumbfounded.
