Chapter 217: A Girl as Beautiful as a Blooming Peony
Chapter 217: Chapter 217: A Girl as Beautiful as a Blooming Peony
Jin Biao looked as if he had gone mad. He charged forward and smashed a fist into the head of the man in the tracksuit, roaring, "Go to hell!"
The man in the tracksuit didn’t even have time to scream before his head was blown apart.
Jin Hao saw this and couldn’t believe his eyes. He stared at Jin Biao and shouted in bewilderment:
"Dad, what are you doing? He’s one of our own! How could you attack him? You should be attacking that bastard..."
The words had barely left his mouth when what happened next made his pupils shrink. Jin Biao, as if he hadn’t heard a thing, staggered over to Ye Feng. With a THUD, he fell to his knees and cried out in a trembling voice:
"Jin Biao of the Dragon King Pavilion, greets the Young Pavilion Master."
BOOM!
Jin Biao’s words struck Jin Hao like a sledgehammer.
’The Young Pavilion Master... this enemy of mine is actually the Young Pavilion Master of the Dragon King Pavilion!’
’He couldn’t have been more familiar with the Dragon King Pavilion, so how could he not know what the title "Young Pavilion Master" represented? That was the future leader of the Dragon King Pavilion. That was someone who could mobilize all its members with a single word. That was the supreme being who held the power of life and death over everyone in the Pavilion. And he had just offended him...’
He froze in place, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.
At this, Ye Feng turned to look at Jin Biao and asked calmly, "Is this how you raise your family?"
Jin Biao’s voice trembled as he cried out, "Young Pavilion Master, I was wrong!"
Ye Feng asked again, "Blindly taking your family’s side without even asking who’s right or wrong... is this how you handle matters?"
"Young Pavilion Master, I was truly wrong!" Jin Biao’s whole body began to tremble uncontrollably.
Ye Feng stared at Jin Biao. "Have the people of the Dragon King Pavilion all become this arrogant and domineering?"
Ye Feng’s voice remained calm, but Jin Biao could feel a boundless killing intent emanating from him. He couldn’t bear it any longer. His legs gave out, and with a THUD, he collapsed to the ground. Gazing at Ye Feng, he cried out, his body shaking:
"Young Pavilion Master, I was wrong! I was truly wrong! I will give you a satisfactory resolution today!"
With that, he rose from the ground, walked over to Jin Hao, and roared, his eyes bloodshot:
"You wretched beast! You dared to go after the Young Pavilion Master! How can I spare you today!"
He then raised his right palm, preparing to bring it down ruthlessly.
Feeling the terrifying killing intent radiating from Jin Biao, Jin Hao knew his father truly meant to kill him this time. Scared out of his wits, he staggered over to Ye Feng and fell to his knees with a THUD, kowtowing repeatedly as he begged for mercy:
"Young Pavilion Master, I was wrong! I’ll never dare to do it again! Please, I’m begging you, spare my life!"
He then began kowtowing frantically like a chicken pecking at rice. His forehead split open and blood streamed down, but he didn’t dare to stop.
Ye Feng, still gnawing on a chicken neck, completely ignored him.
The soft-hearted Su Youning, standing nearby, couldn’t bear to watch. She looked at Ye Feng and said, "Spare him."
Only then did Ye Feng speak. "All right, get up."
Hearing this, Jin Hao wept as he kowtowed. "Thank you, miss! Thank you, Young Pavilion Master! I’ll never be so arrogant again! Never again!"
The words had barely left his mouth when Jin Biao rushed over and brought a knife-hand strike down on his right shoulder.
With a loud CRACK, Jin Hao’s right arm was brutally severed. Jin Biao glared at his son and said through clenched teeth, "You’ve been spared the death penalty, but you can’t escape your punishment. Leave this arm behind!"
Jin Hao trembled all over from the pain, but he didn’t dare make a sound.
Then, Jin Biao knelt before Ye Feng and said guiltily, "Young Pavilion Master, that wretched son of mine acted this way today entirely because of my failure to raise him properly. I am also at fault!"
With that, he raised his right hand and brought it down ruthlessly toward his own left shoulder!
But in the next moment, Ye Feng slowly raised his right hand, and Jin Biao’s hand could fall no further.
Ye Feng then said calmly, "Keep it."
Jin Biao let out a long sigh of relief. He then kowtowed to Ye Feng and exclaimed, "Thank you, Young Pavilion Master! From this day forward, my life belongs to you!"
Ye Feng rose to his feet, wrapped an arm around Su Youning’s slender waist, and departed gracefully. His calm voice drifted back from behind him:
"Have Grand Master Ouyang Nan come and see me."
Jin Biao quickly shouted, "Yes! I’ll go see the Grand Master right now!"
Only after Ye Feng had left did Jin Biao let out another long sigh of relief. He then realized his clothes were drenched in sweat.
...
Ye Feng walked toward the Su family residence with an arm around Su Youning.
Su Youning looked at Ye Feng, a guilty expression on her face. "I’m sorry. This was all my fault."
Ye Feng gently pinched Su Youning’s soft, supple cheek and said with a smile, "You’re my wife. Protecting you is my duty. What do you mean, ’your fault’?"
A blissful smile spread across Su Youning’s face.
Just then, a Rolls-Royce Phantom came roaring up from behind, barreling straight toward them.
Ye Feng quickly pulled Su Youning to the side of the road. The Rolls-Royce Phantom scraped past them but didn’t slow down at all, simply roaring off into the distance.
Ye Feng’s eyes narrowed dangerously. He let go of Su Youning, and in a flash, he appeared in front of the car. He planted a single hand on the hood and applied pressure with his right arm.
The tires of the Rolls-Royce Phantom screeched violently, even letting off blue smoke, but the car couldn’t move forward another inch.
The car door flew open, and a girl in a red dress jumped out. She glared at Ye Feng and roared furiously:
"What the hell are you doing blocking our car? You got a death wish?!"
Ye Feng looked at the girl in the red dress and could clearly smell the strong reek of alcohol on her. He said calmly:
"Just to remind you, you’re the one who almost hit us..."
Before he could finish, the girl in the red dress brazenly cut him off. With her hands on her hips, she yelled:
"So what if we almost hit you? It would’ve been your own damn fault for not watching where you were going!"
But the words had barely left her mouth when Ye Feng suddenly raised his hand and sent a vicious slap across her face.
With a sharp SLAP, the girl in the red dress was sent flying. She crashed heavily to the ground, half of her face already swelling up.
The girl in the red dress turned her head to glare at Ye Feng, trembling with rage. "You... you..."
Ye Feng looked at the girl in the red dress and spoke coolly, "Drunk driving, nearly hitting people, ignoring it completely, and then trying to flee the scene. And after all that, you get out of the car and act this arrogant. Let me ask you, who gave you this confidence? Who gave you the gall?
You’re not leaving here today until you give me a satisfactory answer!"
"You... you..." The girl in the red dress was so furious she was shaking, unable to form a complete sentence.
But just then, the rear car door opened, and another girl stepped out.
Her beautiful hair was tied up in a bun, framing a perfect, oval-shaped face. Her features were exquisite, her eyes and brows as if drawn by a master painter.
She wore a palace-style dress that perfectly accentuated her delicate, curvaceous figure. Simply standing there, she looked like a moon goddess who had descended to the mortal realm.
Ye Feng was surrounded by many beautiful women, but the only one who could rival this newcomer was Su Youning. However, where Su Youning’s beauty was like a blooming snow lotus, this girl was like a peony in full blossom—her beauty was passionate and unrestrained.
For a moment, Ye Feng was utterly captivated by her beauty.
