Chapter 250: Chapter 250: It’s Me, Got a Problem?
Ye Feng answered the phone, and a frantic voice came through: "Young Building Master, someone’s causing trouble at the Hundred Flowers Building."
"Alright, I’m on my way," Ye Feng replied immediately. He hung up, then turned to Ouyang Nan. "You... you didn’t send anyone to the Hundred Flowers Building?"
Ouyang Nan quickly replied, "Young Pavilion Master, I’ve already arranged for the Golden Dragon King to lead a team to the Hundred Flowers Building. They should be there by now."
Only then did Ye Feng nod. "Understood. I’ll go take a look. You gather our forces and head to the Martial Arts Association immediately. I’ll be right there."
With that, he got in his car and sped off toward the Hundred Flowers Building.
...
Hundred Flowers Building.
Qin Nuannuan put down the phone and quickly led her people to the main hall. There, she saw a young man in a martial arts uniform standing in the center of the room.
The young man glared at the security guards across from him and said coldly, "I’ll give you ten seconds. If that bitch Qin Nuannuan doesn’t come down, I’ll tear this place apart. I’m going to make everyone in the Hundred Flowers Building die with my brother and my father."
This young man was Wen Buchu, the eldest son of Wen Qiang, the Minister of the Ministry of Personnel.
Hearing Wen Buchu’s outrageous words, and knowing that Wen Qiang had already been overthrown, the security captain found his courage. He looked at Wen Buchu and said coldly, "Let me tell you something. The Hundred Flowers Building isn’t a place where you can just stir up trouble. We’re not to be trifled with..."
But before the words were even out of his mouth, Wen Buchu’s figure blurred. In an instant, he was in front of the guards. The next moment, they were sent flying, one after another, like bowling pins. THUD. CRASH. They hit the floor in a heap, their shrill screams echoing as they lay there, none able to get back up.
Wen Buchu looked down at the guards and sneered, "A pack of dogs, daring to bark in my presence. You’re courting death!"
He raised his right hand, preparing to bring it down with brutal force.
Just then, Qin Nuannuan hurried over. Frowning at Wen Buchu, she began, "Young Master Wen, whatever the issue is, we can talk about it. Why resort to violence...?"
But before she could finish, Wen Buchu was suddenly in her face. He violently raised his hand and brought it across her cheek in a vicious slap.
With a sharp CRACK, Qin Nuannuan staggered back from the force of the blow. Half of her face immediately began to swell.
Wen Buchu glared at Qin Nuannuan and snarled, "I don’t just fucking hit them. I’ll hit a bitch like you, too."
Qin Nuannuan straightened up, her pretty face turning ice-cold. "Young Master Wen, you’ve gone too far!"
Wen Buchu lunged, grabbing her by the collar and lifting her off her feet. He stared at her, his eyes bloodshot. "Fucking *this* is too far? Let me tell you, you haven’t seen ’too far’ yet."
"It’s because of you, you bitch! My brother died here! My father died here! So today, I’m not just going to destroy the Hundred Flowers Building. I’m going to rip out your heart and lungs as an offering to my family’s spirits!"
Seeing his bloodshot eyes, Qin Nuannuan actually laughed. "Wen Buchu, do you have any idea whose property the Hundred Flowers Building is? I might as well tell you: it belongs to the Prince Consort. If you dare to act so presumptuously here today, we’ll see if the Prince Consort spares you..."
But before she could finish, Wen Buchu slapped her again, roaring with bloodshot eyes, "Don’t you fucking use Ye Feng to threaten me! I’m telling you, I’m not afraid of him! Even if he shows up, I’ll twist his head clean off! But you won’t get to see that, because you’re about to die."
With that, he raised his right fist and brought it crashing down toward Qin Nuannuan’s temple. In the blink of an eye, his fist was inches from her head.
Qin Nuannuan gave a tragic laugh and closed her eyes. She murmured, "Young Pavilion Master... I’ll see you in the next life..."
But just as the words left her lips, she heard a loud BANG, followed by a muffled grunt.
Confused, Qin Nuannuan opened her eyes. An old man was standing in front of her, shielding her.
The old man looked at Qin Nuannuan and announced in a booming voice, "Jin Biao, a Dragon King of the Dragon King Pavilion, here by order of the Young Pavilion Master to protect Miss Qin."
The newcomer was none other than Jin Biao, one of the four Dragon Kings of the Dragon King Pavilion.
’Ye Feng... he hasn’t forgotten me!’ A happy smile spread across Qin Nuannuan’s face.
She looked at Jin Biao and quickly thanked him with a smile, "Thank you, Golden Dragon King. With you here, I can finally relax." But before she could finish, Wen Buchu’s chilling voice came from behind her. "You can relax with him here? Heh. You’re dreaming."
Qin Nuannuan turned to face Wen Buchu, whose face was now covered in blood, and chuckled. "If you don’t recognize him, allow me to introduce you. He is one of the four Dragon Kings of the Dragon King Pavilion. Do you know his cultivation level? Tier Five Martial Emperor!
"Now, do you think his presence is enough to put my mind at ease?"
But the words had barely left her lips when a black shadow shot forward like a lightning bolt. It appeared instantly before Jin Biao and threw a punch.
Jin Biao couldn’t even dodge. He was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground and spitting out a large mouthful of blood.
Heavily injured in a single blow!
Everyone present was stunned.
Who was Jin Biao? He was one of the four Dragon Kings of the Dragon King Pavilion, a supreme expert at the Tier Five Martial Emperor realm! In the entire Imperial Capital, he was the kind of person who could walk completely unchallenged. Yet, he had been taken down in a single move. Just who was this person with such heaven-defying power?
Everyone turned to look at the newcomer. It was a tall, thin old man. His face was so gaunt he looked like a skeleton, and he stood there with a ghostly presence.
The moment he appeared, an utterly terrifying pressure enveloped everyone on the scene. They felt as if a massive boulder was pressing on their chests, making it difficult to even breathe.
Wen Buchu hurried over to the old man and bowed respectfully. "Master!"
From behind, Qin Nuannuan recognized the elder, and in the next moment, she couldn’t help but cry out in alarm:
"Elder Geng Ba, one of the eight great elders of the Martial Arts Association!"
Wen Buchu turned his head to look at Qin Nuannuan and chuckled. "That’s right. My master is none other than Elder Geng Ba, ranked fourth among the eight great elders of the Martial Arts Association.
"Do you know his cultivation level? Let me tell you: Tier Six Martial Emperor."
He pointed at Jin Biao, who was lying on the ground, too injured to move. "I told you he couldn’t protect you today," he said coldly. "Do you believe me now?"
He then walked step by step toward Qin Nuannuan, staring at her as he spoke, enunciating every word:
"I’m telling you, before my master, everything else is insignificant. If I say I’m going to kill you today, you will not live. Not even God himself can save you. Now, die!"
With that, he raised his right fist and brought it crashing down toward Qin Nuannuan’s temple.
The fist, whistling through the air, was inches from her head in an instant, about to smash into her temple.
Qin Nuannuan smiled bitterly to herself. ’It seems I can’t escape a violent death here after all.’
But in the next instant, she was stunned to see a bloody hole suddenly appear on Wen Buchu’s right shoulder. He let out a piercing scream and staggered backward, his bloodshot eyes scanning the room as he roared:
"Who is it? Who the fuck ambushed me?"
He had barely finished speaking when a calm voice drifted from the doorway:
"That would be me. You have a problem with that?"
As the voice echoed, a young man strode in with his hands clasped behind his back.
Ye Feng had arrived.
