Chapter 307: Chapter 307: Proper Premarital Education

Ye Feng scanned the crowd and said calmly, "I, Ye Feng, am not an unreasonable person. If you don’t provoke me, we can all live in peace. But if anyone dares to provoke me or my loved ones again, let the Zhao family be a cautionary tale for you!"

After speaking, he paid the crowd no more mind and sped away with Ouyang Nan and the others.

He left the crowd standing there, trembling.

After a long while, the crowd finally snapped out of it. They all scrambled to get on their phones. The message was singular: no one in their families was ever to provoke Ye Feng, and they were forbidden from touching any of his relatives. Anyone who dared to disobey would be beaten to death.

In an instant, Ye Feng’s name became taboo.

Just then, as Ye Feng arrived outside the Zhao Manor, he received a call from the Grand Elder. "My boy, are you finished with your business? I’ve saved some fine wine for you. Why not come over for a drink?"

"Alright!" Ye Feng couldn’t refuse the kind old man who had always been there to help him. He got in his car, sped over to the Grand Elder’s residence, and began drinking with him to his heart’s content.

Just then, Long Ao called Ye Feng. "Son-in-Law, the situation has stabilized. Today, I will hold the wedding ceremony for you and Xi’Er to officiate your marriage!"

"Alright then. I’ll head back once I’m done here," Ye Feng said before casually hanging up.

The Grand Elder, sitting beside him, looked at Ye Feng and said with a smile,

"Today is your and the princess’s big day. I won’t keep you any longer. You should hurry back and get married!"

Ye Feng’s next words nearly floored the Grand Elder. He simply raised his glass, took a sip, and said lazily,

"What’s there to look forward to with this wedding? It’s just a chance to see Long Xi’Er’s ass, isn’t it?"

The Grand Elder stared at Ye Feng, dumbfounded. ’Are all young people these days so wild?’

Ye Feng raised his glass to the Grand Elder and said with a smile, "Come on, Grandpa, let’s keep drinking!"

But the words were barely out of his mouth when his phone began to ring insistently. Without looking, Ye Feng answered it and barked,

"Spit out whatever shit you have to say, and don’t interrupt my drinking!"

An furious shout erupted from the phone. "Ye Feng, you bastard! The princess is waiting for the wedding ceremony to start, and you’re off drinking somewhere? What kind of person are you?!"

It was none other than Long Xi’Er’s handmaiden, Caiyun.

But before Caiyun could finish speaking, Ye Feng hung up. A moment later, the phone rang again. Ye Feng snatched it up and roared,

"Christ, aren’t you fucking annoying?!"

The words had just left his mouth when a cold voice replied, "Ye Feng. Nothing’s even happened yet and you’re already tired of me, is that it? Fine. We’re through!"

Ye Feng quickly glanced at the caller ID. Nangong Xue. He was instantly dumbstruck. ’Fuck, why is it her?’

Just then, his phone rang again. This time, Ye Feng didn’t dare be so reckless. He quickly checked the caller ID and saw it was Caiyun again. He flew into a rage.

"I swear, you wretched woman, are you ever going to quit?"

The words had just left his mouth when a cold voice came through the phone, "Ye Feng, you’ve really got some nerve. Nothing’s even happened, and I, Wang Luyao, am already a ’wretched woman’ in your eyes? Fine. Just fine!"

With that, she hung up.

Ye Feng froze. ’Two sentences, and he’d offended two of his women. Now how am I going to apologize? They’ll have me kneeling on a washboard for this!’

Ye Feng was practically shaking with rage. ’Can’t you people use your own damn phones? What, can’t you afford the bill?!’

But just then, his phone rang yet again. It was Caiyun’s number.

This time, Ye Feng had learned his lesson. He answered cautiously, "Who is this?"

"It’s Caiyun—"

"Fuck off!" Ye Feng exploded, but before he could finish, a glacial voice came through the line:

"Am I, Xiao Yufei, so repulsive to you?"

Her words were followed by Caiyun’s sly laughter.

Ye Feng was dumbstruck. He finally realized he’d been completely played by that little devil Caiyun.

But he didn’t dare offend Xiao Yufei. Forcing a smile into his voice, he said, "Ah, Yufei, my apologies. I didn’t realize it was you..."

But he was cut off by Xiao Yufei’s cold tone before he could finish. "Enough nonsense. Get to the Princess’s Mansion immediately and go through with the wedding ceremony!"

With that, she hung up.

Ye Feng stood there, phone in hand, completely stunned. ’All these women were seething with jealousy when they heard I was marrying the princess. What kind of spell are they under now, that they’re all taking her side?’

Ye Feng sighed, got to his feet, and bid the Grand Elder farewell before speeding off toward the Princess’s Mansion. He didn’t dare offend all of his women at once. If he did, how would he ever survive the nights?

Ye Feng soon arrived at the Princess’s Mansion. As he approached the door to Long Xi’Er’s room, he heard Nangong Xue’s cheerful voice from inside:

"Princess, I’m telling you, it’s going to hurt a little at first, but you just have to push through it."

Then he heard Wang Luyao’s voice. "It’s not that scary, Princess. When the time comes, all you have to do is completely relax."

Ye Feng swayed, nearly falling to the floor. ’This is straight-up pre-wedding coaching!’

He couldn’t figure it out. ’What kind of magic potion did Long Xi’Er give these girls to make them all take her side?’

Just then, a blushing Xiao Yufei walked out of the room.

Ye Feng hurried over to her, rubbing his hands together and grinning sheepishly. "Honey, I really didn’t know it was you earlier. I hope you can forgive my rude words!"

Xiao Yufei shot him a glare. "Stop with the sweet talk. Hurry up and get ready for the ceremony."

Seeing that Xiao Yufei wasn’t truly angry, Ye Feng let out a long sigh of relief. He started to walk away, but then turned back and asked her with a puzzled look,

"Yufei, there’s something I just don’t understand. I’m about to marry another woman. You all should be opposing this, but from the looks of it, you seem to be actively pushing us together. Can you please tell me what’s going on?"

Xiao Yufei sighed. "If it weren’t for the princess this time... Luyao, Xue’Er, and I... we might never have seen you again."

She then gave him a brief summary of what had happened.

Just then, Qin Nuannuan came out. Looking at Ye Feng, she said, "Young Lord, if the princess hadn’t saved me, I wouldn’t be here to see you either."

Then Su Youning came out, nervously twisting the hem of her clothes. "Me too!" she said.

Ye Feng froze on the spot. In the rush, Ouyang Nan had only told him that those bastards had gone after his loved ones. He never had the chance to explain that it was Long Xi’Er who had stepped in and saved all these women in his life.

He never would have imagined that this woman, who had always been as cold as ice toward him, would help him so much at such a crucial time.

In that moment, his heart trembled, and his feelings for Long Xi’Er changed instantly.

Just then, Caiyun came out and shouted at Ye Feng, "Ye Feng, what are you standing there gawking for? The auspicious hour is almost upon us! Are you getting married or not?"

She then walked up to his ear and hissed through gritted teeth, "Don’t you want to see the princess’s ass anymore?"

Ye Feng glanced at Caiyun. For the first time, he didn’t try to get the last word in. He just obediently turned and went to change his clothes.

Watching him go, Caiyun said smugly, "Heh. As if I can’t handle a little punk like you."
