Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Not Only Do I Dare to Kill Him, I Dare to Kill You Too

’How did I end up being his sister-in-law?’

Ye Feng shot Du Lei a glare. "What nonsense are you spouting? She’s my Fifth Martial Sister."

Du Lei smiled and nodded. "Oh, so she’s your martial sister? That means you’re definitely not related by blood, right?"

Ye Feng: "..."

Ouyang Qiu: "..."

The car soon arrived at the Malaysian War Department. The moment the three of them reached the entrance, several guns were already aimed at them!

"This is a restricted military area of the War Department! Unauthorized personnel, leave immediately, or you will be killed without mercy!"

Du Lei puffed out his chest and walked forward. "I am Du Lei, the chief ambassador of the Great Xia Empire to the nation of Malaysia..."

Before he could finish, several gun barrels were pressed against his head.

Feeling the cold killing intent, Du Lei’s legs trembled, and he nearly wet himself. He shrank back and retreated, then looked at Ye Feng with a wry smile.

"You’re on your own, brother. My title doesn’t carry enough weight here!"

Ye Feng said nonchalantly, "Don’t worry. In the future, I’ll make it so you can do whatever you want in Malaysia."

With that, he took a few steps forward, looked at the soldiers at the gate, and began to speak calmly.

"I..."

Before he could say another word, the commander glared at him and roared.

"I don’t care who you are, you have no right to act so brazenly here! Get lost, or I’ll have you shot on sight..."

The commander’s voice had barely faded when the Token in Ye Feng’s hand smashed directly into his face.

"How dare you! You dare to act so impudently in front of me! Men, open fire and kill him!" The commander’s face was already swelling from the impact. He flew into a rage, roaring furiously.

But just as he finished speaking, a soldier beside him, having gotten a clear look at the Token, couldn’t help but cry out in alarm.

"The Marshal’s Token."

The commander quickly looked down at the Token that had fallen to the ground. When he saw it clearly, his expression changed dramatically.

The War Department Token was the department’s highest symbol of authority. The bearer of this Token was the Marshal of the War Department. No one in the department was permitted to show disrespect, on pain of death for their entire clan!

The commander never imagined Ye Feng’s background was so formidable. He quickly bent down, picked up the Token, and presented it to Ye Feng with both hands, speaking respectfully.

"This subordinate was blind to have offended you, Marshal. My crime is worthy of ten thousand deaths!"

All the soldiers behind him dropped to their knees and bowed in unison.

Ye Feng took back the Token and looked at the commander. "Lead the way," he said calmly. "To the central command tent!"

"Yes, sir!" the commander replied respectfully. He then led Ye Feng and his companions into the War Department, heading for the central command tent.

「The central command tent.」

Inside, there was a mahjong table where several men were sitting, "building the Great Wall."

"East Wind!"

"Pong, White Dragon!"

"Kong, Nine of Bamboo!" A middle-aged man in a marshal’s uniform, a cigarette dangling from his lips, took the White Dragon tile and drew another one.

This middle-aged man was none other than the Vice Marshal of the Malaysian War Department, Jiang Long.

Just then, a bald man standing nearby watched Jiang Long, hesitated for a long moment, and finally gritted his teeth and spoke up.

"Marshal, the twelve-nation allied army is massing troops on the border. They could invade Malaysia at any moment. We should be at the front lines supervising the battle..."

The combat staff officer, Yang Hai!

Jiang Long flicked the ash from his cigarette and said lazily, "Her Majesty the Queen will soon agree to the marriage alliance with the Prince of Yue Country. So don’t worry, there won’t be a fight. We just need to sit here and watch the show! Seven of Circles!"

With that, he casually discarded a tile.

Yang Hai pondered for a moment, then looked at Jiang Long and tried to persuade him again.

"Those officials in the court want to sacrifice the Queen for their own gain. As the War Department, we should step in to defend Her Majesty..."

BAM! Before Yang Hai could finish, Jiang Long slammed his tiles onto the table, then pointed at Yang Hai and roared furiously.

"Are you fucking telling me what to do? Do you think you’re qualified? Keep spouting this bullshit and I’ll strip you of your rank, believe it or not!"

The other men also glared at Yang Hai and sneered.

"He really doesn’t know his place, does he!"

"Don’t just stand there gawking. Get lost!"

Yang Hai’s face turned livid with anger, but he knew he couldn’t win against these people. He sighed at the heavens and turned to leave.

But just then, a calm voice sounded from the entrance.

"A powerful enemy is at our doorstep, yet the men of the War Department are in here playing mahjong. What a refined pastime you have."

As the voice faded, Ye Feng strode in with his hands behind his back.

"Don’t worry, this war will never happen..." Jiang Long said casually, but he quickly realized something was wrong. He looked at Ye Feng, his expression turning cold.

"Who the hell are you? You dare trespass in the War Department? Are you looking to die? Guards! Drag him out and shoot him!"

The words had barely left his mouth when Ye Feng’s figure flickered, appearing right in front of him. Ye Feng raised his right hand and swung it. A loud SMACK echoed as Jiang Long was sent flying to the ground, half of his face instantly swelling up!

Jiang Long flew into a rage. He scrambled up from the floor, pointed at Ye Feng, and roared furiously.

"Where did this piece of trash come from? How dare you act so insolently in my War Department! You have a death wish! Guards! Get in here!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a squad of fully armed guards rushed in from outside.

Jiang Long pointed at Ye Feng and bellowed, "Shoot him! Shoot him dead!"

"I’d like to see who dares!" Ouyang Qiu snorted coldly and threw the Token. It landed on the mahjong table, embedding itself in the wood, trembling and humming.

Everyone present saw it, and their expressions changed dramatically. They quickly rose and bowed respectfully to Ye Feng.

"We greet the Marshal!"

Jiang Long froze for a second before it dawned on him. He looked at Ye Feng and said in a cold voice:

"Where did you get that Token?"

Ouyang Qiu replied coldly, "Her Majesty the Queen personally appointed Ye Feng as the Marshal of the War Department. Where do you think the Token came from?"

"Appointed by Her Majesty the Queen? Heh heh..." Upon hearing this, Jiang Long let out a cold laugh. "My mentor, Chancellor Kong Wei, calls the shots in Malaysia now. Her Majesty the Queen has no say anymore. So your title of ’Marshal,’ or whatever the hell it is, doesn’t scare me..."

Before he could finish, Ye Feng’s hand shot out, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him into the air.

Jiang Long looked at Ye Feng and sneered, "What do you think you’re doing? Are you going to disrespect me? Let me tell you, if you so much as touch a hair on my head, my mentor will never let you get away with it..."

The words were barely out of his mouth when Ye Feng’s right hand tightened abruptly. A sickening CRUNCH of breaking bones echoed as Jiang Long’s neck was snapped.

Jiang Long let out a blood-curdling scream that was cut short the next moment. He stared at Ye Feng, his eyes filled with utter disbelief.

Ye Feng looked down at Jiang Long and said coldly, "I’d dare to deal with Kong Wei, let alone an ant like you!"

Jiang Long’s mouth opened as if to say something, but in the next instant, his pupils dilated. His head lolled to the side, and he died a violent death.

The other men behind him stared at Ye Feng and shrieked, "You... you actually dared to kill Vice Marshal Jiang..."

Before they could finish, Ye Feng snatched a longsword from a table and swung it violently. Several heads were lopped off in unison, and their bodies crashed to the floor.

Ye Feng looked at the bodies and said coldly, "I didn’t just dare to kill him. I dare to kill you all, too!"

Everyone else in the room stared at Ye Feng, their faces ashen with terror.

’He just kills people on a whim. This is too ruthless!’

At that moment, Yang Hai, who was standing to the side, looked at Ye Feng with a mournful expression and cried out, "Marshal, a powerful enemy is at our gates, and we are in dire need of manpower! Yet you’ve killed all these commanders. Who will defend against the enemy now?"
