Chapter 400: Ye Feng, I’ll Send You on Your Way
Chapter 400: Chapter 400: Ye Feng, I’ll Send You on Your Way
But Ye Feng shook his head. "Uncle Han, I have a rule: I never abandon my family to escape alone, and I won’t be breaking it today. What’s more, they’re from the Underworld. I’ve said it before—if I see anyone from the Underworld, they die."
Blood Phoenix’s eyes instantly brightened as she looked at Ye Feng.
’Whoa, he’s so manly right now.’
At that moment, Ye Feng pointed at Judge Yang, Ning Hao, and their entourage, stating coldly, "Which means that today, none of you are leaving."
"Haha..." The moment Ye Feng finished speaking, Judge Yang burst into wild laughter. "You want to keep us all here? You’re quite the big talker. Today, I’ll show you who’s really going to die here."
With that, his body flickered, and in an instant, he was in front of Ye Feng. He raised his right fist and smashed it ferociously toward Ye Feng’s temple.
Behind them, Han Qiang cried out frantically, "Ye Feng, you’re no match for him! Run, run!"
But before he could finish, Ye Feng’s right hand shot out and clamped around Judge Yang’s neck. He squeezed, and a sickening CRUNCH of shattering bone echoed.
Han Qiang watched in horror as Ye Feng crushed Judge Yang’s neck. Before the Judge could even let out a scream, he was dead.
Han Qiang’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. That was a Tier Five Martial Immortal, yet Ye Feng had just choked him to death as if he were nothing. ’He’s... he’s that powerful?’
But a moment later, his expression crumbled. He stared at Ye Feng and shrieked, "Ye Feng, how could you be so reckless? How could you kill him?! You’ve just brought a world of trouble down on us! You have to go, go now! Otherwise, you really won’t be able to leave!"
But the moment he finished speaking, Ning Hao, who was standing nearby, let out a cold sneer. "Killed one of my Underworld men and you think you can just leave? In your dreams!"
He looked at Ye Feng and said coldly, "Scum. I didn’t expect you to have some skill. But in my presence, you’re nothing but a joke."
With that, he called out nonchalantly, "King of the Wheel, where are you?"
"Present." Following the voice, an old man in a green robe stepped out from the crowd and stood before Ning Hao.
Seeing the green-robed old man, Han Qiang screamed, "The King of the Wheel! It’s really the King of the Wheel!"
The next moment, his face turned deathly pale.
He never imagined that Ning Hao had brought someone so terrifying with him. He knew that now, even if Ye Feng wanted to leave, he wouldn’t be able to.
Ning Hao looked at Ye Feng and sneered. "To be able to take out Judge Yang, you must be at the peak of Tier Five Martial Immortal, right? But do you have any idea what cultivation level the King of the Wheel is at? I’ll tell you: he’s a Tier Six Martial Immortal.
"So, you have no right to act so arrogantly before me. You’re still going to die here today."
Finishing his speech, he looked at the King of the Wheel and ordered coldly, "Go. Tear him to pieces for me."
The King of the Wheel nodded. His body flickered and abruptly vanished. The next instant, he reappeared before Ye Feng like a phantom, his right palm raised and smashing toward Ye Feng’s heart.
The King of the Wheel’s attack was on another level; his aura was easily ten times more powerful than Judge Yang’s. Before his palm even landed, the sheer force of the strike washed through the room. The tables and chairs in the hall were swept up by the blast, flying sideways into the walls. They shattered on impact, sending splinters and chunks of wood flying everywhere.
The oppressive aura washed over Han Qiang, and he felt his breathing grow heavy.
He wanted to go help Ye Feng, but he felt an invisible barrier blocking his path. No matter how hard he pushed, he couldn’t break through. He watched as the King of the Wheel’s palm drew closer and closer to Ye Feng, and his heart sank into his stomach.
He lowered his head, defeated. He knew Ye Feng was finished, completely done for.
But the next moment, he heard a deafening BOOM, followed by an agonized scream. The sound wasn’t right. He looked up, confused, and the sight that met his eyes almost made them pop out of his head.
He watched, wide-eyed, as the King of the Wheel lay sprawled on the ground, vomiting mouthfuls of blood visibly mixed with chunks of his internal organs.
He struggled to raise his head, looked at Ye Feng, and croaked, "You... you..."
But a moment later, he went limp and collapsed, twitching for a moment before falling still.
Han Qiang’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
’Who was the King of the Wheel? He was one of the Ten Yama Kings of the Underworld, a major figure at the Tier Six Martial Immortal level! In the Underworld, aside from the Five Ghost Emperors and the Fengdu Emperor at the very top, the Ten Yama Kings were practically invincible in this outer domain. And yet, Ye Feng had just defeated him in a single move?’
’Am I seeing things?’
Han Qiang forcefully rubbed his eyes and looked again. He wasn’t mistaken. He really wasn’t. The man lying on the ground was, in fact, the King of the Wheel.
Han Qiang looked at Ye Feng, his expression filled with utter disbelief. ’This kid... he’s really this powerful?’
A flicker of apprehension flashed through Ning Hao’s eyes as he looked at Ye Feng, but it vanished as quickly as it appeared. He sneered, "Kid, I really did underestimate you. I didn’t expect you to be at the peak of Tier Six Martial Immortal. But so what? You’re still going to die today."
Then, he pointed to himself and said coldly, "Do you know what my cultivation level is? I might as well tell you: Tier Seven Martial Immortal. So you have no right to act so arrogant in front of me."
"You... you’re a Tier Seven Martial Immortal expert?" Han Qiang stared at Ning Hao, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.
He had always thought Ning Hao was just a good-for-nothing who only got to throw his weight around because of his father. He’d never imagined that Ning Hao was hiding his strength so well, that he was a figure even more terrifying than the King of the Wheel.
He felt his heart seize up. ’How can we fight this? What chance do we have now?’
’Forget Ye Feng, everyone here is going to be wiped out today.’
In that moment, Han Qiang was filled with regret. He regretted scheming against the Underworld, against Ning Hao. Now look what happened. He hadn’t just dragged Ye Feng into this mess, he’d doomed his entire family as well.
At that, Ning Hao started walking toward Ye Feng. "Kid, it’s getting late, and I have a beauty to enjoy. So, let’s just send you on your way."
As he spoke, he raised his right fist. Instantly, a tangible seal in the shape of a fist materialized in the air, radiating a terrifying pressure. Many people in the hall couldn’t withstand the force and were sent flying.
Even Han Qiang couldn’t handle the pressure; his mouth fell open and he coughed up another mouthful of blood.
Just then, Ning Hao thrust his right fist down toward Ye Feng.
The fist seal in the air crashed down toward Ye Feng like a small mountain.
Han Qiang looked at Ye Feng, his hope completely extinguished.
’There’s no way Ye Feng can block such a terrifying attack. He’s dead. He’s absolutely dead.’
But just as the fist seal was less than three feet from his head, Ye Feng—who had been standing there as if frozen in fear—finally moved. He casually swept his right hand downward.
