Chapter 416: Chapter 415: Ling’Er, Come Help Me Rule the Harem

Below Ning Xuan sat an elder in red robes.

He was the leader of the Five Ghost Emperors, the Central Ghost Emperor.

The Central Ghost Emperor looked at An Xuan, his brow furrowed. "Great Emperor, I sent an army of one hundred thousand to Tongtian City to seek justice for the Young Master, but they were annihilated. Even the Northern Ghost Emperor himself fell in Tongtian City!

The one responsible was none other than that Ye Feng!

"To be able to defeat the Northern Ghost Emperor... I estimate his cultivation has already reached the peak of a Tier Eight Martial Immortal!"

An Xuan chuckled. "To skyrocket from a nobody Martial God to the peak of a Tier Eight Martial Immortal in just six months... It seems the rumors were true. That thing really can help someone’s cultivation advance at an incredible speed!"

The Central Ghost Emperor looked at An Xuan. "Great Emperor, are you saying that thing is on Ye Feng?"

An Xuan chuckled. "Is there any other explanation?"

An elder in white robes below them, the Eastern Ghost Emperor, spoke up, his eyes gleaming. "Great Emperor, does this mean we can finally kill those two stubborn old fools?"

An Xuan looked to the Central Ghost Emperor, who shook his head and said,

"Don’t forget those old fossils backing Ye Feng. If they make a move, it could introduce unforeseen variables. I say we keep these two old men alive. We can use them to blackmail Ye Feng into handing over the item without a fight."

The Eastern Ghost Emperor looked at the Central Ghost Emperor with a puzzled expression. "But aren’t those old fossils bound by the rules? I thought they couldn’t leave the Kunlun Sect so easily."

The Central Ghost Emperor shook his head. "Ye Feng is extremely important to those old men. They will never allow him to perish.

"If Ye Feng’s life were truly in danger, they would very likely disregard the rules and take action."

He then turned to An Xuan. "Great Emperor, my advice is to let those two live for the time being."

"Granted," An Xuan said nonchalantly.

Just then, a subordinate entered to report. "Reporting to the Great Emperor! Han Qiang of Tongtian City, allied with the Deng family and others, has entered the Cloudmist Forest! They are heading for Yama Valley! It is clear their intentions are hostile to our Underworld!"

Upon hearing this, the Southern Ghost Emperor scoffed,

"A pack of ants daring to offend the dignity of the Underworld? They’re courting death!"

With that, he rose to his feet, looked at An Xuan, and declared in a firm voice, "Great Emperor, I request to lead our men to exterminate these ants who dare to challenge the Underworld’s honor!"

"Granted," An Xuan said nonchalantly.

The Southern Ghost Emperor accepted his orders and departed.

The Central Ghost Emperor smiled at An Xuan. "Great Emperor, you were just thinking of finding that young man, and now he’s delivered himself to your doorstep. He’s here to hand you a treasure!"

An Xuan chuckled as well. "Tell me, if I get my hands on that thing, do you think I could rule the world?"

"Absolutely!" the Central Ghost Emperor replied without a moment’s hesitation.

An Xuan chuckled, his gaze drifting into the distance as he murmured, ’The taste of ruling the world... I’d very much like to try it.’

...

Cloudmist Forest.

Black Wind Pass.

Black Wind Pass was flanked by steep, imposing cliffs, leaving only a single narrow passage between them. A dark wind howled through this passage all year round, giving the place its name.

Just then, Duncan glanced at Han Qiang. "Brother Han, have you ever been to Black Wind Pass before?"

Han Qiang shook his head. "I’ve heard this place is not only overrun with ferocious beasts but also filled with a toxic miasma. More importantly, it’s less than twenty kilometers from the Underworld’s territory. To come here is to provoke them directly, so I’ve never set foot in this area before."

Duncan murmured, "My people have been here before... but they were annihilated."

As he spoke, a look of terror crossed Duncan’s face.

Han Qiang’s face paled as well. He turned to look at Ye Feng, but Ye Feng was as unshakable as a mountain. "Black Wind Pass? So what? Our target today is the Underworld itself!"

Seeing Ye Feng’s absolute confidence, both Duncan’s and Han Qiang’s eyes lit up. ’Right, we came here today with those powerful figures backing Ye Feng,’ they thought. ’What’s there to be afraid of?’

With that, Duncan turned to Deng Ling’Er and shouted with clenched teeth,

"Daughter, give the order! Let’s charge in and kill them!"

But Deng Ling’Er shook her head and smiled. "The mountains are treacherous, and the pass is narrow. This is the perfect place to set a trap!"

She then turned to Duncan. "Dad, take your men and go... " She quickly and quietly laid out his part of the plan.

"You got it!" Duncan’s eyes lit up. He acknowledged the order and departed.

Deng Ling’Er then turned to Wolf Fang. "Wolf Fang, your orders!"

"Present!" Wolf Fang stepped forward.

"You will take your men and..." Deng Ling’Er issued another set of instructions.

"Yes, Ma’am!" Wolf Fang replied, then quickly led the Qilin Battalion away.

Deng Ling’Er turned to Chen Yun’Er with a lovely smile. "Sister, I’m going to have to trouble you this time. I need you to..." She then explained the next part of the plan.

"Got it," Chen Yun’Er agreed, and she and Han Qiang swiftly departed with the contingent from Tongtian City.

Deng Ling’Er looked at Blood Phoenix, smiling. "Sister, you’ll be playing the lead role today..."

She then laid out the plan for her.

Blood Phoenix then swiftly departed with her Blood Phoenix Mercenary Corps.

"Ye Feng, your orders! Ye Feng... Ye Feng! Where did you run off to?!" Deng Ling’Er looked all around, only to find Ye Feng lying in a patch of grass, dozing with his eyes closed.

A vein throbbed on Deng Ling’Er’s forehead. She marched over and grabbed Ye Feng by the ear.

"Get up!"

Ye Feng yelped, clutching his ear. "Gently, gently! It’s gonna fall off!"

Ye Feng scrambled to his feet and looked at Deng Ling’Er. "Your plan is brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! I’ll do whatever you say!"

Deng Ling’Er glared at Ye Feng. "Save it. You’re not getting off easy today. You need to..." She gave him his instructions.

"Fine," Ye Feng nodded and turned to leave.

After taking a few steps, he turned back to Deng Ling’Er with a cheeky grin. "Hey, Ling’Er, I have a few other wives, you know. That method you used to win over Phoenix was pretty impressive. You can help me manage my harem in the future!"
