Zhang Tianshun said with a wry smile, “Old Fourth, I really can’t hide anything from you, can I? You’re right. Xiaofeng is thin-skinned. If we don’t give him a push, he won’t get together with those girls. The enemy will be here soon, and the great battle is about to begin. If Xiaofeng doesn’t activate the Exquisite Jade Pagoda, what will he fight them with?”

Zheng Changlong looked at Zhang Tianshun, asking with great interest, “Old Third, can you tell me just what level Xiaofeng’s cultivation has reached?”

Zhang Tianshun looked at Zheng Changlong, chuckled, and said, “He could easily wipe the floor with Gu Zhetian.”

Zheng Changlong burst out laughing. “Excellent, excellent! The boy hasn’t let down our teachings, haha…”

…

「At the same time,」

On the summit of Scorpion Mountain.

Qiao Dongliang was directing his forces, mopping up the remaining members of the Celestial Decree.

The top Celestial Decrees had been dealt with by Ye Feng, and the rest were all wiped out by Qiao Ling’Er, whose cultivation had suddenly surged.

The remaining members of the Celestial Decree, scared out of their wits, scattered and fled.

Qiao Dongliang brandished his greatsword and roared, “Brothers, slaughter them all! Leave no one alive!”

“Kill!”

“Kill!”

“Kill!”

The men behind him charged toward the fleeing members of the Celestial Decree.

Qiao Dongliang laughed heartily. “From this day forward, the Celestial Decree will be no more.”

But the words had barely left his lips when a sinister voice echoed from ahead. “Destroy the Celestial Decree? You… are not worthy!”

As the voice faded, a figure appeared out of thin air, cloaked in a black robe that obscured their face.

He was clearly standing right there, yet Qiao Dongliang couldn’t sense the slightest hint of an aura.

It was as if he didn’t exist at all.

Just as Qiao Dongliang was wondering who this person was, Behemoth cried out from behind him, “The Grand Celestial Judge! It’s the Grand Celestial Judge, Gu Zhetian!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the Celestial Decree members behind them all dropped to their knees and shouted in unison, “Subordinates greet the Grand Celestial Judge!”

“The Grand Celestial Judge… You’re the Grand Celestial Judge!” Qiao Dongliang shrieked at the black-robed figure, his face instantly turning deathly pale.

Gu Zhetian looked at Qiao Dongliang and let out a soft chuckle. The next instant, he raised his right foot and stomped it down.

In an instant, a terrifying shockwave radiated out from him.

The members of the Qiao family who had reached the summit, the mercenaries from the Mercenary Guild, and the warriors of the Beast Race didn’t even have time to scream before they all exploded into a fine mist of blood.

Even Qiao Dongliang was sent flying, coughing up mouthfuls of blood in mid-air. He was clearly severely injured.

“Dad!” Qiao Ling’Er screamed, lunging forward to catch Qiao Dongliang. She gently lowered him to the ground, but his eyes had already rolled back in his head as he lost consciousness.

Feng Qingwu rushed over and began to treat Qiao Dongliang’s wounds.

Qiao Ling’Er glared at Gu Zhetian, her eyes turning frigid. “You hurt my father. You die.”

With that, she stamped her feet and charged at Gu Zhetian.

“I’m with you!” Mu Qingyun shouted, drawing her sword and charging after Qiao Ling’Er toward Gu Zhetian.

Gu Zhetian stood his ground, motionless. Just as their swords were about to run him through, he bellowed a single word: “BEGONE!”

The force of his roar shattered the mountaintop. Huge boulders flew everywhere, crashing down the slopes and crushing countless more warriors of the Beast Race. Qiao Ling’Er and Mu Qingyun were flung sideways, slamming hard into the ground and vomiting blood without end.

One move was all it took to severely wound them.

“Second Senior Sister! Ling’Er!” Feng Qingwu cried out, rushing to treat both of their injuries.

Gu Zhetian looked over at Mu Qingyun and Qiao Ling’Er and chuckled. “To have reached Dao Venerable Tier Eight at your age is impressive, I’ll admit. But before me, it’s nothing at all!”

He then turned to the pale-faced Behemoth and chuckled again. “Behemoth. Someone like you thought you could challenge my Celestial Decree? Do you really think you’re worthy?”

Behemoth stared at Gu Zhetian, his face now completely drained of color.

‘One stomp, and twenty thousand people died. One roar, and thousands more were crushed by falling rocks. This… this man is a walking slaughterhouse!’

‘Now, even masters at the level of Mu Qingyun and Qiao Ling’Er, both Dao Venerable Tier Eight, were defeated in a single blow. Who here today could possibly stand against Gu Zhetian?’

Gu Zhetian sneered at Behemoth. “You have offended the dignity of the Celestial Decree, and for that, you must all pay the price. I’ll start by sending you on your way.”

With that, he took a single, casual step forward.

But to Behemoth’s horror, that single step covered fifty meters in an instant, placing Gu Zhetian directly in front of him. Gu Zhetian raised his right palm and brought it crashing down toward Behemoth’s head.

Behemoth wanted to dodge, but he felt an immense pressure pinning him down, as if crushed beneath a mountain. It was a struggle to even remain standing, let alone flee. All he could do was watch helplessly as that palm descended, closer and closer…

Behemoth’s heart plunged into despair. ‘It’s over. I’m finished.’

But just then, a figure appeared in a flash, intercepting Gu Zhetian’s fatal blow.

An earth-shattering BOOM echoed out. The next thing Behemoth knew, his body felt light as he was pulled aside.

“Thank you for saving my…” Behemoth started to say, but the words caught in his throat. His eyes widened in shock as he stared at his rescuer, finally crying out, “It’s you!”
