Chapter 517: The Reaper Set

The newcomer was none other than Rhea.

Gu Zhetian stared at Rhea, his eyes filled with disbelief. “Rhea, how did you suddenly become so powerful?”

Gu Zhetian was clearly a Dao Emperor-level existence. Behemoth himself had been powerless before Gu Zhetian, yet Rhea had managed to take a palm strike from him. This meant Rhea had, at the very least, reached the Dao Emperor’s cultivation level.

‘But Rhea was clearly only at Tier One of the Dao Venerable realm. How did her cultivation become so terrifying in just a moment?’

Rhea shook her head. “Father, wait until I’ve killed this bastard. I’ll explain everything then.”

With that, she bent down, picked up the beast bone from the ground, and pointed it at Gu Zhetian. “Old bastard, you dare harm my father? You’re dead!”

Her body flickered like a phantom, and in an instant, she was before Gu Zhetian, swinging the massive beast bone in her hand straight down toward his head.

The bone whistled through the air, arriving above Gu Zhetian’s head in the blink of an eye, about to smash into his skull.

Was Gu Zhetian, that old monster, actually going to be bludgeoned to death by Rhea?

The eyes of the crowd went wide.

But in the next instant, the crowd watched as Gu Zhetian’s right hand shot up, his index and middle fingers spreading apart to firmly catch the beast bone.

No matter how hard Rhea struggled, the bone wouldn’t budge another inch.

Gu Zhetian looked at Rhea and chuckled. “To have reached Tier One of the Dao Emperor realm at such a young age is impressive, I’ll admit. But to act so insolently before me? You’re not worthy!”

As he spoke, he violently lifted his right foot and kicked Rhea squarely in the stomach.

With a deafening BOOM, Rhea was sent flying like a cannonball, disappearing from sight in an instant.

Everyone present was stunned. They had thought Rhea might be able to turn the tables, but now they understood—that was just wishful thinking.

“Rhea, my daughter!” Behemoth screamed, about to charge down the mountain. But in the next instant, a dark figure suddenly appeared before him.

It was Gu Zhetian.

Gu Zhetian looked at Behemoth and sneered. “Trying to leave? In your dreams. Anyone who dares defy the authority of the Adjudicators will die. Not a single one of you will escape!”

With that, he raised his right palm high and brought it crashing down toward Behemoth’s head!

“My King!” The masters behind him screamed, trying to rush forward and save Behemoth. However, they were pinned in place by an utterly terrifying pressure, unable to move an inch. All they could do was watch helplessly as that powerful, heavy palm was about to smash down on Behemoth’s head.

Everyone’s hearts sank. ‘It’s over for Behemoth,’ they thought, ‘and we’re all next.’

But just as everyone had sunk into utter despair, a figure abruptly appeared in front of Behemoth. He raised his right fist and threw a punch directly at Gu Zhetian’s descending palm.

BOOM!

Following an earth-shattering bang, the crowd watched with wide eyes as the seemingly invincible Gu Zhetian was sent flying, crashing into the side of the mountain.

CRACK!

The cliffside shattered on impact, sending dust and rock fragments flying everywhere!

Everyone’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Gu Zhetian had been sent flying in a single blow. Who… who on earth was that powerful?

Everyone turned in confusion to look at the newcomer, and their eyes widened in shock. It was Ye Feng.

Ye Feng’s injuries had completely healed; not a single scar remained on his body. He stood there looking impossibly handsome and cool.

Ye Feng watched Gu Zhetian walk over and said in a cold voice,

“You want to kill the king? I’m afraid I can’t allow that.”

Behind him, Qiao Ling’Er and the others snapped to their senses. They looked at Ye Feng and shouted frantically, “Ye Feng, that’s Gu Zhetian, the Chief Adjudicator, leader of the Adjudicators! He’s at least a Tier Two Dao Emperor! You can’t beat him! Get out of here, or you’ll die too!”

But her words had barely faded when Gu Zhetian was already standing before Ye Feng. He looked at him and sneered, “Trying to run? In your dreams!

“Brat, to think you’ve already reached this level of cultivation… It seems the ability of that Exquisite Jade Pagoda to raise one’s power is truly heaven-defying. Thank you. Thank you for delivering such a treasure to me. To show my gratitude, I’ve decided to leave your corpse intact!”

He then pointed to Mu Qingyun and the other girls behind Ye Feng, letting out a sinister laugh.

“And I’ll be keeping all of these girls, too. I’ll take very good care of them for you. I promise to make them ecstatic every single night. I’ll never let them get lonely, haha…”

But before his laughter could fade, Ye Feng delivered a flying kick straight to his stomach. With another deafening BOOM, the crowd watched, stunned, as Gu Zhetian was once again sent flying, this time embedding himself in the rock face.

Seeing this, the crowd’s eyes nearly bulged from their sockets. The first time Ye Feng sent Gu Zhetian flying could be explained as a sneak attack. But this time, it was a direct, head-on clash, and he *still* sent him flying. ‘How did Ye Feng get so strong?’

By now, Gu Zhetian had struggled free from the rock. He stared at Ye Feng, his eyes filled with disbelief. “You… you’re just like me now? You’ve reached Tier Three of the Dao Emperor realm?”

Ye Feng stared back at Gu Zhetian, saying nothing.

Gu Zhetian looked at Ye Feng and suddenly broke into a cold sneer. “You truly are full of surprises. But that’s all it is—a surprise. You want to turn the tables? You’re dreaming!”

As his voice fell, his will flared. A suit of jet-black armor instantly materialized around him, and a blood-red scythe appeared in his right hand.

Instantly, his aura skyrocketed. An impossibly terrifying killing intent flooded the area. The surrounding boulders and trees couldn’t withstand its pressure and instantly shattered into dust.

Behemoth saw this and couldn’t help but cry out, “The Death God Set! That’s the Death God Set!”
