Chapter 55: Chapter 55: Brother Ah Dao Arrives

"Could you try not to be so direct? Can’t you be a little more subtle? A little more tactful? Set the mood a little, hmm?" Wang Luyao said, giving Ye Feng a sultry look.

Ye Feng scratched his head, a puzzled look on his face. "Do you really need to set the mood just to see your chest?"

"You’re such a blockhead. A total blockhead." Wang Luyao was furious. "I’m hungry. You’re taking me out to eat first. We can talk after I’m full. And trust me, I’m going to bleed you dry with this meal."

...

「A dozen or so minutes later.」

In Private Room Seven of Chunjiang Restaurant, Wang Luyao had ordered a table full of dishes and was digging in with gusto.

Just then, Ye Feng’s phone rang. He answered, listened for a moment, then hung up. Looking at Wang Luyao, he said, "Wang Luyao, my second sister just finished cataloging all of the Li family’s assets. She said they’re for me, but I don’t have any use for them. Why don’t I just give them all to you?"

"PFFT—" Wang Luyao sprayed a mouthful of tea everywhere. She stared at Ye Feng, her voice trembling as she cried out, "The Li family? That’s nearly a billion in assets! Are you sure you want to give it all to me?"

"Yep." Ye Feng nodded.

"Ye Feng, I freaking love you!" Wang Luyao excitedly leaned over and planted a big, loud kiss on his cheek. Then, with a sultry gaze, she purred:

"Ye Feng, is this my betrothal gift?"

"You’re reading too much into it," Ye Feng said seriously. "It’s the fee for looking at your chest."

"Ye Feng, I’ll kill you!" Wang Luyao nearly went insane with rage. She balled her fists and started pummeling him wildly.

After venting her anger, Wang Luyao glared at Ye Feng. "Ye Feng, if you want to see... *there*... you have to give me a reason. Otherwise, forget it."

Ye Feng considered this for a moment before finally speaking. "The truth is... I want to see your chest to confirm if you’re someone."

"Who?"

"A girl I loved deeply." Ye Feng picked up his wine glass, drained it in one go, and murmured, "We were separated for ten years and lost contact long ago. My only clue is that she used to live in the Baihua Residential Area... and that she has a dark mole on her chest."

"So this whole time, you’ve been asking to see my chest just to confirm whether I’m the girl you love?" Wang Luyao’s eyes suddenly lit up.

Ye Feng nodded, his voice turning hoarse. "Yes. She saved my life back then. Now that I’m back, I have to find her, give her a thousand times more love, and make her the happiest person in the entire world."

Wang Luyao was deeply moved by his story. She looked at Ye Feng, her eyes sparkling.

A glint appeared in her eye. She looked at Ye Feng, blushing, and said, "Ye Feng... I’m a proper lady. If you’re going to... look at my body, we should at least get a hotel room. Otherwise... I-I feel like it’s too... too casual."

"Okay. I’ll... I’ll go get a room. I’ll text you the room number in a bit." Ye Feng nodded, downed another glass of wine, then stood up and walked out, his steps a little unsteady.

Wang Luyao left the restaurant immediately. She quickly found a tattoo parlor and told the female artist, "I need a tattoo. And make it fast!"

...

Ye Feng went to the nearby Emperor Hotel, booked a room, and waited for Wang Luyao.

He was thrilled. ’Today, I can finally confirm Wang Luyao’s identity! Maybe... maybe she’s the girl I’ve been searching for all this time!’

But just then, his phone began to ring insistently. Ye Feng answered, his breath smelling of alcohol as he spoke. "Ye Feng here."

An excited voice crackled over the line. "Bro, it’s me, Ah Dao! I’m here to find you!"

Ye Feng’s eyes lit up instantly. "Ah Dao! Where are you?"

Ah Dao was an orphan whom their Master had brought to the mountain to train in martial arts alongside Ye Feng. They were as close as blood brothers, so how could Ye Feng not be overjoyed to hear his voice?

"Bro, I’m at the train station! Master sent me to help you, but I’m starving! I’ve already chewed through half the ginseng I was bringing for you. Please come get me!" Ah Dao’s voice was on the verge of tears.

"Okay, stay put. I’ll drive over and get you right now." Ye Feng hung up and hurried out of the hotel. Just as he got to the entrance, he ran right into Wang Luyao, who was just walking in.

"Ye Feng? Weren’t... weren’t you going to look at my... you-know-what? Where are you off to?" Wang Luyao asked, confused.

"My brother’s here. I have to go pick him up. I’ve already got the room—it’s 705. Here," Ye Feng handed the key card to Wang Luyao, "this is the key card. Go wait for me in the room." He then hurried to the roadside, hailed a taxi, and sped off toward the airport.

Wang Luyao didn’t think much of it. She took the key card, turned back into the hotel, and went up to room 705. She took a shower, put on some light makeup, and lay down on the bed. After a moment’s thought, she took off all her clothes. Her face beet red, she whispered, ’Ye Feng, I’m ready... I’ll be waiting for you...’
