Chapter 1283: Chapter 1281: Instance Arrangement

"Little junior, we already talked about the dungeon during the last gathering.

However, we didn’t specify the timing.

The teacher is quite generous with us. With the Contract Dungeon and two different Legion Dungeons, each week, a new one can be opened.

And each dungeon allows five players to enter at once.

The teacher has fifteen students who haven’t graduated yet.

This means that with a good schedule, each player can participate in a dungeon once a week.

We gather here every Monday to distribute dungeons.

This time, since it’s your first participation, you can join all three dungeons.

Next Monday, you’ll join us in analyzing the dungeon requirements and assignments to decide which dungeon you’d like to participate in."

With Liu Niu’s explanation, Gu Xi understood.

Every student has these dungeon benefits.

It’s just that which dungeon you get depends on the manpower required by the dungeon and what rewards you need.

Generally, everyone gets a share of the dungeon; there won’t be a situation where you can’t get a turn.

Plus, dungeons can be repeatedly played.

For these players, being a week early or a week late doesn’t make much difference.

"We were supposed to refresh the dungeon this week.

But since Little Junior is here,

next week we’ll start rescheduling rotations. This week we’ll consider it as us senior brothers guiding Little Junior through the dungeon to get familiar with the requirements."

The others nodded in agreement.

Then, the information on the three dungeons was placed in front of Gu Xi.

"Little Junior, for the Contract Dungeon, you only need to arrange for a Contracted Undead to join the battle.

Usually, it’s preferable to challenge with a combat-oriented Contracted Undead to strengthen combat power.

Of course, if you don’t have a suitable combat-oriented Contracted Undead, you can also arrange some support types. Generally, the Contract Dungeon itself isn’t too difficult. Three supporting two isn’t a problem.

However, there’s something to note about the rewards in the Contract Dungeon.

If it’s four supporting one, or three supporting two, the supported Contracted Undead can only gain experience, not equipment.

If you participate, the equipment distribution is different — it’s either randomly assigned, ensuring everyone has a chance,

or agreed upon before entering the dungeon, specifying the desired items, excluding other dungeon resources.

Additionally, during random equipment distribution, tanks have priority.

You need to understand this as tanks risk their lives the most.

For Legion Dungeons, it depends on how you arrange your Heroes and Leaders.

The best scenario is to arrange comprehensive Heroes and Leaders.

But everyone understands not all Heroes and Leaders are comprehensive.

Sometimes, specific expertise is required for certain dungeons.

During such situations, specialized Heroes and Leaders are needed.

We’ll request this a week in advance. If you don’t have suitable Heroes or Leaders, you can choose to opt-out.

Or exchange dungeon access with other senior brothers.

However, compared to Contract Dungeons, the resources from Legion Dungeons are more important to us.

They mainly produce abundant resources, including numerous corpses."

Liu Niu succinctly explained the situation regarding dungeons.

"These are the three dungeons this time.

Which type is your Contracted Undead?"

"Tank."

Gu Xi replied intermittently, "Combat-type Tank."

"Bro, you’re really something."

Everyone looked over upon hearing Gu Xi’s words.

They didn’t expect Gu Xi to have such a Contracted Undead.

Gu Xi just smiled, and a small door opened behind him.

The Contract Puppet Jade walked out.

After some hesitation, Gu Xi eventually decided to let Yu participate in battle.

This might draw attention to Yu, but it would allow Yu to improve swiftly.

When Yu stepped forward, everyone focused their attention on Yu.

They could see that all of Yu’s equipment was purple.

Most importantly, beneath Yu’s set of Golden Armor, his skin was jade-colored.

When Yu stood there, everyone felt Yu’s presence was quite peculiar — as if they hadn’t noticed him.

"Spirit-type ability?"

"His skin looks somewhat like that of a Diamond Man. That’s quite impressive, resisting 95% magic."

"Not just magic resistance, likely magic reflection as well. Besides, a Diamond Man’s defense power is strong. With that Golden Armor, he’s capable of stalling enemies as a tank."

"But this isn’t a Contracted Undead, right?"

"Doesn’t matter; it’s Little Junior’s contracted creature. Whether it’s undead isn’t important.

But Little Junior, your contracted creature’s quality is quite high.

Its combat power is a bit lacking, otherwise, it’d solo a dungeon."

"No, not as good as Senior Brothers."

Let’s settle my contract creature to participate in the Contract Dungeon."

"Okay, with a main tank in place, there’s nothing to worry about.

That’s settled, your contracted creature is included.

Onward with the Contract Dungeon, with rewards randomly distributed afterward."

Hearing this, Gu Xi smiled and turned to Yu.

"Yu, just join in, we’ll aim high in battle experience."

Yu understood well. Gu Xi needed him to mature quickly.

If possible, grow to Level 20 to master the first Combat Aura.

If not, at least reach Level 19 to assist Gu Xi during crises.

As a contracted subordinate, his growth depended on experience.

Experience comes from each battle and kill.

Dungeons in front offer Yu a crucial opportunity.

The weekly refreshed dungeons provided abundant experience for rapid level advancement.

Continuous battles test Yu’s use of all equipment.

Acquainting him with weapon and armor usage.

And learning to coordinate with others during combat.

Arranging a few Contracted Undead to join Yu in the Contract Dungeon, more players gathered around.

"With the Contract Dungeon ready, let’s tackle the Legion Dungeon.

Currently, two dungeons; the large one requires a Leader Level leading a regular regiment level force, with troops between five thousand and eight thousand, ideally a comprehensive leader.

The smaller one requires a Hero leading a regular battalion level force, with troops over three thousand, less than five thousand, could be a Lancer, Shooter, or other specialized units."
