Around 12:40 PM, Luo Yaqian’s car stopped at the school entrance.

Wang Chenning, who was already waiting there, saw the car pull up and immediately walked over.

Elegantly dressed to look both young and poised, Luo Yaqian stepped out of the car and offered her hand to Wang Chenning. "Hello, Xiaowang. I’ll have to trouble you this afternoon!"

"Would you mind driving for us?" Luo Yaqian gestured to the chauffeur, who had gotten out and was now standing by the car. "She has another errand to run, and my driving is terrible."

Wang Chenning knew this was just an excuse. Luo Yaqian wanted to speak with him privately on the way, which was why she was dismissing the driver.

He didn’t point it out and readily agreed.

Wang Chenning expertly started the car and drove away from the school gates under the curious gazes of many onlookers.

"Aunt Luo, you look so young!" Wang Chenning initiated the conversation. "If you and Xiao’an stood together, no one would believe you’re mother and daughter. Everyone would assume you were sisters!"

"Thank you," Luo Yaqian said, then replied with a smile, "Yuqing tells me you can help a woman preserve her youth for at least a decade longer."

"If they start my treatments while they’re still young, I can help them preserve their youth for at least twenty years," Wang Chenning said, glancing at Luo Yaqian. "Forgive me for asking, Aunt Luo, but how old are you?"

"I’m exactly fifty. I’m an old woman now," Luo Yaqian sighed. "I’m even starting to go through menopause."

"I never would have guessed you were fifty," Wang Chenning said, glancing at her again. "But it’s true that a woman’s body begins to decline after thirty. The process accelerates after forty, and many women go through menopause after fifty. However, Aunt Luo, you have a strong constitution and you obviously take good care of yourself, so yours likely started later. If I help you with some conditioning treatments, I’m sure your physical health will improve to a certain degree. If you still wanted to have another child, it would be entirely possible!"

"Have a child at my age? How could I possibly!" Luo Yaqian glanced at Wang Chenning and chuckled. "I’d be a laughingstock!"

"Well, thank you for that." Unwilling to let Wang Chenning control the conversation, Luo Yaqian thanked him and then cut straight to the point. "By the way, how long have you and Xiao’an known each other?"

"Less than a month, I believe." Wang Chenning’s smile faded as he thought back seriously. "I had only been in Yandu for a few days. Xiao’an came to the hospital for an interview, and Lu Yuanshan put me forward. That’s the day we met. It should have been February 19th."

"Had you been in a relationship before meeting Xiao’an?"

"No," Wang Chenning said, shaking his head. "All these years, I’ve been focused on honing my skills. Besides, I’ve known since I was a boy that I was bound by a marriage contract, so I never had any other ideas."

Wang Chenning smiled. "For now, I’ve agreed to continue pretending to be Yang Xiaofei’s fiancé for a while to help her ward off unwanted advances. I also need to appease my grandfather, and I’m hoping to secure more business opportunities through her, so I agreed to her proposal."

"Since you haven’t even sorted out your relationship with Yang Xiaofei, why did you agree to be Xiao’an’s boyfriend?" Luo Yaqian asked bluntly.

"I told her that if it was just about dating and nothing more, then I could be her boyfriend. But if we were to consider marriage in the future, we would both have to think about it very carefully. After all, we’ve only known each other for a short time and don’t know each other well," Wang Chenning answered honestly, holding nothing back.

Wang Chenning’s frankness surprised Luo Yaqian, but she still frowned and challenged him, "Aren’t you just toying with Xiao’an’s emotions? Don’t you think you’re two-timing her?"

"I haven’t deceived her. I’ve told her the truth about everything. I also told her that I’m very ambitious. Luo Yaqian understood the implication, which only made her angrier.

However, before she could voice her anger, Wang Chenning continued, "Luo Yuqing and I have a secret pact to accomplish something huge. In monetary terms, the project is worth at least ten trillion US dollars. To make it happen, I don’t just need Luo Yuqing’s help; I also need Yang Xiaofei and many other people on my side."

Luo Yaqian frowned. "What is it you’re planning to do?"

Wang Chenning lowered his voice. "Get our hands on South Korea. The target is the Shanxing Group."

Luo Yaqian was shocked by his words. "Have you gone completely insane?"

"I won’t hide it from you, Aunt Luo. I may have come to Yandu alone, but I have the backing of several secluded masters. Without their help, how could I possibly have this kind of ambition, let alone these medical skills?" Wang Chenning chuckled. "Huo Qubing of the Han Dynasty is my idol.
