Lei Danyun merely gave a haughty, cold snort in response.

Wang Chenning didn’t ask Lei Danyun why the two of them were the first to learn. He wasn’t going to question their arrangements; he would simply tailor his teaching to whoever showed up.

"You’re on your own for the evening!" Wang Chenning said to Lei Danyun and Wu Ziyue as he prepared to get dinner. "I have things to do tonight!"

"Aren’t you planning to get revenge on those people?" Wu Ziyue said in a low voice. "We’ll help you! Some things might be more convenient for us to handle."

"You don’t have anything else to do?" Wang Chenning looked with surprise at Wu Ziyue and a stone-faced Lei Danyun, who was putting on a cold front. "You’re willing to help me with this mess?"

"If nothing unexpected happens, Bai Qianxun will be meeting Zhang Guoping and some others for drinks tonight," Lei Danyun said in a cold voice. "Lin Annian and Lin Anning probably won’t be there. We’ll help you teach those guys a lesson! You can deal with the siblings, Lin Annian and Lin Anning, yourself."

"Okay!" Wang Chenning agreed, and even gave Lei Danyun a thumbs-up.

Wang Chenning didn’t eat with them. Instead, he went to have dinner with his disciples.
