Chapter 355: Ambition and Madness

After discussing the end of their engagement, Yang Xiaofei walked over to Wang Chenning, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed him.

"This is my last kiss to you as your fiancée!" she said, her lips lingering against Wang Chenning's. "You're the reason I first became curious about intimacy. But I never dared to imagine how we'd end up. I know I can't hold onto you, and I can't satisfy your ambition."

Wang Chenning wrapped his arms around Yang Xiaofei's waist and gave her a forceful kiss.

Yang Xiaofei didn't resist, her hands clinging tightly to Wang Chenning.

After more than ten minutes locked in a passionate embrace, Yang Xiaofei finally pulled away.

She straightened the clothes Wang Chenning had disheveled and asked in a low, wistful voice, "Why did you stop yourself at the last moment? "Your plans didn't include falling in love and getting married, either, did they?" Wang Chenning chuckled, completely unfazed by her mockery. "Men and women always focus on different things. Women get caught up in these trivial matters and fail to see the bigger picture!"

Yang Xiaofei didn't offer a sharp retort, sinking into silence instead.

After silently finishing her meal, she looked up at Wang Chenning. "You certainly don't lack for ambition."

"Exactly. That's why I have to fight for every resource I can get," Wang Chenning sighed. "I've had this ambition since I was a kid. Before coming to Yandu, I focused on honing myself, on becoming exceptional. I didn't even get involved with women. If I had, I wouldn't have still been a virgin when I arrived!"

"Ugh, gross!" Yang Xiaofei said, blushing and scoffing at him. "So you're just making up for lost time now!"

"Don't change the subject. Listen to me," Wang Chenning said, ignoring her taunt. "I will achieve my goals and become the most influential person in the world. I want more people to join my team so we can succeed together. It seems the first step has gone well; I've established an initial foothold. The whole reason I built a good relationship with Li Fuzhen and her nephew, Li Yanxian, on this trip to South Korea was to use them as an entry point to cultivate my own base there. If I get the chance, I will take over the Shanxing Group. And if the Shanxing Group is in my hands, do you think my influence in South Korea will be anything less than absolute?"

Although Wang Chenning hadn't spelled everything out, Yang Xiaofei could already sense the sheer scale of his ambitions from his words and was utterly astonished.

As he spoke, Wang Chenning extended his hand to Yang Xiaofei.
