Chapter 460: Time for a Good Stimulation

Yang Xiaofu was wearing a little something underneath her pajamas.

Seeing the small panties she wore as she lay face down, Wang Chenning couldn't help but give a wry smile.

He didn't force Yang Xiaofu to do anything, nor did he urge her to put on more clothes. He simply began her treatment.

When Yang Xiaofei came in, Wang Chenning was performing acupuncture on Yang Xiaofu's waist and abdomen.

Hearing the doorbell and Yang Xiaofei calling out, Wang Chenning got up to open the door.

As Yang Xiaofei entered, Yang Xiaofu turned slightly and snapped, "Sis, have a seat. Wait for me to finish my treatment!"

Seeing Yang Xiaofu receiving Wang Chenning's treatment while wearing next to nothing, Yang Xiaofei's expression turned grim.

Wang Chenning made a hushing gesture at her before continuing the acupuncture.

"Where else do you need to do?" Yang Xiaofu asked Wang Chenning after he had finished the points on her lower back. "Do you need me to turn over?"

"Of course!" Wang Chenning glanced at Yang Xiaofei and nodded. "You've been exposed to cold recently and developed a pulmonary condition. The circulation of vital energy and blood in your heart and lungs isn't flowing smoothly. To get it circulating properly throughout your body, I have to needle the Shanzhong, Yunmen, and Tianfu points!"

After hearing this, Yang Xiaofu turned over without the slightest hesitation.

Seeing Yang Xiaofu facing Wang Chenning like that, Yang Xiaofei's expression soured once more.

But neither Wang Chenning nor Yang Xiaofu paid her any mind. Yang Xiaofu lay with her eyes closed, completely relaxed. After sterilizing the area, Wang Chenning continued the acupuncture.

After another half hour, Wang Chenning finally removed the needles.

By now, his forehead was beaded with sweat.

Yang Xiaofu was also covered in sweat. She grabbed a nearby bath towel to wipe herself down before slipping her pajamas back on and sitting up, pulling the blanket around herself.

Wang Chenning went into the bathroom to wash his face, then came back and sat down beside Yang Xiaofei. He said with a casual laugh, "Don't read too much into it. When you're performing acupuncture, you have to be completely focused. If you're not, the treatment won't be effective, and you could even get yourself into trouble."

"You think I'd believe that?" Yang Xiaofei replied, her face cold. "It's not like I've never been treated by you before!"

"That's because I was punishing you on purpose before I inserted the needles," Wang Chenning muttered, too quietly for Yang Xiaofu to hear. Then he continued, "Actually, oncologists have seen far more, and far more complicated, situations than I have. The incidence of breast tumors has been rising in recent years, and women are paying more attention to their health, so they're getting more check-ups and ultrasounds. I've found that very few female patients are bothered by this kind of thing.

"Also, when they're in a clinical mindset, doctors really don't pay much attention to... this. Unless something is very out of the ordinary. Just think about male gynecologists, and it all makes sense. A lot of the time, what you're so self-conscious about is, to a doctor, just another part of the anatomy."

Yang Xiaofei gave Wang Chenning a derisive look. "I don't buy for a second that you don't have other ideas!"

"You really are a scumbag," Yang Xiaofu grunted. "Being so promiscuous... aren't you afraid of karma? Aren't you afraid of a woman getting revenge on you?"

"That's why I'm being up-front about it, and why I don't force you into anything," Wang Chenning said with a chuckle. "I'm not afraid of anyone's revenge. Anyone who tries to get back at me will end up in a much worse state than I will. I won't hide it from you—the things that have been happening in Yandu recently? That was all me, or people working for me."

Wang Chenning's words succeeded in stunning both Yang Xiaofei and Yang Xiaofu.

"That was all you?" Yang Xiaofei shot to her feet. "Bai Qianxun, Zhang Guoping, and Wu Linhan being beaten and plotted against... that was all your doing?!"

"They'll never find any evidence, anyway," Wang Chenning said with a smug grin. "What do you think? Impressed?"

Yang Xiaofei took a deep breath, utterly speechless.

Wang Chenning added, "As long as we don't try to tie each other down, we can be the best of friends, the best of partners. What I can give you, no one else can."

"You two sisters should talk. I'm heading back."

With that, he stood up and left without a moment's hesitation.
