Faith Beyond Doubt

Otherwise...

If these people kept burning through money without restraint, the D’Aurelius Group’s stock price would eventually collapse.

And in the world of finance, confidence was worth more than diamonds.

Once investors lost faith, no amount of money could restore it overnight.

Julian could not allow the D’Aurelius Group to fall into that kind of crisis.

He immediately reached for his phone.

His thumb pressed the call button.

The ringtone sounded once.

Twice.

Three times.

Then...

A cold mechanical voice answered.

"The number you have dialed is currently switched off."

The voice echoed through the quiet cabin before the call ended.

Julian stared at his phone for a moment.

Then he slowly lowered it.

A faint crease formed between his brows.

What’s going on?

Her phone is never off.

A small uneasiness stirred in his chest.

It was the first time since the financial battle began that genuine concern appeared in his golden eyes.

Bianca was meticulous.

Almost annoyingly so.

She never allowed herself to become careless when something important was at stake.

And this was more than important.

Hundreds of billions of Euros belonging to the D’Aurelius Group were involved.

She should have been watching every development.

She should have been reachable.

Yet her phone was switched off.

That alone was enough to make Julian uneasy.

It simply wasn’t like her.

The vehicle continued down the highway.

Sunlight spilled across the road.

Trees rushed past the windows in long green blurs.

Inside the cabin, however, nobody spoke.

The silence felt strangely heavy.

Lucas had heard the entire conversation.

He had remained quiet until now.

His blue eyes narrowed slightly.

Something buried deep inside his memory had begun to surface.

It was something he had nearly forgotten.

His fingers slowly tightened.

He hesitated.

For several seconds, he said nothing.

Then he finally broke the silence.

"Young Master Julian..."

Julian shifted his gaze toward him.

Lucas lowered his head respectfully.

"There’s something I forgot to report to you."

His expression became unusually solemn.

"The Obsidian Wing organization has planted a high-ranking piece inside one of the four great households."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"Could it be..."

The unfinished sentence lingered inside the vehicle.

Everyone immediately understood what he was implying.

Could Bianca have betrayed them?

Or...

Had she already fallen into the Obsidian Wing’s hands?

Julian didn’t answer immediately.

Silence filled the car.

His golden eyes remained fixed on the passing scenery outside the window.

His expression was calm, making it impossible for anyone to read what he was thinking.

Several long seconds passed.

Lucas quietly waited.

Shera also remained silent.

No one dared interrupt Julian’s thoughts.

If Bianca really betrayed me...

Then it means I judged her character incorrectly.

But if she didn’t...

Then she’s probably facing a danger she couldn’t escape.

Only Lina Ashford and Liza Voss, traveling in the vehicle behind him, quietly heard those thoughts.

Both women instinctively became serious.

Julian himself remained completely unaware.

A faint smile slowly appeared on his face.

It wasn’t a smile of mockery.

Nor was it forced.

It was the smile of someone who had already made his decision.

He looked directly at Lucas.

"Even if she was..."

Julian’s voice was calm.

"...I don’t know."

Lucas was slightly startled.

Before he could react, Julian continued.

"But I know one thing."

His golden eyes shone with unwavering confidence.

"I trust her."

The simple words carried extraordinary weight.

There wasn’t the slightest hesitation.

Nor was there any attempt to convince himself.

It was simply the conclusion he had reached.

Julian shook his head and smiled faintly.

"I don’t believe Bianca would betray me."

His tone remained relaxed, yet every word sounded firm enough to calm those around him.

Lucas stared at Julian in silence.

A complicated emotion surfaced in his heart.

Trust.

Such complete trust.

In today’s world, especially among powerful households, trust was rarer than any heavenly treasure.

Most people only believed in benefits.

Very few believed in people.

Yet Julian was different.

He had chosen to believe in Bianca despite the suspicious timing.

Lucas slowly lowered his head.

The respect in his heart deepened once again.

Perhaps...

This was exactly why so many outstanding women willingly followed Julian.

He inspired loyalty by giving it first.

Julian looked toward Shera, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.

"Old Shera."

Shera immediately turned around.

"Yes, Young Master Julian?"

Julian’s expression became serious.

"Please take some people and go to the De Dominicis Group."

His voice remained calm, but there was no room for argument.

"Protect Bianca."

"I have a feeling something is fishy there."

Shera nodded without the slightest hesitation.

His eyes became sharp.

He understood the seriousness of the situation immediately.

If Bianca was safe, then his mission would simply be protection.

If she had already encountered danger...

Then every second mattered.

"I understand."

Shera immediately reached for his communication device and began issuing rapid orders to several members of the Thunder Mammoth Elite Squad traveling behind them.

Within moments, one of the escort vehicles separated from the convoy.

The powerful SUV accelerated, changing direction toward the De Dominicis Group headquarters.

Shera opened the door before Julian’s vehicle had even completely stopped at the next junction.

He stepped out with several elite experts following closely behind.

Before leaving, he turned toward Julian once more.

His expression was resolute.

"Alright, rest assured, Young Master Julian, I will definitely protect Miss Bianca at any coast."
