Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 307: Cassandra Meets Them Where?!
Several minutes later, the group finally arrived at the nearest city.
Damian led everyone directly toward the local [Golden Medicine Pavilion] branch.
The moment Esmeralda showed her identity token, the pavilion staff immediately welcomed them inside and arranged private rooms.
Damian stretched lazily. "Finally, we’ve left that crazy place."
Helena glanced at him. "You say that like you weren’t involved in the disaster we just escaped from."
Damian immediately pointed at her. "Allegedly."
Linsey laughed.
Before everyone separated, Cynthia approached Esmeralda and handed her a small communication talisman. "Here."
Esmeralda accepted it and examined the markings.
Cynthia smiled faintly. "It’s connected to me. If you ever need information, help, or just want to contact us... use it."
Esmeralda looked at her for a moment before nodding. "Thank you."
Cynthia’s smile became slightly warmer. "Don’t make me wait too long."
Esmeralda understood exactly what she meant.
Soon afterward, Damian gathered Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn. "We’re leaving."
Esmeralda raised an eyebrow. "Already?"
Damian grinned. "I’ve got things to do."
He gave her a casual wave before turning away. "Take care, Esmeralda."
She watched Damian and the four women leave the pavilion.
For a long time, she said nothing. Eventually, her fingers tightened around Cynthia’s communication talisman.
Damian’s earlier words returned to her mind.
"You’re different from them."
At first, she had been offended, but now she understood what he truly meant.
Cassandra had slaughtered the people who ruined her life.
The others had already faced the greatest obstacles hanging over them.
Meanwhile, Esmeralda was still standing in the middle of her own problem.
In the end, she could only sigh. "Fine, then."
She slipped the talisman into her storage ring. "If I’m not good enough yet... then I’ll simply become better."
The next time Damian saw her, Esmeralda Verdanthe had no intention of being someone he could simply tell to wait.
---
After leaving the [Golden Medicine Pavilion], Damian led Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn through the city streets.
At first, none of them questioned where they were going... until Linsey noticed the increasingly familiar decorations ahead.
Linsey slowly stopped walking. "Wait a minute, Master Damian. Where are we going?"
The other three also began looking ahead, and when they heard the music and saw the numerous beautifully dressed women standing along the road...
All of them immediately turned toward Damian in shock.
Cynthia stared at him for a moment before finally sighing. "Master... you were in such a fucking hurry to leave Esmeralda just to come here?"
Damian immediately looked offended. "Hey, please don’t misunderstand me. I actually have a reason this time."
The four women stared at him with absolutely no trust in their eyes.
Damian sighed and continued walking toward the entrance. "I told Cassandra to meet us here."
Silence.
Cynthia stared at Damian like she wasn’t sure whether she had heard him correctly. "You told Cassandra..."
She slowly pointed toward the luxurious courtesan house ahead. "The same Cassandra who just slaughtered the patriarchs of two major families and turned an entire festival into a fucking blood sacrifice... to meet us at a courtesan house?"
Damian nodded casually. "Yep."
Linsey stared at him in disbelief. "Master..."
She placed a hand over her chest dramatically. "I always knew you were shameless, but I didn’t know your balls were made of steel."
Helena immediately added, "Steel would probably melt before his stupidity does."
Damian rolled his eyes. "Oh, relax."
He pointed toward the building. "Come on. I’m fucking exhausted too, you know."
Cynthia raised an eyebrow. "And this is your idea of resting?"
Damian looked at her as if she had just asked the stupidest question imaginable. "Obviously."
He spread his arms dramatically. "Good rooms, good food, good wine, beautiful music, and an entire building full of gorgeous women willing to entertain me."
His grin grew wider and increasingly shameless. "Tell me, Cynthia. Which part of that sounds stressful?"
Cynthia stared at him.
Damian confidently nodded to himself. "Exactly. This place is practically a cultivation paradise for an exhausted man like me."
The four women stared at Damian for several seconds before eventually giving up.
At this point, they already knew exactly what kind of man their master was.
Trying to stop Damian from entering a courtesan house was probably more difficult than stopping Cassandra’s forbidden art.
Helena sighed. "Whatever. Let’s just get this over with."
Linsey grinned. "As long as Master behaves."
Damian immediately looked offended. "Behaves? I always behave."
All four women stared at him.
Damian coughed. "Usually."
He walked inside and immediately approached the manager. "I want your biggest private room."
The woman’s eyes brightened. "Of course, Young Master."
Damian casually tossed over several spirit stones. "Best food, best wine, good music, and enough space for several more people."
The manager smiled brightly. "We’ll arrange everything immediately."
Soon, Damian was sitting comfortably inside an enormous private room filled with soft cushions, low tables, incense, and elegant decorations.
Normally, several courtesans would have immediately surrounded a wealthy guest like him.
Unfortunately for them... Linsey sat directly against Damian’s left side.
Cynthia claimed the right.
Helena sat opposite him with her arms crossed, and Evelyn quietly occupied the closest remaining seat.
Together, they formed an almost perfect defensive formation around their master.
Several courtesans standing nearby exchanged awkward glances.
One beautiful woman finally stepped forward. "Young Master, perhaps I could pour your..."
Cynthia smiled gently. "I can handle it."
The courtesan froze.
Another tried approaching from Damian’s other side, but Linsey immediately leaned closer against him.
Damian looked around at the four women surrounding him. "What the hell is this?"
Helena answered calmly. "Security."
His eyes twitched. "Security from what?"
Evelyn glanced toward the nearby courtesans. "Pesky women."
Damian stared at them in disbelief. "These women literally work here!"
Cynthia poured him a cup of wine. "Exactly why we’re watching them."
Damian sighed deeply.
"Goddammit. My own harem is cockblocking me."
Still, he leaned back comfortably. At least the food was good, and the music wasn’t bad either.
Now, all he had to do was wait for Cassandra.
