Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 308: The Demon Queen Awakens
Back at the destroyed festival grounds, the enormous black-red cocoon continued floating silently above the ruins.
For almost another hour, nothing happened.
Then, just a minute later, thin fractures suddenly began to appear across its surface.
CRACK! CRACK!
The entire cocoon suddenly collapsed inward, transforming into countless streams of demonic energy before being absorbed into the figure at its center.
Cassandra slowly opened her eyes, signaling that her rebirth was finally complete.
She had completely changed.
Her long, dark hair now carried crimson streaks that seemed to glow whenever her aura stirred.
Her skin had become pale and flawless, while her eyes had transformed into a deep crimson-black, giving her an eerie yet strangely beautiful appearance.
Her aura had also completely changed.
Before, Cassandra had merely possessed an aggressive Metal Sword Qi.
Now, every trace of Sword Qi surrounding her carried a bloody, demonic presence that felt far more sinister than before.
More importantly, within her soul rested a newly reborn weapon, her King Grade sword.
No. It was no longer merely a King Grade weapon. The sword had transformed alongside Cassandra, advancing beyond its former limits.
It had become a True King Grade Sword.
Cassandra slowly raised one hand, and crimson-black sword light gathered above her palm before condensing into an elegant dark blade covered in faint blood-red patterns.
She stared at the blade for several breaths before the corners of her lips slowly curled upward into a slightly crazed grin. "Congratulations on our rebirth, Queen."
Cassandra dismissed Queen and slowly looked around.
The once-grand festival grounds had been reduced to little more than ruins, shattered stone, and scorched earth.
She barely cared.
Then, something caught her attention.
A flat stone had been deliberately placed beside the remains of a broken wall, positioned almost perfectly for her to notice the moment she looked in that direction.
Cassandra narrowed her eyes and walked toward it. The moment she saw the words carved across its surface, her expression froze.
---
[Still alive. Don’t forget your promise.]
[Meet me at the largest courtesan house in the nearest city.]
[Damian, The Black Dragon]
---
Cassandra stared at the message for several seconds before suddenly bursting into laughter. "Damian... you really are fucking crazy."
She already knew Damian was still alive. She had made sure of that before beginning her rebirth.
What she hadn’t expected was for the bastard to survive everything that had happened and immediately run straight toward the nearest courtesan house.
Apparently, nearly dying still wasn’t enough to cure his fucking horniness.
Even worse, he actually had the nerve to remind her about her promise to join his ridiculous harem.
Cassandra shook her head as a slightly crazed grin spread across her face. "You really are one crazy bastard."
She glanced once more at Damian’s name carved into the stone before turning away. "Fine. I’m coming to you now."
She picked up the stone and stored it away before immediately flying toward the nearest city.
A dark-red streak tore across the horizon as Cassandra left the ruined festival grounds behind.
Her crimson-black eyes narrowed slightly as a wicked grin slowly spread across her face. "Damian, oh Damian..."
A faint laugh escaped her lips. "Let’s see just how fucking alive you really are now."
---
Damian was still enjoying himself inside the private room when, all of a sudden, a thunderous voice exploded through the air, shocking everyone inside.
"BLACK DRAGON! YOU FUCKING BASTARD! GET OUT HERE!"
Silence instantly filled the room.
Damian froze as well, his expression turning completely dumbfounded. "The hell?! How the fuck is that name being shouted here again?"
His expression changed instantly and he rushed straight toward the balcony, and the moment he looked upward, his eyes widened.
High above the city floated a woman surrounded by endless crimson-black Sword Qi.
Her long dark hair now carried glowing blood-red streaks, matching the eerie crimson glow in her eyes.
Her skin had become unnaturally pale, and the bloody demonic pressure radiating from her body was so overwhelming that the entire area seemed to tremble beneath it.
Damian stared at her for several seconds before quickly recognizing who she was.
Even with her completely changed appearance, there was no way he could mistake that familiar figure and body shape. "Cassandra?"
High above him, Cassandra slowly turned her gaze toward Damian.
The moment she saw him standing there alive and perfectly fine, a slightly crazed grin appeared on her face. "So you really are alive and well, huh?"
Damian couldn’t hear what she was saying from this distance.
Still, judging from her expression and the terrifying aura rolling off her body, he was damn sure she wasn’t saying anything nice.
Cassandra suddenly pointed toward a distant mountain outside the city and shouted, "I’LL WAIT FOR YOU THERE, BLACK DRAGON!"
Her grin became even more dangerous. "YOU BETTER COME, OR ELSE..."
BOOOOOOM!
Her demonic pressure exploded outward once again, causing the entire city to shake violently.
Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn instantly frowned as the overwhelming pressure crashed down upon them.
Even from this distance, they could clearly feel just how terrifying Cassandra had become.
Cassandra laughed from above. "Don’t make me come back and drag you out myself, Black Dragon."
The moment Cassandra finished speaking, she disappeared toward the distant mountain like a crimson-black streak.
WHOOSH!
Only silence remained.
For several breaths, nobody in the city moved. Then, a moment later...
"RUN!"
Someone screamed from below, and the entire city instantly erupted into chaos.
Cultivators began rushing toward the city gates, while merchants abandoned their stalls without hesitation and fled through the air on spiritual treasures.
Within seconds, the once-bustling streets had turned into complete pandemonium.
"Get the fuck out of here!"
"That woman’s aura is terrifying!"
"She challenged another expert! They’re going to fight!"
Within moments, countless cultivators were desperately leaving the city.
Nobody wanted to remain anywhere near a confrontation between two beings capable of releasing pressure like that.
Inside the courtesan house, Damian stared down at the panicking streets and sighed. "I think I just accidentally evacuated an entire fucking city."
