Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 318: Cassandra Joins the Nolan Hate
Damian kept the explanation simple.
Cassandra listened quietly as Damian first explained Violetta’s past, including her connection with Nolan.
Basically about how her entire family had died because of him and how Nolan had crippled her over something she hadn’t even done.
By the time Damian finished, Cassandra’s expression had already darkened. "That bastard."
Damian raised an eyebrow.
Cassandra’s bloody aura stirred around her. "How the fuck did he dare hurt Violetta? From what you just told me, none of that was even her fault in the first place."
Her eyes narrowed even further. "And she helped him before, right? Yet when her own family was suffering, he didn’t even fucking help her?"
Damian nodded. "Exactly."
Cassandra clicked her tongue. "Then Nolan really is a bastard."
Damian sighed. "I know. I want to kill him too."
He briefly explained Vulkara afterward, though her connection to Nolan was nothing. The real problem remained Nolan himself.
Damian looked toward the distance. "Unfortunately, wanting him dead and actually killing him are two different things. That guy is basically a fucking chosen one."
Cassandra frowned.
Damian coughed awkwardly. "I already fought him once and lost horribly."
Cassandra’s eyes sharpened. "That’s why I’m avoiding him for now. I’m not interested in fighting a battle I know I can’t win yet."
Cassandra slowly nodded. "I see."
Then her expression became thoughtful. "So your current plan is to head toward the demonic sects’ side and find a way to deal with him from there?"
Damian nodded. "Pretty much."
He shrugged. "Coming into Valeria territory was supposed to be temporary. I just wanted to stay here for a while and see whether I could find you."
Damian looked at her and smiled. "Who would’ve expected I’d actually run into you right in the middle of your revenge?"
Cassandra immediately laughed. "Hehehe... looks like we really do have fate."
Then she pointed at him. "And don’t say ’find me’ like I’m still some separate problem. I already joined your harem. That discussion is finished."
Damian nodded helplessly. "Yeah, yeah. I know."
Cassandra crossed her arms. "So what do we do now?"
Damian glanced toward the wooden house. "First, we wait until the other four wake up. We should discuss everything together before moving anywhere."
He stretched lazily while rubbing his stomach. "For now, though... let’s get something to eat. I’m fucking starving."
Damian narrowed his eyes at her. "Especially after you sucked me dry that badly."
Cassandra’s grin immediately returned. "Hehehe... sure, sure. This time, I’ll cook for you myself."
She proudly placed a hand on her chest. "Don’t worry. I’ll make sure it tastes really fucking good."
Damian stared at her suspiciously. "Why does hearing that from you somehow make me even more worried?"
---
Meanwhile, far away from Damian and the others, the atmosphere inside the Blue Mist Sect had become completely chaotic.
The sect was practically at war with the Nether Blood Moon Sect.
For the past several days, several important Blue Mist Sect locations had been attacked, supply routes had been sabotaged, and secret information had somehow leaked into demonic cultivator hands.
Naturally, suspicion quickly fell on one terrifying possibility: there were traitors among them.
Because of this, the Blue Mist Sect elders reacted immediately, sealing the gates and questioning every disciple.
Storage halls, mission records, communication talismans, and even personal residences were searched one after another.
Fortunately, several actual spies had already been discovered. However, this only made the elders even more aggressive in their investigation.
Meanwhile, some of the more important spies, such as Serina and Miona, had not been discovered at all.
Inside a quiet residence, Miona paced back and forth with an irritated expression. "This is getting fucking ridiculous."
Serina remained seated beside the window, calmly watching the patrols outside.
Miona continued, "Another three disciples got dragged away this morning. If they keep searching like this, sooner or later they’re going to reach us."
Serina nodded slightly. "I know."
Miona stopped walking. "Then why the hell are we still here?"
Serina finally looked toward her younger sister. "Because running at the wrong moment would make us look even more suspicious."
Miona clicked her tongue. "We’re already suspicious enough, you know."
Serina gave her a quiet look.
Miona crossed her arms and sighed. "Fine. But we need to be quick, you know? The sect is too unstable right now. The elders are desperate, and desperate people stop caring about proof."
Serina frowned before letting out a tired sigh. "I know, but we still need to wait for the perfect time to leave. For now, let’s just make sure we don’t act too suspicious and figure out the safest way to escape."
Miona could only sigh again. "Yeah, yeah, fine, Sister. But we still need to at least prepare an escape route."
Serina sighed. "I know, I know. I’ll slowly handle it. Just make sure our reputation stays good so no one starts suspecting us."
Miona nodded. "Leave it to me."
---
Damian sat beside the small fire, eating a large piece of roasted spirit beast meat.
After taking another bite, his eyebrows rose. "Damn... this is actually really good."
Cassandra sat across from him with a satisfied grin. "Of course it is."
Damian looked at her. "Didn’t expect you to be this good at cooking."
Cassandra shrugged. "I lived alone for a long time. Someone had to feed me, and that someone was usually me."
Damian nodded slowly. "I see..."
He took another bite before suddenly remembering something. "By the way, what about Brakk?"
Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "Brakk?"
Damain nodded. "Yeah. That saber guy. Is he part of your group or something?"
Cassandra shook her head. "No. I just met him along the way. He found out a little about what I was planning and wanted to help."
She leaned back casually. "That’s basically it."
Damian nodded. "So he wasn’t really following you?"
She shook her head, then turned her gaze toward the distance. "Nope. By now, he should’ve already continued on his own journey."
Cassandra’s expression turned slightly thoughtful. "After all, I told him that day that I was probably going to sacrifice myself."
Damian paused. "Oh, right."
He remembered that part clearly.
Then he glanced at Cassandra’s crimson-black eyes, pale skin, and bloody demonic aura. "Well... in the end, you didn’t die."
Cassandra chuckled.
Damian laughed. "Brakk would probably be pretty fucking shocked if he saw what you turned into."
Cassandra chuckled. "Yeah."
Her grin widened. "I’d like to see his face too."
