Damian suddenly remembered something and quickly turned toward Cynthia. "Wait a minute! When exactly is this challenge supposed to happen?"

Cynthia calmly opened the letter again and pointed toward the date written near the bottom. "Tomorrow, Master."

Damian blinked in surprise. "Huh? That fast?!"

He stared at the date for a moment before suddenly bursting into laughter. "Hahaha! Damn, those bastards must be seriously pissed off! They can’t even wait a few days!"

Miona immediately clenched her fists, a fierce grin appearing on her face. "Good! Then we won’t have to waste any more time waiting to beat those idiots up!"

Damian nodded enthusiastically, his shameless grin widening. "Exactly, exactly! If they’re really that desperate to embarrass themselves in public, then who the hell am I to stop them? Hehehe!"

---

The next morning, Damian contacted Ren and Aiko, asking the siblings to come over and accompany his group once again.

The two arrived not long afterward, expecting another ordinary day of sightseeing around Hanamiyako.

Unfortunately, the moment Damian explained where they were planning to go, both siblings immediately froze in disbelief.

Aiko stared at him with wide eyes before exclaiming, "WHAT?! You’re planning to fight both the Kurogane and Yamikarasu?! Young Master Damian, have you gone crazy?!"

Ren looked equally horrified, his expression becoming even uglier as he processed the situation. "And you’re telling me that you’re going to fight them in the Sacred Arena?!"

Damian couldn’t help bursting into laughter at their horrified expressions.

"Hahaha! Oh, come on! Why are you two acting like we’re about to die? Don’t you already know how strong we are? Those guys shouldn’t be much of a problem!"

Aiko immediately shook her head, clearly unconvinced by his carefree attitude.

"But Young Master Damian! Those are two well-established Second Tier factions! They’re not some random cultivators you can casually mess around with!"

Damian merely smiled before reaching out and gently patting Aiko’s head. "Relax, relax! Just watch us, and I’ll show you exactly how ridiculously strong we really are!"

Aiko stared at him helplessly, clearly wondering how someone could remain so confident after receiving a challenge from two powerful factions.

However, Ren quickly stepped forward, his expression becoming unusually serious.

"Young Master Damian, I understand that you and your companions are incredibly powerful, but that’s not the only problem here."

Damian raised an eyebrow curiously. "Oh? Then what’s the problem?"

Ren took a deep breath before answering, "The problem is that you’ve agreed to fight them in the Sacred Arena."

Damian blinked in confusion. "Huh? What’s wrong with the Sacred Arena? Isn’t it just another place where cultivators fight?"

Ren immediately shook his head. "No, Young Master. The Sacred Arena isn’t an ordinary fighting arena. Just as its name suggests, it’s considered one of the most sacred battlegrounds in the entire Sakura Empire."

He paused briefly, his expression growing increasingly solemn. "Unlike ordinary arenas, where cultivators can spar, compete, or surrender after being defeated, the Sacred Arena only recognizes one kind of battle."

Damian narrowed his eyes slightly, finally becoming more interested.

Ren looked directly at him before revealing the arena’s most important rule. "A life-and-death battle."

He continued grimly, "Once both sides enter the Sacred Arena and the battle officially begins, there’s no ordinary surrender or peaceful withdrawal. The fight only ends when one side is dead."

Hearing this, even Aiko became noticeably nervous.

Meanwhile, Damian simply stared at Ren for a moment, seemingly processing what he had just heard.

However, instead of becoming worried, Damian suddenly burst into even louder laughter. "HAHAHAHA! A life-and-death battle?! That’s even better!"

Ren and Aiko immediately froze, staring at him as though he had completely lost his mind.

Damian wiped a tear from the corner of his eye before grinning shamelessly. "Hehehe! Damn, those idiots really know how to make things interesting! I was worried they’d just surrender after getting beaten up!"

Miona immediately clenched her fists, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "Hahaha! Perfect! Now I can finally beat those bastards to death without anyone complaining!"

Linsey enthusiastically raised both hands. "Ohhh! Now that’s what I call a proper fight! This is going to be fun!"

Helena casually rolled her shoulders and shrugged. "Well, they chose the battlefield themselves. Can’t exactly blame us for what happens next."

Cassandra’s crimson eyes gleamed with bloodthirsty excitement as she giggled. "Hehehe! Darling, isn’t this wonderful? They practically gave us permission to slaughter them!"

Serina gently covered her mouth, chuckling with an elegant smile. "Fufu, how considerate of them. It seems we won’t have to worry about holding back."

Cynthia calmly nodded in agreement. "Indeed. That certainly simplifies matters."

Even Evelyn, who had remained silent throughout the conversation, gave a slight nod. "Convenient."

Meanwhile, Ren and Aiko could only stare at the entire group in absolute disbelief.

"JUST WHAT KIND OF MONSTERS ARE THESE PEOPLE?!"

---

Elsewhere in Hanamiyako, a young woman with a cold expression was walking through a bustling market district.

Her long, dark yellow hair swayed gently behind her as faint traces of lightning occasionally flickered around her fingertips.

This woman was none other than Raika, who had only recently returned to the city.

Originally, she had planned to spend the morning purchasing a few cultivation materials before returning home to continue her training.

However, while passing a nearby information board, she suddenly overheard several cultivators discussing something rather exciting.

"Hey! Did you hear the news?! The Kurogane Samurai Guild and Yamikarasu have issued a joint challenge! Apparently, the battle is going to take place at the Sacred Arena!"

Another cultivator immediately widened his eyes in disbelief. "What?! The Sacred Arena?! Damn, just who the hell managed to piss off those two factions so badly?!"

The first cultivator shrugged before answering, "Apparently, it’s some group of foreign cultivators who recently arrived in Hanamiyako."

Hearing this, Raika suddenly stopped walking, her previously indifferent expression showing a hint of surprise.

"Foreign cultivators?"

Although Hanamiyako frequently welcomed cultivators from different regions, it was extremely rare for foreigners to receive an official challenge from two established Second Tier factions simultaneously.

More importantly, the challenge was taking place at the Sacred Arena, where battles were fought to the death.

Raika narrowed her eyes slightly, finding the entire situation rather unusual.

’Two Second Tier factions joining forces against a group of foreigners... Just what did those people do to provoke such a reaction?’

She considered the matter for a moment before glancing toward the direction of the Sacred Arena.

Originally, she hadn’t planned on doing anything particularly interesting today.

However, now that such an unusual event was taking place, she figured there was no harm in satisfying her curiosity.

"Well, I don’t have anything important to do right now anyway. I might as well go take a look."

With that thought, Raika casually changed direction and began making her way toward the Sacred Arena, completely unaware that the foreign cultivators involved in the challenge were actually people she knew.
