Villains Aren't Stepping Stones!
Chapter 600 Back(Extra Chap)
SKREEEEEEEEECH!
The noise scraped against the spiritual sea like millions of rusty blades dragged across a bronze mirror.
Any weaker willed being who heard this noise would’ve already gone insane.
But Haoran?
He was furious!
"Azathoth!" Haoran screamed.
Just then, a golden third eye appeared on his forehead.
Simultaneously, his left eye turned silver, and his right eye turned purple.
Instantly, the pitch black sea within his spiritual domain ruptured under the sheer, cataclysmic fury of his soul’s awakening.
The golden third eye embedded vertically upon the center of his brow snapped open like the fissure of a primordial star, casting a burning, unyielding light of imperial law that pierced through the suffocating gloom.
His left eye, transformed into a pool of pure, polished silver, radiated the absolute concept of creation and life, full of vitality and strength.
His right eye, burning with a deep, cosmic violet, churned with the very concept of destruction.
The three radiant lights intersected, bathing his drowning soul in a halo of divine, sovereign majesty that halted the creeping black rot cold at his jawline!
SKRRRRREEEEEEE-KRRRR!
The parasite inside his marrow knew the hour of subjugation had come, and it had absolutely no desire to be dominated.
The sword was forged from the remnant of Azathoth, the Primordial Chaos God, the devourer of worlds, the father of outer ones, a cosmic plague that did not recognize life, time, or consciousness, seeking only to reduce all structured existence into a curdled, bubbling broth of chaotic madness.
At that moment, the black sludge devouring Haoran’s body began to convulse with violent, sickening tremors.
The tentacles of this vast, black sludge didn’t just curve like ordinary tentacles, instead, they curdled, turning into a foul, undulating swamp of liquefied organs, rotting bone marrow, and sour, rancid fat that bubbled with toxic, sulfurous gases.
From the center of the lake of rot, a mountain of a creature made out of glistening, fibrous tissue surged upward, shedding sheets of black bile that reeked of eons old tomb dirt and stagnant vomit.
The creature did not possess a face, nor did it have a defined shape.
It was a shifting, gargantuan tumescence of living cancer, hundreds of bloated, purple veined tongues, each twenty miles long and covered in weeping, blistered sores, lashing out through the dark!
Thousands of pale, translucent human fingers, each tipped with jagged, yellowed fingernails, sprouted from the meat like mold on rotting bread, twitching and clawing frantically at the empty air!
Beneath the writhing carpet of fingers, dozens of bloated, human like faces—distorted in expressions of unending, sanity shattering torment, with their jaws stretched open until their cheeks tore down to the collarbones—began to wail in discordant, ear-splitting agony.
They wept streams of foul, yellowish fluid that dripped down the churning meat, vomiting half digested teeth and curdled blood back into the sea!
The maddening piping of unseen bone flutes shrieked from the void, a droning, hollow tune that clawed at the walls of Haoran’s soul, whispering blasphemous truths that made the very geometry of his consciousness begin to buckle and invert!
It was a vision of cosmic horror so profound, so utterly gag inducing, that any ordinary saint or supreme Emperor gazing upon it would have clawed their own eyes from their sockets and bitten their own tongues off just to escape the memory!
But for Haoran, such a being was not worthy of fear.
"Azathoth! You dare attempt to feast upon my soul?!" Haoran’s voice thundered across the abyss, shaking the liquid midnight to its foundations. "In the outside world, you might be a forbidden terror! But inside my sea of consciousness, you are nothing more than iron to be forged beneath my boot!"
BOOOOOOM!
Haoran tore his arms free from the clinging mire!
The three radiant eyes upon his face blazed with blinding intensity!
His silver left eye locked onto the churning mass of tentacles, and with a single thought, the spatial laws inside his mind manifested as thousands of translucent, diamond-like mirrors of spatial severance!
SHING! SHING! SHING!
The mirrors fell like an executioner’s rain, slicing through the slick, rubbery limbs of the abomination!
Colossal tentacles, thirty feet thick and covered in chattering mouths, were severed clean from the main mass!
They tumbled into the black mud, thrashing and weeping black slime, their severed stumps spraying fountains of foul, necrotic pus that hissed violently against the space!
Yet the horror did not die.
Where each tentacle was severed, dozens of smaller, pale white tendrils, resembling bloated, vein-covered maggots the size of horses, erupted from the open wounds!
They burrowed into the black mud and shot toward Haoran like a swarm of starved leeches, their circular, needle filled maws snapping frantically in unison!
At the same time, the colossal mountain of rot split down the middle!
A gaping, abyssal maw sixty miles wide opened in the center of the abomination!
Inside that dark cavity, there were no teeth—there was only a spinning, chaotic vortex of dead stars, surrounded by walls of pulsing, purple stomach lining covered in blinking, bloodshot human eyes that sobbed and shrieked in absolute terror!
The maw generated an overwhelming, reality devouring gravitational pull, seeking to drag Haoran’s entire spiritual core into its burning acid bath!
Haoran’s purple right eye flared!
The boundless, ancient essence of his Infinity Dragon God Physique roared into reality!
A colossal, ethereal dragon skull forged of ancient amethyst and starlight manifested behind Haoran’s back, spanning thousands of leagues across the inner dark!
The phantom dragon opened its jaws, roaring a challenge that shattered the piping bone flutes into silence, and dove straight into the abyss!
CRUNCH!
The dragon’s teeth of pure cosmic law clamped down upon the abomination’s central mass!
The abomination shrieked, a sound so shrill and mind-breaking that blood began to seep from the ears and nose of Haoran’s physical body outside!
The black meat writhed, thousands of tiny human hands grasping at the dragon’s jaws, trying to tear off the violet scales, while the bloated tongues wrapped around the dragon’s snout, spitting acidic bile that sizzled against the celestial scales!
"Still struggling?!" Haoran roared, stepping forward across the sundered mire!
The golden third eye on his brow burned with the true majesty of his Genesis Protocol!
"I declare, within this sanctum, your hunger is severed! Your chaos is chained! Your rot is bound!"
The golden light descended like a mountain of solid, unbreakable adamantine!
THUUUUM!
The massive, sixty miles maw of the abomination was forcefully crushed shut beneath the golden decree!
The hundreds of bloated tongues were snapped in two, dissolving into foul grey smoke!
The thousands of weeping eyes lining the meat burst one by one like overripe grapes under an iron boot, splattering their yellow fluids into the dark!
The entity writhed in frantic, humiliated panic.
It was a fragment of the supreme creator of chaos, a being that had slumbered in the void before the stars were lit, yet here, inside the spiritual vessel of a mortal youth, it was being battered, crushed, and pinned to the floorboards by an unyielding will that refused to bend to the madness of the outer dark!
Driven by pure, rabid desperation, the remaining mass of the black sludge gathered itself into a towering, jagged spike of solidified obsidian rot!
It lunged directly toward Haoran’s exposed chest, aiming its needle point at his spiritual heart, seeking to drag them both down into mutual, eternal annihilation!
Beside him, the spectral form of Huo Yue, sculpted from the serene, tranquil essence of the Clear Heart Flame, stood trembling on the edge of the mire.
Her blue, fiery form was already dim, having burned through nearly all of its ethereal energy to keep the outer god’s madness from chewing his soul while he slept.
Haoran turned his gaze toward her. His golden, silver, and purple eyes saw the flickering, fragile state of her flame.
He did not hesitate.
He reached out his right hand, not to push her away, but to draw her into his grasp.
"Lend me your light, Yue’er," Haoran whispered softly, his voice cutting through the dying shrieks of the void.
He pulled the Clear Heart Flame directly into his palm!
HUUUUUMMMMM.
The tranquil, sapphire fire of the 21st Heavenly Flame did not resist him.
It flowed into his fingers like cool, liquid silk, wrapping around his hand and tracing up his arm, mingling with the radiant golden authority of his third eye, the spatial severance of his silver pupil, and the crushing dragon-power of his purple gaze!
Haoran raised his right fist, now coated in a swirling, breathtaking nova of serene sapphire, solar gold, and cosmic violet!
"Return to your scabbard and sleep, you parasite!"
Haoran drove his fist straight down into the descending spike of obsidian rot!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The impact detonated with the brilliance of a brand-new dawn breaking over an ancient, dead world!
The Clear Heart Flame, amplified by the boundless reserves of Haoran’s three eyes, surged through the black meat like an unstoppable, purifying wave of crystal-clear mountain water!
HISSSSSSSSSSSSS!
The foul, rancid sludge did not merely burn—it was sterilized!
The maddening whispers that had clawed at his sanity were incinerated into a completely clean silence.
The thousands of weeping, lidless eyes dried up, turning into brittle, harmless flakes of grey ash that drifted away like falling leaves.
The circular, needle toothed mouths snapped shut, their fangs crumbling into dust, and the bloated, veiny tongues shriveled and dissolved into thin air!
The terrifying, gargantuan mountain of living cancer that had threatened to devour his very existence was crushed, condensed, and forcefully hammered downward!
Under the relentless, crushing weight of the Clear Heart Flame and Haoran’s will, the boundless ocean of rot was compressed smaller and smaller—from a sea, to a lake, to a puddle, down to a single, inert droplet of black ink that was violently driven backward into the spiritual projection of Azathoth’s obsidian blade!
CLANG!
With a crisp, final chime of celestial iron, the dark blade absorbed the black drop.
Ancient, glowing golden chains forged of Haoran’s soul intent wrapped around the fuller of the dark Tang Dao, sealing the will of the primordial outer god beneath ninety-nine layers of conceptual locks, forcing the consciousness of Azathoth back into a deep, dreamless coma!
The spiritual sea smoothed out.
The rancid, suffocating stench of decayed meat and bile vanished, replaced by the clean, crisp perfume of fresh mountain air.
The stagnant black waters cleared, turning into a tranquil, mirror-like lake of deep azure and liquid gold, reflecting the infinite, peaceful starlight of his restored sea of consciousness.
Haoran stood tall upon the calm water, his breathing steady, his black and gold imperial robes pristine once more.
The golden third eye on his forehead slowly closed, sealing itself beneath smooth skin, while his silver and purple eyes faded back into their natural, unreadable pools of radiant celestial gold.
He turned around, his gaze softening as he looked upon the spectral figure before him.
The Clear Heart Flame that had taken the shape of Huo Yue had spent every last shred of its essence.
The serene blue light that had formed her hair, her face, and her fierce, defiant eyes was rapidly turning transparent, scattering into tiny, glittering motes of sapphire dust that drifted toward the ceiling of his mind.
Her spectral form stood barely an arm’s length away.
Her lips, faint as morning mist, curved into a tired, satisfied smirk, her translucent, burning crimson eyes locked onto his golden pupils with unwavering warmth and unyielding pride.
She did not speak, but the fierce, mocking affection in her smile said everything: I brought you back, you bastard.
Haoran reached his hand out to cup her cheek, but his fingers passed through the fading warmth of her spiritual essence.
With a soft, peaceful sigh that rippled across the tranquil lake, the flame Huo Yue vanished, dissolving completely into the starlight of his awakened mind, returning its energy back to her physical vessel waiting outside in the mortal world.
